Domino's Pizza - Torquay - Sea Front in Torbay

ordered and collected was waiting ages for someone to.acknowledge I was there even though they could see me they just ignored . the app on my phone said ready for colle tion. eventually someone gave me my pizza . but itvwas wrong order and nearly cold

Had delivery. Arrived well on time, taste and packaging spot on. No complaints.

Ordered 2 9" pizzas on the buy one get one free . How on earth is 2 tiny pizzas £22 on bogof? First and last time going to domino's.

Ordered food and it gave me and my partner food poisoning the next day and the manager ‘ shaun’ is refusing to deal with the complaint such poor customer service and food hygiene.

Rude staff and pizzas are out of date lidl value range by the taste. Never again.

My order arrived with the wrong items, delivery driver took this back and said they'd return in 5 minutes with our correct order, this was not delivered. I tried to contact the store multiple times after 30 minutes waiting for the delivery, when my call was eventually answered I was informed this was out for delivery, I called again after 30 minutes as my order hadn't arrived despite the store being a few minutes from my location. I was informed that the order wasn't coming as the delivery driver hadn't passed on the message and that if I wanted a replacement to be sent, I'd be waiting another hour which given the situation was completely unacceptable (and the store was literally round the corner from my Iocation) had no choice but to cancel this which the store was unsympathetic about. Really poor experience all round, very disappointed and still no genuine apology!

Pizza was burnt in places and a little under cooked

So much cheese. Was actually impossible to pick up a slice because the swamp like cheese had leaked into the dough so much. Dominos never seem to get it right. When the dough is thin, please don't add as much as you would for a thicker base. It was absolutely disgusting. Don't order from here. Even if you like cheese the presentation was awful. Had better pizzas literally anywhere else.

Went in ordered a small margaritah pizza for the name owen (spoke clearly) then when th3y called the order out we were given the complete wrong order and didnt realise until we got back home as we didnt want it to get cold how in the world do you get a margharita pizza mixed with a meat feast wirh mushrroms etc .. its now gone in the bin it was so so greasy too will never come here again... staff need to listen more carefully and double check.orders

Pizza perfect as usual! Not enough space to dine in. Upstairs closed so people were eating on the floor, on the window and just outside....

Fantastic!! Went here after watching a concert at the Princess theatre the staff were fantastic the pizza was amazing 1st time for domineos and it didn't disappoint Thank you!!!

Front door stuck. No card facilities. No cash.

Not my favourite dominos by far. The food was out quickly, it was nice. Tables needed a wipe down, and the front door kept blowing open, it was windy and cold.

Awful!!!!! My pizza arrived half cooked basically raw dough. Make matters worse the pizza wasn’t even cut. I phoned up to be laughed at down the phone. These people need to be sacked on the spot for putting peoples health at Risk. DO NOT ORDER!!! Complete waste of money.

Wish I read the reviews first before ordering from here. Pizza was not cooked properly and was such a mess to eat. I contacted them to get a refund and they won't do it as I didn't take the pizza back. I'm not from Torquay so how could I do that? Usually they give a voucher but they wouldn't even do that. Useless "customer service". Avoid this particular dominos!!!

Avoid this branch Zero customer service. My son ordered his pizza on the app and was advised it would take 50 minutes. Over 2 hours later still waiting for order to be delivered. Called the branch and was advised that time was just a guide and it would be cooked soon. Said no longer wanted order as had taken so long and still not made. Spoke to the manager she wouldn’t offer any discount and said I’d have to wait up to 3 days for refund to be processed. Taking money for food they never delivered or made and I’ve got to wait up to 3 days. Absolutely appalling way to treat customers. Just want to take your money and don’t care about anything else.

Only 1 star cause the last time we bought from here we got food poisoning:( any other time has been spot on but because of that we have been put off

Dominos pizza food is usually nice it just depends on the one you go to and unfortunately the only one that delivers to me is this one. I have had multiple problems with this one delivering cold pizza before and pizza that has been doused in sauce I've even had doughballs delivered before with no cheese? I know they aren't supposed to be like this because I have had them before. After contacting them about the issue they say I can't have a refund as I threw the food out! I don't recomend and they really need to sort out their customer service skills or hire new people

Order from here tonight to treat ourselves for our anniversary and parts of our order was missing, when we rang up they told us someone would be out asap. Almost half an hour later we called back asking where the food was as the rest of our food had now gone cold and the manager was rude as hell and said it was still there but someone would be out soon and he would not refund our order as only part of it was missing! Will never come to this store again. Absolute joke

Appalling customer service. The wrong ice cream was delivered. When I phoned and spoke to the manager he said, “The ice cream you ordered was out of stock. I will not be refunding the items.” When only one type of ice cream will do for picky eaters, the minimum I expect is the courtesy of a phone call asking if I want to pay £13.98 for something nobody will eat. It had melted by the time I called him and I’d thrown it in the bin. But apart from the foil being removed, the ice cream was intact. He said I’d not be refunded because I’d placed it in the bin?!?!?! Not good enough. I will not be ordering from here again. Rude manager with zero education in customer service.

Arrived at the torquay store to be informed the card payment machine was broken?? If we wanted to order we needed to do it via the app no Internet signal and also for some reason the Web site does not take payment via pay pal not impressed I would not waste your time coming here

Terrible and Dishonest Ordered pizza from this location on many occasions and this is the last straw. Never will I be fooled again. Not only do they skimp on ingredients even when you pay for extra but then they deny they made any mistake and refuse to resolve the situation. Even when you complain to head office they do nothing. There are so many better locations and competitors to choose from. Don't waste your money at Domino's - Torquay Seafront!

Awful service. Always having to call with errors made or poor quality. Tonight's order we asked for 14 wings and had a 12 piece chicken mix arrive. The double deccedence pizzas were so dry in the middle where cheese should be. Called up and got passed to a shift runner and heard the guy say "Now they are moaning about the cheese". Sorry we paid extra to have it in there and would have been better to say customer has a complaint not say customer is MOANING. Think there must be a cheese shortage in this branch as not the first time this has happened, it's not so much what happened but how they handle the issue which is awful. Driver brought the replacements and took away the old pizza and refused to give the name of the person on the phone and the shift runner If you want Dominos then order from the St Marychurch branch instead as will give better service and quality.

I've visited a few times during the day, mostly weekends. Even though I've never seen more than 2 staff in, wait times have been very fair, service is great and met all expectations

We just has delivered a family pizza night from Dominoes on Torquay seafront. This is the first time we've used Dominoes on the seafront and they were all excellent. Hands down better than pizza hut and probably the best we've had from any Dominoes ever.

2300 at night & the service was quick, efficient & friendly, the pizza was 1st class.

Friendly staff. Great range of products and prompt service. Only collected, nice wait.

This is my second/ updated review, you've moved up one star, however what a mess that pizza was, just over 12 inches, when it was supposed to be 13.5 and looked messy. I'm glad I got it on a deal and didn't pay full piece....

When it comes to Domino's this is the last I would expect from a worldwide Pizza Corporation company. Overcooked, dry crusty shrivelled shrunk Pizza with minimal toppings. From earlier this year they no longer do the extra large Pizzas anymore but still charge the same price for a large Pizza of the so called special offer of £22:00 for two Pizzas. Also my friend had the same size pizza in the same size box & my pizza had shrunk to a medium sized pizza. My pizza was also not a regular circular shape either & the pizza did not even touch the sides of the delivery box. I am also disgusted that the so called manager says they cannot do me any kind of embursment what so ever because I did not open the pizza at my front door before the delivery dispatcher had left my front door. Considering my friend paid by her card & I paid my friend in cash for the Pizza was also a bit of a pain also Anything which becomes more of an issue after this complaint will be dealt with too via authorities & the law.

Found a black curly hair clearly baked into pizza which put everyone off and rest ended up in the bin. Contacted the store and was given a non existent email address, no ownership or apology. Save your money horrible bland pizzas

Lovely pizza, cooked to order so obviously have to wait a bit, tables upstairs and down. I had a vegetable pizza and wedges.

Very disappointed. Haven't had dominoes in so long. Had my daughter and grandson over as haven't seen them in a long time as I've been isolating. Made an order for 6pm..I watched the domino's driver go past me . Expected them to turn around but no ..at 7 I rang them to be told the driver had returned the order as there was no answer. Blatant lie as my door had been open all afternoon.The order turned up eventually but was freezing cold and not what we had ordered. My daughter rang the shop to be told they would send out a fresh order. At 8.30 we still hadn't eaten and still no food. Ended up reheating what we had in the micro so my grandson had something to eat. Very disappointed and doubt will use again.

Waited 1hr 30, for a cold pizza. Worst customer service ever, no offer of refund. Just "we'll only offer a refund if you return the cold pizza" only for them to throw it out.

Ordered 5 times now over several weeks hoping for improvement. Consistently terrible pizzas - bases thin as paper and ingredients are often barely cooked at all -e.g. my last one had almost raw mushrooms and peppers on top. Delivery tracker has NEVER once been correct either- like its not being updated. I often receive my pizzas before its moved onto the "cooking" stage of the tracker.

Ordered yesterday took over an hour n half! Had to re call them because Tyler the delivery driver didn’t deliver! Soo bad!

We ordered on the website however it said payment unsuccessful so we ordered again, only to find out the payment had in fact gone through the first time. We called the store to ask to cancel the 2nd order. They however declined saying the pizzas had already been put in the oven. I find this a laughable excuse as the order had been placed about 3 minutes beforehand. We refused the 2nd order and it was taken back to the store. We have not received a refund despite it being the fault of the website. I fail to understand how a big company such as Dominos can steal a customers money on the basis of their faulty website. People do not just have £30 to throw out the window. Appalling customer service and a very unhelpful manager.

expensive tomato sauce much too sweet and the semolina cornmeal coating is a horrible at of making a crispy base.

Served a vegartarian MEAT when its not hard to get twisted CHEESE dough balls wrong, instead we was given pepporoni. When we rang up we was told the driver will collect the food yet they never turned up. Next day we rang up to complain, again we was told a driver will retreive the food and again never turned up! Then was told we would have a full refund on our meal yet a week later nothing! Currently been ringing non-stop to see if we will be refunded and they are ignoring our calls? Disgusting customer service dont bother with this store!!!

Apparently, my order is 'collection only'. Marcus, the Manager, rude and unhelpful. Will never use again. I guess the staff are eating my order of £19.99 that I'll never see.

Horrendous wait times for collection. Nearly a full hour to wait with hungry kids waiting for food. When it eventually came the pizza was OK, but with that kind of wait for so called fast food, you're always going to be left with a foul taste in your mouth...

Took 90 minutes to deliver when they said 40 mins, turned up STONE COLD whilst my children had been waiting up. The kids’ pizza was actually hard on top, it was disgusting! This place have messed up the delivery or order 3/3 times now and having thrown it in the bin and cooked pasta instead I was then told when I kicked off I had to dig it out of the bin and give it to a driver!!!! Surely they know how long it’s been left standing around before they bothered sending it!! Avoid the place, totally incompetent idiots

I started using this store as the one closest to me is very poor when It comes to cheese (Hardly any) so I travel further down to sea front, seems there is a problem when cheese is concerned? I have had 2 pizza's but yet Again hardly any cheese! So.... Seems that the only option is Preston in Paignton as they always put cheese on the pizza,but I definitely won't be going to Paignton just to get a pizza with cheese on it. Chinese it is then.

Disappointing and gross I had seen at least two staff touch there hair and face without washing there hands before making customers food, will not be going here again. The pictures that are linked with this is pointless I mean seriously people want to see pictures of these places not shots of people half nude that has nothing to do with the company itself. Little things like no plates available and can’t remember where you put the disposable cups when you order to eat in and have to eat from the boxes they came in. I may as well go home and eat. The table being too small because the boxes are so many and so big that you don’t know where to put them. Also the toilet could do with getting rid of the rotten nappies that have been sat for a long long time. Over priced pizzas especially for vegetarians!!! Come on!

Good food, quite pricey but well worth the money. Staff were very helpful and had good banter. Toilets didn't have any bog roll though which was a bit of an issue.

It used to be a treat but it's just to expensive now.y American friend nearly had a heart attack when I told him how much a large is here, he's paying about 8 USD (£5). If you are tempted pick it up yourself and go for the deals.

Rung both of the Domino's Pizza today for a delivery to Chelston at 14.30 21/12/18 and neither would do a delivery. So forget about ringing them for a delivery. They can stuff their cheese where it hurts....!!

45 mins late and received wrong order. Complained to the store and was told they tried to ring me but no answer( bullsh## no-one rang). Thin crust was terrible and hardly any ingredients. 👎

Stood waiting at the counter only to see a member of staff give another customer a bucket of sass when he asked to have his pizza that was sat on the ready screen, after not only he but myslef were stood waiting and being ignored by the entire team as they were to busy engaging in juvinile banter, waited some more only to overhear a conversation by staff on the cookline asking if anyone was serving us, their conversation quickly ended and we were still ignored, i made sure i shouted loud enough for the team to hear as i left unsatisfied and went for a chinese instead

Used this outlet for a while and was totally satisfied with service and quality of food. However in recent times the quality has plummeted resulting in my last order and it will be my last order being almost inedible. Phoned to complain as pizzas were soggy, seemed undercooked and sparse of ingredients compaired to their menu pictures and was told it couldnt be undercooked as the timers on the oven were correct. The two slices i managed to eat had an effect the next day enough said.

Bought a pizza in an online deal while at the amusements next door to this Domino's, I clicked 'closest Domino's' but the order was sent to a restaurant around a mile away. The staff were incredibly helpful when we realised the mistake and had it sent over to the correct place where we were waiting. Although we waited a while for it to arrive it was still very hot, however it was the wrong pizza anyway! This was very disappointing, but the staff made a new pizza without any trouble at all. A very mixed experience, be careful if you order pizza to this Domino's to check it is the right one!

Ordered pizza online for collection, stood at the till for way over 5 minutes as staff walked past ignoring me. A young woman stood laughing and swearing with 3 others men talking about how bad her job is all while they kept glancing over at me but still ignoring me. It wasnt till i got angry and shouted is anyone going to give me my food that a young lad walked over and past it to me which took about 5 seconds out of their busy schedule of standing around moaning and swearing. Didnt even get a apology. Most rude staff ive ever met and would never return to that store
