Dorchester Market Cafe in West Dorset

We heard that this place had been taken over, and we thought we would give it a try. We were glad we did. The staff were friendly, the service was quick and the food was very good. It was very clean and very reasonably priced, we could not fault it at all, will definitely return.

We finally took the opportunity to visit Dorchester Market Cafe after hearing good reviews. We were not disappointed, order efficiently taken at the counter, one market breakfast, one standard breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast without the veggie sausage for me. I wasn’t aware the veggie breakfast came with two eggs so requested another egg in place of the veggie sausage. All our breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, accompanied by really nice coffees too. The Dorchester Market Cafe is spotlessly clean, the service fabulous and we will return again soon. I pinched the black pudding from the market breakfast to enhance my veggie breakfast in the photo.

THE BEST cafe in Dorchester you simply couldn’t tell me otherwise. Food is just incredible and tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. If I could rate this cafe 6 stars then I would. I recommend this cafe to everyone and anyone in Dorchester looking to get some good food which is also very well priced. Fully loaded English breakfast torpedo £5.50?! How can you say no?!

We had avocado on toast with poached eggs and vegetarian breakfast. Well cooked and presented and good price. Very nice customer service. Would recommend. Also open early

The breakfast roll I had was so tasty! You can tell the family who owns this care a lot about the food they serve and their cafe. The waitress was very accommodating and let me swap items around. Lovely people. Clean setting. Would definitely go again! 💖

Perfectly cooked breakfasts and good coffee in this welcoming little place. It looks clean and well run and was busy on the Sunday we visited. Helpfully, staff put out a sign showing expected wait for food. Prices were very keen, too. I would go more often - pity I live 270 miles away!

Visited this cafe for the second time and what can i say. The service was perfect, happy smilling staff. Very attentative and nothing is to much trouble. Had the market breakfast, cooked perfectly washed down with the best caramel latte. Will defently be back

My friends and I came here for breakfast on May bank holiday Saturday. I cannot praise this place enough! I had a torpedo breakfast roll, which was incredible and great value for money. Big shoutout to the chef! The service was great as well, the lovely lady working made sure everything was okay with our breakfast and went above and beyond for us. This was my first time here , but I will 100% be back!
