We recently discovered this place was only round the corner from our house and we are annoyed it took us so long to try it. By far one of the best restaurants in Streatham and some of the best pizza in London. The pizza is so fresh and tasty and the Aperol spritz is better than most I had while travelling the Amalfi coast. Since finding we've been back almost every week.

Now this is an unexpected gem in Streatham. Delicious authentic & quality pizza with a variety of options. Up there with top tier in London. Lovely decor, great services and prices about average. They do some good deals during the week too which is worth checking out.

We've been a few times since their opening. Light, crispy pizzas - even my Italian friend was swayed. Loved the meaty and spicy Diavola but the fresh and tasty ingredients of the Capricciosa is what will keep me coming, together with the specialty pizzas. Great wine, lovely team. Best pizzas in South London!

I have been several times to eat there, good sandwiches even if a little small, the squid fry, poor in squid but full of salad! maybe sell some good bottle of wine, also sold by the glass would be a good idea!

Nice food but for seven quid I'd want more than six tiny skewers and a small slice of sourdough cut in half (and for thirteen I'd definitely want a lot more than they're offering). The prices in Pop Brixton are generally pretty mischievous as this place gets increasingly overcrowded but Don Luigi is up there with the p1$$taking. When they list the salt as part of the ingredients, you know you're in for a fleecing.

I took my cousin and her friends who were over from the States to Don Luigi. They loved the whole Brixton Pop experience. We were all blown away by the best arrosticini we have had outide Abruzzo where our nonni were born. The fried calamari was crispy and light, the sandwiches and burrata to die for. The new addition to the menu - arrancini were equally yummy. There was no porchetta the night we were there so I will have to go back for that! Lovely prosecco to go with our fabulous meal.

The ‘Rick and Morty’ focaccia was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t really focaccia - it was soggy and not crispy or olive oily/salted/ no rosemary. For £9 I would expect more. I think it would work better if it was proper focaccia with burrata and less mortadella on top. Perhaps a little tomato or rocket... The amount of mortadella is very overbearing and meant you couldn’t taste the burrata. More like a cream cheese and ham roll / burger...

The arrosticini are a staple of this place, not to be missed! It's a small corner of Italy in Brixton, basically, with some unmissable specialties. Today the music they played made me stay for a long nostalgic singalong. Full marks, guys! ❤️

There menu is super simple - maybe 6-7 dishes in total, but every single one of them is simply one of the best thing you’ll ever eat! I don’t eat meat so I alternate between calamari sandwich and calamari portions with a side bread and honestly, it’s impossible to decide which one is better! I brought most of my friends here too to try it out and they all confirm my review! Those who eat meat, swear by the pork sandwich! So whichever option you go for, you are in for a massive culinary treat!

Arrosticini are typical mutton or lamb skewers from the Italian region of Abruzzo that I personally love. So I couldn't believe where I found someone making them in my neighborhood. Don Luigi's arrosticini are simply amazing. They're a bit overpriced though, in my personal opinion.

I've been there many times as a vegetarian and their food taste just like Italy!! The owners are very helpful and open minded, they are introducing vegan options and I can't wait to try them. I'm sure their chefs skill will bring me back home once again but this time completely blood free!! Hoping they will go fully vegan with a vegan arrosticino dish!! 😊

I was driving on the red route when a classic migraine hit - we parked up and there across the road was the Jamyang cafe. Tea and toasties and friendly service saw us back on the road.
