Dr Feelgood in Stockport

Absolutely Brill food, drink, music, staff and atmosphere. But made the mistake on visiting here before another event...unfortunately we stank of fried food for the remainder of the evening. Upon arriving we entered a smoke filled room, the smell then stuck with us where ever we went. The place desperately needs a proper extractor/filter installing.

Good place with good staff and music, just a shame the food took forever. We got in there and ordered and the food took 90 minutes to get to us. It was not that busy with people eating. I appreciate they do takeaway food orders so it does add to the wait, but what about burger and fries takes so long!?

Unfortunately we dropped in on Comedy night and a;l the tables seemed to be reserved. But only wanting to eat without laughing we managed to share a table ok. Staff were short on the ground but we quickly figured out that we had to order food on line which is fine. The queue for beer not so fine. I liked the customised burger approach on the standard offering and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had for a wee while. Be aware that they do two small patties and not a l single large rare one as you might get elsewhere. Overall, apart from the wait as delivery orders were filled, the delivery was fine. And the food when it came absolutely brilliant. Looks as if we’ll be back.

The staff were rude and judged us, the quiz was good, drinks over priced and they really need to update that they don’t do food anymore as we expected it as I’ve literally advertised all over the windows

This place used to be a little gem but if you are anything but a man or quiet victorian woman you wont have a good time. if you are a woman who laughs or smiled the manager will insist you are aggressively drunk (I’m not being funny, 1 drink in and an adult nothern woman, I’d been to a baby shower!) and isist you leave. When you explain to him that you were liturally just laughing he will get in your face and use phrases like ‘love’ and ‘darling’ to belittle you in an absolute sausage fest of a bin.

Popped in on a whim and very glad that we did. Needed a bite to eat and a drink. Chicken burgers were fantastic! Quick and friendly service from the bar and kitchen. We will return and spend longer next time.

I love this place, great quality food, great atmosphere and some great event nights. family friendly through the day. Staff are warm friendly and professional. I highly recommend the Limp Brisket!

Nothing in stockport can touch this place at the moment its a great venue for a great night out on the right night it can be a wild one! food is good! Good selection of beers nice staff, This bar is what it is a great place to hang out with friends, Dogs and kids are welcome (Obviously kids early doors only), Oh if you are a fussy little petal and you don't like average priced good beer only looking for cheap seat beer there is a Wetherspoons around the corner!

Pls seriously just stop making food and selling beers. Hospitality not suited to u pal no hard feelings ur crap

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Not many in and therefore little atmosphere. Probably a better night time venue for music. Beer prices too high. Unlikely to return.

Good venue. Good menu. Good management. Stockport has been waiting for this bar, and it has delivered!
