The Sunday roast is the best in the area - especially when paired with a Bloody Mary when feeling a bit hungover. The new manager, Brad, and his partner, Sarah, are really friendly and welcoming people. The pub is less than a five minute walk from Battersea Park - stunning!

Had such a lovely evening here on Sunday! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Enjoyed some lovely food, recommend the Caesar salad and my friend enjoyed her roast! Really nice place , will defo be back again!

Me and my friends requested for our friend to have her baby shower at the Duke of Cambridge. What a brilliant venue! The landlord (Brad) and his wife (Sarah) were brilliant! Highly reccomend. Food was lovely and plenty of drink options! Will be back for sure! :)

Came down to the Duke of Cambridge for a couple pints and I was greeted by a lovely Danielle And Nelson. The staff are very friendly and accommodating! They had a couple new dishes And they were absolutely stunning! From my understanding they have a new general manager and he’s doing a great job! Will definitely be back.

Had such a lovely afternoon here recently, sat in the sunshine drinking Aperols and had some of the tasty bits on the menu. Friendly service from Brad who was knowledgeable and warm. All followed by a lovely walk in the sunshine at Battersea Park, a few minutes walk away. Thank you!!

Came here for a meal for my dad’s birthday as a table of 7. The service was brilliant and the food was excellent. I had the sausage and mash and the portion size was big and everything was delicious. Special shout out to Nelson and Brad for excellent banter and recommendations on both food and wine! 🍷 🍽️

Bri was fantastic! The bartenders name I did not catch but everyone was vey friendly and helpful. Bri helped our table of 5 and was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was alap very patient with us (3 kids). I would definitely come back with everyone. It was a great time here visiting with our kids. Thanks everyone for the special trip memory!

It’s rare to find someone so effortlessly amazing at their job, and Danielle made the day feel special. I’d happily return for both the roast and her stellar hospitality!

I had a fantastic roast lunch at The Duke of Cambridge today. The roast beef was tender and juicy, with a perfect crisp on the outside, and it was served with delicious roasted potatoes, buttery vegetables, and rich gravy. Everything was cooked to perfection, making it a comforting and hearty meal. Our server, Bri and Nelson, was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Bri took the time to explain the specials and made us feel right at home. Her friendly demeanor and excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience. I’ll definitely be back for another roast lunch soon!

Came here SIX times while visiting from Canada, such a cozy atmosphere with great food, and great service, especially from Tereza and Nelson! Can’t wait to come back during our next trip.

Recently visited for a sunday roast and gotta say was the best one ive had. I highly recommend visiting this pub not just for the great food and drinks, but also to experience Tereza's outstanding service firsthand. She’s a true asset to the team and definitely adds a special touch to the entire pub experience. Will be coming back soon.

Nelson is amazing always welcoming and upbeat and works very hard

Amazing vegan roast with non alcoholic cocktails. They have a whole menu of non alcoholic options as well as a gorgeous food menu. Really great space for indoor and outdoor seating in the sun, lovely atmosphere and our servers T, Nelson and Bri were so attentive and checked in on us throughout our meal. Will be coming back for sure!

Came for the Sunday Roast, stayed for the vibes! Brought our friends for the Sunday Roast and it was really lovely - probably the best roast I’ve had in the area. I had the Veg Wellington, my husband had the Chicken and our friends had the beef - only great things to say. We were served by Nelson, Tee and Bri - they were so lovely, made us laugh and were very accommodating to dietary requirements. Finished the roast off with some Aperols in the sun! Perfect Sunday!

Great Sunday lunch (including the dog Sunday lunch bowl), and great staff. What more do you need!

First time visitors, the bar was busy, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We had the Sunday roast which was delicious and plentiful. Next time we are in the area we'll pay them another visit.

Had roast me and my wife, the food was terrible veg was raw and cold , l had veggie wellington which was very small, I've had sausage rolls bigger, did say about it but nothing done. Very poor for price.

We had a really great Sunday Roast. Yorkshire puddings in particular were amazing. Nice pub with a cozy decor.

We booked for new years eve but they had barely any food. Very disappointed as it shows lack of preparation. We were never given the option to pre-order, but other people clearly were as a table arrived after us and ordered food we were told was sold out.

I sat in the Duke of Cambridge tucking into a delectable pork roast and I couldn't help but think about what kind of man the Duke of Cambridge was, and why he decided to set up a pub in Battersea. Mummy had the roast beef.

It was a very quiet Thursday lunchtime - we chose this pub due to the sandwich menu on the website but on arrival were told bar this was not available. I ordered Burrata with rosemary focaccia but the burrata came with plain white bread and no explanation. In the absence of any garnish my whole meal was white! However the bar server was extremely friendly and apart from lack of sandwiches and a white meal this was a nice experience.

A friend of mine recommended this place for Sunday roast and I’m so glad we stopped in. The place is gorgeous, bathrooms clean, and staff is friendly. Loved here the chatting and banter from the regulars. I had the beef and my husband had the trio. Absolutely delicious. And great mulled wine as well.

Roast beef was nothing like the photos on the website, more reminiscent of shop bought machine cut not carved, chewy and tasteless… all in all very disappointing.

A very nice local pub. The food is really excellent for a gastro pub. The fish and chips especially is very nice and always sells out quickly at weekends. They have a nice wine collection which is always a bonus for a pub. The staff are exceptional. Very friendly, welcoming and professional at the same time. They really make you feel welcomed and wanting to visit again.

We had a great family Christmas lunch at the Duke of Cambridge. The team fitted in our group of 20 (plus two dogs) at short notice and did a fabulous job. Very good food, friendly service and happy atmosphere. The event was a great success with all ages, so thank you to whole team

The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was impressively attentive. Our waiter consistently kept us informed about the delays in serving our mains, which were due to a large group, and it was clear they genuinely cared about our experience. One suggestion for improvement: why not prioritise smaller tables, like ours of five, over larger groups to ensure a smoother dining experience for everyone? Despite this, I’d happily return in the future.

We booked the private room for a birthday celebration. In total 10 adults and 9 children under 6. I was impressed how smoothly everything went - the staff was frequently checking up on us if we needed to order anything, were very understanding with the little ones, the food came quickly and was delicious, also there was a great selection for any taste and the atmosphere was amazing (it was extremely helpful to have the room, so we didn't have to chase the kids and they were not bothering other guests). Thank you very much, I very much recommend!

We had an amazing time. Danielle and Theresa looked after us all night, they were amazing! Any wants or needs, and they were there in a flash! We haven’t experienced pub service like that in a long long time and we will 100% be coming back. Make sure to let the two girls know they were amazing

Excellent location for hosting drinks for a large group (including children). The team at the Duke of Cambridge were extremely accommodating (both on the day and in the lead up), the area had lovely comfortable sofas and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

I found it rather mediocre. The prices for the food are overpriced. Not very lovingly prepared. Not enough to really feel full. Maybe we caught the wrong day 🙇

Had a gorgeous afternoon with delicious food at the Duke of Cambridge. The pie and all of its accompaniments were insanely good, and service from Nelson & Dorian was excellent (thanks for the treats for Nala, our pup, too!). Can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for 14 years and have never been here before! Will definitely be back!

We booked a table for 5 for yesterday at 3.15pm having driven from Worcester to meet our children for a family lunch. We arrived on time, eventually got pre drinks and at 3.45 the staff came to take our order. Announced that there are NO roasts left ( beef/pork/chicken) and basically all was left were their £17 burgers! How could they get it soooo wrong!! Avoid being disappointed!

It is always good to come here. It feels like a second home with Nelson welcoming us and talking with our kids. The Sunday roast and the food are great. That’s our weekend spot if we want to eat out.

Excellent food and great surroundings!

Went to watch the England v Netherlands game and ended also having a bite to eat, wonderful staff who helped us have a whale of a time, great food and menu in a gorgeous setting to boot! Highly recommend and looking forward to my next visit!

Good food as always, but had run out of first choice

Visited with a team of 8 people from work after the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge. Despite the sheer number of people at the pub, the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Drink and food service was incredibly swift. Richard and his team should be justifiably proud of the pub.

We celebrated a birthday at the Dukenof Cambridge and everything went so smoothly. Dorian was wonderful. We were allowed to bring our cake! They made the birthday extra special!

It was our first time there and no doubt we will return for a Sunday roast and/or drinks. The food was really good, but service was even better. The Portuguese manage was a delight, and the stuff was very helpful and friendly.
