Dragons Chinese in Slough

This chinese in Langley has gone down hill. I ordered for 4 people. The starter was tasteless and it contained no seaweed, they used to give you a free bag of prawn cracker but nothing, their crispy duck was not crispy at all but chewy. We paid over £70

Inedible! Took 2 hours to be delivered, arrived cold and it tasted so bad I threw it away! Several phone calls to the restaurant who said they would refund via Just Eat but haven’t done so!

Food was absolutely awful. We spent £130 on food and not much to show for it. Food was freezing cold, had to wait an hour and a half to collect after being told it would only be 40 mins wait. Food was watery and bland. We were missing items from our order. DO NOT EAT HERE!

**Food Poisoning - Old Food** Entire family fell ill off this food. Delivered stale and old food. Spring rolls and various other items were old and smelt really bad. Now cause food poisoning. Won’t be ordering from here again. This is a food standards issue that will be raised.

Good food Food soups. Good customer services. Probably the best in Berkshire. They don't serve inside takeaway. Also the portions are bit small for the price.

Excellent service. Lovely dishes. Wide range to choose from. 9 months later popped in again for some mixed vegetables soup. Their receipe seems to have changed. The vegetables were almost mushy rather than firm and the soup didn't appear to have their special flavour remembered from last visit ...rather it appear to have a small amount of soya sauce only more for colour rather than taste and no other flavouring. Disappointing.

Always use this takeaway and have been very good customers despite many long wait times and mishaps and now will never order again after the last issue . Absolutely disgusting service never received our order despite calling was just told to complain to just eat , we did that and never received a refund . Really disappointed in this place but now they have lost a very good customer

Always hit and miss with this place. On this occasion the food was way too salty and the noodles were disappointing. The chicken wings on the other hand were very nice and crispy

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I ordered at 6:45pm and they told me food would arrive by 8pm (which is already a very long time). When the food did come, only 3 items out of 7 were there and those 3 items were cold! I rang this place and told them the situation and they were extremely rude to me. After a while they agreed to send the missing items but it is now 2 hours later and nothing has come! I have tried to ring them for the last hour and it always says User Busy! They have stolen my money and done it with no shame! Do not order or eat from here

Hot and sour soup without shrimps

Google ad said they were open until 10pm, downloaded their app, placed order, paid for order with debit card including admin charge of 60p, drove to shop to collect only to find it all in darkness and shutters down!!!!! Not a great evening, app did offer a choice of delivery times, good job I didn't go for that option.

Ordered a takeaway & waited almost an hour for the food in the shop. Kept getting told sorry it’s getting cooked, but when you’re waiting to eat on an evening along with your guests it’s just not good enough. It’s unbelievable and they offered free prawn crackers…what a joke!

For starters, the prices outside are wrong and they don't bother fixing it. Second the chicken wings were absolutely disgusting. The entire wing was breading with no meat and the spring rolls are tiny, as well as completely burning. Not only that, it took over 15 minutes when the place was empty. Don't go here unless you want to waste your money!

It's amazing an hour and a half wait for food this ain't even cooked properly, you would think they would spend atleast a quarter of that time cooking the food to a good standard but I guess not 😅

Poor imitation of the old Chinese takeaway with was there before . Food have no taste and its hard to find any vegetables..

Ordered take out from here for both lunch and dinner based on leaflets that were in our mailbox, just a day prior to that. Opted in to give the place a try as they had a promo that said 20% off if we pay by cash and 10% if paid by card and if your order value went above 50 quid, you'd get a 1.5 ltr bottle of Pepsi and the Crackers complimentary. We placed the order over the phone and when I asked for the total we needed to pay, the gentleman quoted an amount that was below the 20% discount, I clarified to him we'd pay by cash to avail of the offer but he turned back an said that we were probably looking at an old deal. I let him know that we received the leaflet just a day earlier and there's no way, it was an expired/old deal. He went on to say, that he can't give us the offer and the drink as we weren't above £50. But, our total prior to the discount was £60 odd and after discount was about £41. All in all, horrible experience! Food was way below par and they tried every method under the sun to avoid giving you the deal, which they offered. I'd stay away from such a place.

We tried Veg chowmein and it is good in taste and price

Not as good as it used to be. Food was very oily and came very late and was cold and portions not complete. We ordered from here a lot before but slowly the quality has gone down and getting worse. We will not order from here again..

I ordered 3 dishes and had to wait nearly 2 hours for delivery, the guy on the phone could hardly speak English straight and saying there are bizy. Even being being bizy it does not take 2 hours to cook and delivery 3 simple dishes. This take away needs to be closed down.

placed order back in January still waiting for it now 6 months later was told my order would be an hour then i called back hour half later to be told my order is on its way to me am still waiting to this day even i called the shop there phone was just ringing they knew my number and ignored me so i used my friends phone they answered and when i told them who i was still waiting for my order they said i call you back i find out where your delivery is but no one ever got back to me so i can't even say how the food tasted as i never got to try it and this was my first time ordering from this takeaway

Ordered a quick Chinese. And boy was it tasty. Fresh, flavoursome and moreish. Well done definitely will be returning.

Took 1 hr 15 min to arrive. All the food was bad. chicken wings tasted like they were made yesterday, Thai green curry with lb tasted bad, chow mein was over cooked. I wouldn't order again They get 2 stars because the bubble tea was alright

Cheap and cheerful. Its maybe not fine dining for a special occasion but its very good value and the current proprietors seem decent . 3 quid for a massive portion of perfectly acceptable noodles and can of pop - cant argue with that for a tasty cooked lunch with easy parking. Halal focussed so plenty spice but no pork or booze to be had.

Imagine placing an order at 6:45 and receiving at 9:30. Yeah that’s frequent with this place if you’re starving I’d recommend you to avoid but if you want to eat between an hour or 2 later ideal but with that principal you might as well use a slow cooker but in all fairness there food taste good.

We tried Dragons Chinese for the first time. Food came piping hot, the food was delicious and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend.

Worst Chinese in Slough. It used to be owned by someone else but now it’s changed hands it doesn’t even do pork ribs as it is halal. The taste is so off too. Like everything tastes like supermarket packet sauce.

Terrible food. I'm not fussy but every dish had a problem even the hoi sin sauce was watered down. Pancakes stuck together because you over done them in the microwave. Veg dishes had chicken in them. Crispy duck was looked the part but was taste less and made it worse cause the pancakes were stuck together. Pathetic onions and cucumber that you don't even know how to cut. Your reviews must be fake or your service has gone down very recently. Your food that cost £45 went straight in the bin. Your chef cannot cook the dishes I ordered. I have pictures and can post them. Thank you for wasting my time and money.

THOROUGHLY enjoyed my food and I am extremely fussy. The Mongolian lamb, chow meins and citrus are amazing! So glad I’ve found a GOOD local Chinese!

I loved Dragon's food but recently quality has gone down; chicken was not fresh and also lacking in flavour. Good customer service though.

Nice food but today was the 2nd time that some items of the order was missing. They do deliver the missing items but not until a hour later and then its not wanted as the rest of the food has been eaten.

Really yummy food. The Singapore vermicelli noodles are so spicy and delicious! Everything tasted fresh and it was on time. We ordered via just eat. Only let down was the chicken balls because they were dry af. But I’d still order from there!

Ordered some prawn dumplings and these were fresh,delicious, well cooked and quality was very good. Dumplings 🥟 seemed a little small but trust me these were really good. I recommend it 👍🏼👌🏼

Awful service. My order was 1 hour late through Just Eat. The restaurant wasn't accepting calls - telephone line was engaged for the duration of that hour, so it seemed like they'd taken the telephone off the hook. I couldn't get an update on the order or know if it was coming. The driver blamed the late delivery on traffic...But the restaurant is located 5 miles away from me.

Awful service took 1hr and 20 minutes for food to be delivered via Just Eat. To top that off, food was missing and waited for another 1hr 30mins for delivery.

Do not reccomend there boba at all tasted very weird the straw was paper so it couldn't even go in the drink I did not like the boba pearls made my stomach hurt after having it

Wow it was my first time getting food from them and luckily it wasn’t a Disappointment. It’s value for money and the portions are very generous . The staff were kind too ,definitely recommend this place ,:)

I was staying in a nearby hotel and decided to order a delivery from here. Delivery was quick and the food was piping hot. Salt and pepper chicken followed by a House special Chow Mein. The food was very good and tasty and worthy of a higher rated establishment.

Jokers I called to make an order straight away was told no card payments, I was then told that they are only taking cash payments by delivery and if I want to pay by card I would need to order from Just Eat, so I go all the way to the cash point after waiting an hour a Just Eat driver turns up with a crusty looking delivery bag. My chowmein tasted burnt, be aware. NEVER EVER AGAIN...... MINUS -1 STAR

I used this restaurant for Chinese New year and everything was perfect, I fully recommend this place

99% of the time the food has been very good here. Once we weren't so impressed but this has been a one off so far. Good food, good value and good quantities!

So where do I start, Card machine is never working funny that so cash only which is fine but when the price your paying for the same order each time keeps going up and down you start to think you might be getting ripped off, order has been wrong so many times because they only seem to bothered with Uber eats. no Covid rules seem to apply as you walk in to collect your food your greeted with all the delivery drivers standing in the shop trying to keep warm, they seem too busy and understaffed which then leads to poor food and extremely poor service such a shame as it was my local and walking distance

Out of date chicken made us eat them food i wouldn't recommend anyone to go there I swear I'm not lying if they say halal its not i never tasted chicken like that in my life god help me next time im not repeating this place again

5 Star food, service and delivery.

Extremely disappointing. The Kung Po had way too much vinegar, it was all I could taste. The Pad Thai was alright but a large piece of fish was found inside, I don't eat meat so all my dishes were order as Vegi. The Pad Ga Pro was good, lots of flavour but unfortunately also had a large piece of fish inside. The green curry was ok too and luckily no fish in this one. Overall very bland food, over powered with soy sauce and just a bit lazy to be honest.

Disgusting, I wanted to impress my girlfriend with a chinese takeaway night. Now she is worried for tomorrow morning. Absolutely vile food, my pad thai had rotten broccoli inside it, and my egg fried rice was grey. Anyone reading this, never order from here!

I love this restaurant a lot. It has a very nice mood. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is dynamic and the crew is polite. The price is fair. profoundly recommend.

Least nights meal turned up quickly after being ordered. The main component - Singapore Chow Mein was cold. Stupidly I warmed it up in the microwave rather than send it back. Today my stomach is telling I should have returned my meal or binned it. My meal wasnt cold because delivery was delayed. Delivery was very quick. I suspect it was cold because it had been made previously, refrigerated, and then warmed up in the microwave before cooking again. A no-no really with prawns and chicken. I do actually like Dragons and previously this review was positive. I wont risk it again.

Tried to get a refund from uber eats but no reply. My whole order was inedible. Egg fried rice was grey. Pad thai was a big grey greasy mess and the chicken inside the chicken balls was so hard I couldn't cut it. All went in the bin!

Friendly & helpful staff, yummy food, which tasted authentic and fresh. Variety of choices of food on their menu, from halal and vegetarian. Will be coming back for the mixed starter and the spicy Thai chow mein. :)

Ordered for the First time tonight, I must be getting older or their portions are really generous as we found it a job to get through the meal for two. I might well give it that 5th Star next time, but for now it a pretty big Well Done.

Awful food. Me and my partner have been left worst for wear the next day after consuming gloopy curries, dry fried rice and mostly batter rubbery squid. The curries tasted like they were frozen and heated up, hence the gloopy texture and brown vegetables. Nothing tasted fresh! I will not be ordering from here again! I have no idea how it has so many good reviews.

What a waste of money. I had to throw away. Satay chicken dry and sauce is tasteless and oily. Didn’t taste a bit of peanut. Spring rolls greasy & tasteless. The sweet chilli sauce that come with them was nice. Duck was dry and sauce was just oil with a thick blob of something. Cucumber and spring onion were rubbery and clearly not fresh. Sweet and sour chicken was runny, greasy and tasteless. That’s a waste of money 😏

Order from here on Saturday spent over £50.00 and the Chicken Satay had no taste watery peanut sauce. the prawn and squid was full of salt and lots of onions and as for curry all I could see was the oil swimming on top I could make better myself. Noodles they just put loads of chilli no other seasoning bland food tasteless unless you like your mouth to be on fire. Will not be ordering from here again staying clear of this place. What a waste of money that was wouldn’t even feed a dog with it. Binned the lot! They shouldn’t call themselves Chinese or Thai!

Just ordered on just eat, delivery was spot on but order was wrong. Ordered quarter of duck got no cucumber or onion or hoy sin sauce. Asked for two bags of prawn crackers, we got one bag split into two bags. Tried ringing but got no answer. Not really good enough when the duck is £8.99 and crackers are £1.70 a bag. Won’t use them again .🤬🤬🤬

This was surprisingly good. Big portion sizes and free crackers and drink. Really liked the salt and pepper squid and prawns. Rice could have been a little better and the smoked chicken was a little overdone however the mains of sweet and sour chicken and beef in black bean sauce were both very tasty.

Delivery was 25 minutes late. Wasn't the best meal not the worst either. Satay chicken was awful, rice wasn't the best and crispy chilli beef wasn't great. Beef in black bean sauce was lovely, salt and pepper chicken v tasty. Hope it improves but, fairplay for staying open
