Two storey bar, but just a little underwhelming for me on this visit. Cask ales for me were poor, keg bar on the first floor and dog friendly. But saying this, best bar out of the 5 I visited on this day in Donny. Will try again though when in town.

Family business always has a different environment and atmosphere. Feel at home. The couple is amazing as hosts. The beers are excellent, for every taste. I hope to keep it this way, it's an oasis in the middle of noisy pubs. God bless you all.

Fabulous brewery tap in the centre of town serving ales from the Doncaster brewery, along with a range of real ciders. The Doncaster Brewery - Sand House (3.8%) was really refreshing on this hot Saturday afternoon. Well supported by friendly locals, this bar shows a few old photos of Doncaster's past. Definatly worth a visit if you're in town, I will be visiting again 👍

Had a super time today here. New beers to try , friendly and unplugged open music session started at 1 pm. Will definitely be going back. Favourite beer Stacks on Stacks, expensive but so delicious and very strong 13.5% . Take a look at their FB page.

Specialises in locally crafted beers. Regularly hosts events such as folk music, foreign language practice, and seasonal drink specials. A favourite with locals. Recently added a disabled bathroom. Food served only during special events. A cheese and nibbles buffet every Sunday that regulars bring further offerings to enjoy together.

I've put five stars for food as I'm sure beer is classed as food. What an amazing place. It's the perfect size, and the atmosphere is great. Both nights I visited, it was fairly busy. Never had any beer from Doncaster Brewery before; the Aviation is wonderful. All I can say is that the brewery tap is perfect in every way. I look forward to coming back.

Great day out at the Tap's Imperial Stout Festival. A great day out in January and nobody else is doing this as far as I know. Well worth a visit.

This pub served 4 hanpumped mostly home brewed beers on and 6 handpumped ciders This i roomed friendly locals pub is full of friendly locals and the staff were friendly and good at their jobs This place is an essential visit when in Doncaster to drink real local beers ** today been christmas a man had his beard trimmed up

Love this place mainly for its range of beers and ciders. Not so keen on the upstairs bar which is usually dark, but often buy drinks there and take them downstairs.

The atmosphere is amazing I was blown away by the ciders. Such a welcoming and open client base. The kind of bar that you can walk into alone and leave with many friends. Wonderful selection of gluten free options.

We were looking forward to going there but ended up disappointed. Looked like a café from the outside, not a bar. No atmosphere inside and seemed like a clicky place. The ciders didn't blow us away. Won't be going back.

Slightly disappointed to find the Brewery Tap had only two of their beers on sale; they had more guest ciders. Madge had her first ever beer from Doncaster brewery. Very nice. The bar sits in a redevelopment area just out of the centre. We entered through the back past the brewing gear. A live acoustic duo were playing. There is another room upstairs for overspill next to the bogs. Sat at back by the car park.

Bought a bottle of Sand House Blonde on my travels into the city centre, what an Ale that is! Great flavour smooth as you like, the pub is a real pub in my opinion, just as you’d expect, the smell of the ale being made is fantastic too.

Possibly the best Brewery Tap in Yorkshire. With such a large range of beers and ciders to put any larger venues to shame. Ian Blaylock and Alison his fantastic wife make it such a warm welcoming venue. With lots of events weekly it really has something for everyone.

Lovely little brew pub, had a couple of pints of their own Simcoe, great session pale, kept right and at my preferred temp. Thought my other half had a floater in her cider but was told it's natural from the bag and was replaced without quarrel. Would highly recommend. Thankyou.

Although not a regular whenever out for drinks this is must visit. Great cask beers, and for those who like cider plenty of those on offer. I can't believe that it has been open 10 years. Fabulous place which has a number of special events and activities through the year.

Local brewery serving a range of their own and guest ales, offering drinks by the third, half or pint. Knowledgeable and helpful staff in hand to help you choose, where you can also try, and with a real enthusiasm and passion for the beer. Take away bottles and cans are also available for purchase, and a range of literature around beer on site to flick through whilst enjoying your pint

An excellent choice of ales in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We had the pub singing along to the ukulele and being from Wigan a bit of George Formby was demanded, and duly played.

A wonderful community pub, with amazing cask and keg beer (some of the cask brewed on site) and cider, a wide national and international bottle and can range pretty good gin selection and friendly, talkative staff and customers. All the lines and glasses are cleaned regularly and the cellar is well looked after. There is also a range of non-alcoholic drinks, ranging from alcohol free beer, fizzy drinks, and coffee's, with an oat milk option.

I've seen it better, but still friendly.

Great place. Easy to follow outdoor and (small) indoor distancing in place. Friendly, knowledge staff. Excellent range of beers, ciders, gins and wine.

25th May 2021 They've been open for a week now indoors. You have to enter via the back door so the tables can stay socially distanced indoors. Check in via the NHSApp of leave Alison your details. They have 2 large TV's on the wall so you can see what's on tap, it's linked to Untappd so you can see from the comfort of your own home what they have on tap. 13th April 2021 Doncaster brewery was open yesterday. I had a swift pint :-) They are open until 8pm until it gets warmer. Cash or card both accepted. Previous review... Small but homey place. 5 or 6 of their own beers on hand-pump and another 7 or so guest hand-pumps. Decent bottle selection. Definitely worth a visit if in Donny.

What a gem of a find. Good beer, no excellent beer. You can hold conversations just a really good place. If it had a fault seating was not that comfy. Give it a try.

Cosy bar converted from a shop unit a number of years ago. Not a traditional pub atmosphere because of this but the warm crowd of regulars offers something different to the anonymity of most pubs today. Initially offering a wide but almost exclusively Cask/Real Ale selection, the Keg/Craft choice has expanded dramatically recently to provide the best beer choice in the town. Not only that but also a draft German Kolsch lager & a extensive range of Craft cans & bottles.
