We called in after spotting this deli/cafe and we were not disappointed. I had soup and it was delicious and hearty, real Scottish potato and leek and I just loved it. My hubby had it with a ham and piccalilli sandwich, after all the years together I didn't know he liked piccalilli!!! Anyhow he just loved it. We were so full after it we couldn't fit my promised cake in. One guy said that he was sorry for leaving such a clean plate as he felt that he had inhale his meal as it was sooooo good Well done and keep up that level of service and great wholesome food

Delicious home cooked Scottish breakfast with excellent produce. Very good service and accommodating with my fussiness and swapping out a couple of things. Would definitely recommend

We stopped in Dunkeld on our way back from Isle of Sky on our way back to Edinburgh. Dunkeld was a pleasant accident. We stopped in Dunkeld for lunch. Dunkeld Fine Dining won out for our lunch stop. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. The carrot coriander soup was superb! The salmon sandwich was also tasty. There is also a beautiful garden, St Ninians, and several nice shops. In the town. Chef Steve and the staff were very pleasant.

A great evening. Beautifully prepared and served meal. The colours and positioning of the vegetable selection, the carefully cooked food, the wide choice of menu, the attentive service, the cosy ambience. What a lovely evening. I would recommend highly to anyone interested in giving it a try.

Beautifully presented hotel and restaurant. This was our first visit to Cairn Lodge for a family dinner. We were unfortunately disappointed by the standard of food, particularly the ribeye steaks. Fillet steaks looked amazing, however the ribeyes appeared to be sourced from a different supplier, lacking flavour and being overcooked. It would have been appreciated if someone had inquired about our main course, as we would have shared our thoughts. I sensed that the staff may have been hesitant to engage with us after serving the steaks, likely due to their awareness of the quality issues.

This is a fantastic little cafe/coffee shop in Alyth. Very friendly and food and coffee are great. Mike, the owner, takes great pride in his work - and is a wonderful cook. We’d particularly recommend the pizzas and paninis!
