It's a takeaway but also a tiny Chinese restaurant with a decent selection of dishes. I quite enjoyed the pork dumplings and the salt and pepper king prawns. Inside is a bit sparsely decorated, more utilitarian than luxurious but the lady serving us was friendly. We ordered a pot of green tea with our sit down meal and it was refilled when empty. There's on street parking round the corner. Nice to have something like this local to us.

The food was ok but we were charged 20% more than the prices stated on the website which the owner admitted was 2 years old but refused to repay the excess will not go again

Bland and boring food. Ordered Yeung Chow fried rice with no prawn, and a bland chicken fried rice arrived. I called the restetaunt to ask where the Char Sui pork was.... they said "we don't put pork in our yeung chow". I'm sorry, but it's not a yeung chow friend rice if it doesn't have char sui pork. Just Google the dish. Char sui is the main component. Generally bland and tasteless, wouldn't recommend this place at all

Find time to visit Dream Time. You'll not be disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and full of variety. Just look at the Three Kind Stir Fried Seafood we ordered. It was accompanied with vegetables you don't often see in you local Chinese Takeaway, like Garlic Stems, and Wood Ear Fungus. I believe you can bring your own wine to drink while you enjoy the delicious menu too.

Brilliant food, our go to for take away in Altrincham. Had it numerous times and it's always the same fantastic quality.

Only tried the dumplings so far but they were delicious. Soup dumplings especially. Can’t wait to rerun and try more food. Great service too.

Very tasty, very clean and just awesome staff

I could not recommend this place enough, particularly the dim sum. Living in Altrincham I had seen but never eaten in dream time cafe. My boss recommended it one day as a real hidden gem. We asked for a selection of dim sum and the chefs recommendation for a main to share between two. Everything was superb, particularly the salt and pepper calamari and the soup dumplings. The noodle main was also excellent (can’t remember the name). I don’t normally leave reviews but we were so impressed by this place and the staff. We will now become regulars! Thank you

We had a delicious hot meal here on Friday night - a great way to replenish on good healthy and super tasty meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was cooked to order and served straight from wok to plate to table. Best authentic soup dumplings we have eaten outside China 🤩 For the full experience, eat with chopsticks & bowl & accompanied by a pot of real green tea (none of this tea bag rubbish!)

Been here about 4 times now and I've always been blown away. It's cooked right in front of you, super fresh and delicious. I had the Tom Yum ramen and I've never had chicken so tender! Absolutely recommend it!!

I visited the cafe with my family tonight. Price was reasonable and the food I had was delicious. The owner couple were very friendly. The interior was simple and clean. I will definitely visit the cafe again and recommend this local restaurant for Chinese cuisine.

Really good portions of tasty food, and they do after school meal deals which are great with Wi-Fi and charging. Must recommend

Dream Time Cafe is an absolute must for foodies in Altrincham. Located right opposite Oxford Road Cafe. Dream Time is a Family run Cafe and the owners Sonny and Sarah are lovely people who are clearly passionate about the quality, taste and cleanliness of their food business. Fresh ingredients cooked skilfully in full view is a joy to watch. The cafe is scrupulously clean. I would highly recommended staying in to eat although you can take away also. We have tried the Chicken Hirata buns which were mouth wateringly delicious, The homemade pork dumplings are super tasty as is their crispy Calamari, chicken and prawn Rahmen and the Chow Mein dishes are also amazing. This gem of a place is definitely worth visiting.. you won’t be disappointed!!
