Duke of York in Rushmoor

We visit the duke every day we have been coming for over a year now. We come from Bracknell but work in aldershot, we eat everyday and bring the dog, absolutely amazing service every time such a good atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Riah and her team are wicked. The Sunday roast is one of the best I’ever had, so lucky it’s on my door step. We came for the country music afternoon which had a lovely atmosphere / great music

Staff are always super duper friendly here, especially the landlady, she is awesome! I always get served quickly in this pub and the service comes with a smile, which counts for a lot in Aldershot 😅 The beer garden is really nice now that they have done it up, with plenty of places to sit and loads of screens to be able to watch the sport (when it's on). I have not yet experienced it, but the food also looks tremendous! Especially the Sunday lunch! Get yourself down here for a drink! This is a top-notch classic pub, no matter if you're a local or someone visiting, you will find it warm and welcoming.

The last 3 times you have run out of Heineken not good need to in prove its costing you money

I would strongly advise not to visit this place after the damage that was done to the dj wet floor and broken glass all over no signs on the floor no responsibility taken passed the blame serving drinks to manors age rang from 10/12 upwards children in the pub past the licence conditions broken speeker £800 not amused whatsoever no wonder several DJs canceld or didn’t attend the venue totally shambles not clean or tidy avoid like Covid would highly advise going to the pub no regards for safety or anything!!

If I could give this zero stars I would, landlady is absolutely rude and vile, she was screaming and swearing at the dj and his assistant and allowing the regular punters to be abusive and threatening the female assistant, they were serving children from 10 year old alcohol, the floor was covered in smashed glass all evening and a wet floor that didn't get cleaned. I will never ever be going back there again. I would advise anyone never go there.

Absolutely vile staff very disrespectful the DJ equipment ended up getting broken due to failure of staff mopping the floor and putting a wet floor sign down so someone ended up slipping and breaking the DJ equipment ( £800) loss. the landlady is absolutely vile human being who swears at you and is argumentive I highly suggest if you get booked for a DJ do not go as we got booked for 730 till 1130 then the landlady tried to black mail us saying she wouldn't pay us unless we stayed till 2am they just let broken glass on the floor and don't bother cleaning it up they also let underages drinking take place throughout the pub. They also had children and baby's in the pub past 6pm

A 60th birthday with a meal and drinks . Made to feel at home at the pub with good service and friendly staff. A bit expensive but a lot of fun .

Popped in hoping they had a pool table and they did, free to play on Saturdays along with the jukebox, normally (£1 per game) drinks were cheap, service was friendly, overall atmosphere was inviting and not a typical only locals allowed vibe. I have read they also do good food so we will be back to try that. although we are not local (we live in Farnborough) we will be making this a spot to pop in when we fancy a drink or just to unwind.

We had our wake for our dad at the Duke of York yesterday. We had fantastic service from the new owners and a delicious hot and cold buffet with a wide variety of very tasty food to suit all pallettes. My personal favourites were the fish goujons - big pieces of moist fish with lovely crunchy batter but I enjoyed the rest of the food which was very fresh and very tasty. Thankyou so much for making a difficult afternoon so pleasurable. I highly recommend the Duke of York and their yummy food!

Variety of beers and lagers at a good price. Pub empty at 12 oclock sunday (covid). Will use again.

Arrived at this place earlier to carry out the services we provide for various companies across the country.. Met the Landlady, Extremely helpful and polite, Good Sense of Humor too which helps in the situation we're all in a t m.. Slow bar service however was busy. Seemed like under new managment. Remember if you get feet in the door have the team to take thire money

Not bad for a teatime pint or three, especially in the sun. Not a food venue!

A very good Sunday lunch followed by enjoying the FIFA World Cup on their TV. A wide range of drinks are always available. Worth a visit.
