DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh - Queensferry Crossing in Fife

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and honestly, it was a really pleasant experience. The location is great, with a beautiful view of the Queensferry Bridge, plus the bed was super comfy and the room was really clean. The hotel staff were polite and professional, and the restaurant was decent. It could’ve been better, sure, but that doesn’t mean it was bad. If you’re planning to explore the beautiful parts of Scotland—especially Edinburgh—but don’t want to stay right in the middle of all the noise and crowds, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

WoW what a hidden gem this is. We went for my daughters surprise birthday and wasn't disappointed. From free parking to a wonderful well sign posted entrance and a warm welcome into the restaurant. Nothing was too much bother. We had the mixed bread and olive board for starters and had to get another one as it was so good, the butter wonderful and we are still talking about it! There was a slight mix up with our steak order but was dealt without a 'fuss' by Megan our server in a very professional way. My Ceasor Salad was the best I've had in a long time. Unfortunately we had no room left for deserts due to over indulgence with the bread and butter! The bar staff were very good and professional as well and enjoyed the recommendation of cider.

Went for dessert and coffee on Easter Sunday. The kids got little Easter treat bags and colouring sheets which was a lovely touch. The restaurant has stunning views, modern decor, friendly staff and delicious food. Would definitely recommend.

It is a bit far from Edinburgh City centre. But a good break from the city. Amazing views and walking trails nearby. I loved the room, spacious well lit and good shower. Got many necessary toiletries and storage. Fridge and safe for valuable items. There's a gym and available 24h Good breakfast

Getting a bit tired and needing some refurbishments. Hot water for showers is not that hot and aircon not up to scratch

A fantastic hotel, great position and the staff are outstanding, however, some rooms have smelt of cigarette smoke, be that that someone staying had smoked or a room service operative may be a smoker, but nether the less, we were moved within minutes.

Popped in for afternoon tea. Good view, good service. The table was either unclean or the varnish was melting due to being in direct sun

Problems with the booking, it was impossible to get through, after I checked out of the room immediately the next night, money of £390 was withdrawn from my account and I did not receive a refund

The hotel is beautiful with many views, very good service and rooms, the only bad thing is that it is far from Edinburgh, there are good connections but it is far away, 30 minutes by car.

Shore restaurant on Friday evening had myself nearly in tears. Went for overnight stay as going through cancer treatment. Ordered beef burgeon as friers broke so no fish chips. Received little mash with 2pieces meat on top full of gristle sent back asking for shepherds pie like husband he was finished his and girl was taken back. I still hadn’t received food had to ask second time as table who arrived after my food sent back was served as said was nearly in tears waiting like I did no sore take of your bill like other restaurant would. Also in corridor 1st floor going along to gym and lifts the smell half way along of damp made me feel sick as my system isn’t good. If don’t hear anything regarding my review won’t be back and I’ve been coming for over 10yrs

Went to restaurant, only nasic sandwiches which were no better than two slices of Warburton white bread, some sainsbury cheddar and brands tonight pickle, £13 for one slice of bread 1/4 avocado and browned salmon....... could not get out fast enough.

Visit regularly good menu and quality food. Great views. Worth a visit

Booked last minute after a snafu with my Airbnb. Quick and efficient they had a king sized room available. Everything was pristine and the rain shower was wonderful after all the traveling. What I would expect from a Hilton. For the area and last minute pricing not bad.

Stopped in for coffee to take in the view of the bridges. Staff were very attentive excellent customer service. The facilities looked perfect for a wedding or similar celebration.

Excellent option for those who want to stay in a common location between Edinburgh and Dunfermline.

Great views from the hotel, but the hotel is a bit isolated from other amenities.

Rooms are nice and clean no doubt in that But what a rubbish service room charges are 966 for 3 nights they tried to take 1100 something I refused And paid on reception 966 for the room Now when I tried to order food paying them for the food no they want to charge me extra authorisation for nothing I have never seen such a bad service by any Hilton branch at all And yes they left me without ordering and didn’t let me order food because I didn’t wanted to make them extra payment for hold for nothing 2) when ordering tea bags they said we only give on arrival wait any hotel leaves enough tea bags for 3 nights stay not just 2 Last time in this branch absolutely rubbish service
