Ran out of creme egg cookies or would of had a 5 star rating

Only ordered because I had won a voucher. Couldn't use the voucher against any of the 'deals' and had to spend so much to get delivery so still cost £18. Loaded fries undercooked and cold and certainly not worth the money - salt missing too. If I'd paid the full price I would have asked for a refund. Only 2nd time I've ever eaten Dominos - not impressed so I doubt it will be a 3rd! Delivery was quick but food still not hot

I was the only customer in the shop but stood at the counter being completely ignored for nearly 5 minutes. I could see my order was ready. All they had to do was acknoeledge my presence and hand over the boxes. So rude and lacking in customer skills it's bewildering.

Delivery driver lied and said he knocked but no one answered and simply left. After calling was told ‘he’d deliver it after completing his other deliveries’.

We had 1 large pizza , portion of fries and 2 dips had I had to make this up to £30.00 so I got the £10.00 discount wish I thought was a good deal, delivery turned up on time but was advised becarful it's hot, no it wasn't the chips was stone cold and the pizza was Luke warm, will not be having another very disappointed.

Pizza took 1 hour 30mins to arrive. Stone cold and hard like cardboard. Tried calling but no answer. Waste of money...

Bought the new fries and the portion wasn’t great, called up and spoke to the manager and it’s wasn’t a problem at all and they sent me out another lot. Thank you for your professionalism and great customer service

I don't like Domino's, I tried it when it first arrived in my old home town and it was over priced disgusting mush. That would have been around 15-20 years ago. Gave this long established branch a go and the delivery driver was rude as was the manager. The food is still god awful and still well over priced. At least now when my friends and relatives say"everyone deserves a second chance" I can say "Domino's blew theirs". Plenty of competition to choose from and I've had little cause fir complaint with them. I would NOT recommend this branch of Domino's, maybe I just got very unlucky.

Disrespectful staff, food isn't great and is way over priced. Steer clear.

Substandard pizza barely any cheese and a tad bit over cooked. Very rude “manager” messed up our entire order and refused to take accountability, wouldn’t listen, highly defensive. This man acted paranoid and had a very bad attitude and no customer service at all. I’ve been a retail manager and this isn’t how you approach customers who have a complaint. Even my brother tried to talk to him but the manager was snarky and rude still. I asked for a replacement he refused. I told this manager he was rude and refusing to take accountability and I wished to complain about him which his attitude still was bad and he was unfazed that we wanted to complain about his poor customer service. We’ve had orders messed up before but the staff have always been helpful and friendly and rectified the problem but this manager is on a whole new level. In the end we didn’t buy a replacement pizza because the man acted too rude and and we didn’t trust him. We paid full price for a large pizza so didn’t expect this poor standard of Pizza and service.

Waited hour still not even left for delivery.

We order from here regularly and there’s always something wrong however tonight was the worst. Said the delivery time was 20 minutes took an hour. When it arrived was luke warm and both pizzas were missing toppings they also sent the wrong big dip and when we asked the driver he said we could wait for a new one to be sent. What so the pizzas can be colder than they was. Absolutely fed up paid nearly £30 for 2 pizzas waste of our money

Really Bad pizzas uncooked the base was wet and had no taste my wife spent most of the night throwing up I do not recommend.

Got my pizza they forgot to add the tomato base to my order even after adding extra sauce they still couldn't get it right the garlic bread might as well of been just bread because there was nothing but bread no cheese no garlic and no sauce

Food is clearly never checked , nursery children could have done better imo and this was clearly thrown in the box with no quality check or any check at all , I know you have guides and guidelines on food prep etc but heanor domino’s clearly doesn’t adhere to them. Staff are rude, lie about orders and so called “managers” , they don’t answer the phones and if they do they just hang up after threatening customers, not very friendly or customer oriented. If you are lucky maybe you will just get lied too but you certainly won’t get your order sorted they will refuse, to help or sort it out and fabricate lies around this excuse or threaten you but if you are into that and like pizza that is either dry like cardboard or swamped in sauce and cold then this is the place for you 👍🏻, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this to my dog.

Although leaving this review won’t affect anything in the way this branch operates. I thought I’d share my insight on the experience myself and my partner have just had….. Ordered at 6:35pm on the app (with an expected wait time of 20mins). Now this is also bearing in mind that it’s a regular Thursday evening (no major event’s happening). Had to call once and ask where the food was and was told our order was the next for delivery. Another hour later our food arrived at 8:00pm, stone cold & they forgot our correct order (there was no drink that we paid for and no fast offer to rectify the situation). Ended up having to put the food in the oven… Should have bought a £12 pizza deal from Morrisons!!!

Don't order from this branch. Ordered 4 pizzas and sides at around 1155 requesting a delivery time of 1230 to 1245. They delivered at around 1350. Apparently they tried to deliver once then drove off. Despite there being a phone number on the order they never rang. When it arrived it was cold, and missing 3 large dips. Monkeys could do a better job. Rang 3 times to complain. Manager seems very young and inexperienced. I would drive to Ilkeston or another branch than deal with this branch. I wouldn't opt for delivery, it seems a lottery as to when you will get your order and no management of workload.

Absolutely disgusting service from Dominos. Ordered £70 worth of food for my staff. Delivery took 80 minutes and upon its arrival it was stone cold, when I rang up to complain the "manager" was rude to me & refused to replace the food (I offered for them to collect the cold food) he then refused to collect the food and refused to replace the food or give us a refund. He said we could have a 50% refund which would mean I have still paid £35 for food that is stone cold! Not acceptable

Ordered Pizza....at 17:50 at 18:05 the app had informed me it was out the oven received cold pizza at 18:50...sent pizza back with the driver and tried to phone...not answering after 10 rings....20 quid pizza...zero customer service...no trust in managments understanding of hygiene laws (pizza had meat on it) pretty sure not getting a fresh sufficiently hot pizza...can't say not picking up the phone.

Opening pizza box, it looked as if it came off the floor and then sent out. Side orders cold and chicken under cooked.

Its ok but very expensive for delivery as oppose to other places. Always collect if u can cz the price of a pizza can more than double just because its a delivery order and thats not with the price of delivery that just seems to be a standard price over increase for some reason. Very wrong. Use the offers of half price or don't bother with delivery from here. Far too expensive.

Always fast and friendly service. Prefer Dominos over many other pizza places. 👌 Ask for the current offers though, full menu price is too much.

I've had a few delivery's from the heanor branch and on a couple of occasions items have been missed from my order first time it was garlic bread and this evening a bottle of sprite ,, the pizzas are great and delivery's but feel attention to detail on orders are lacking ..

Brilliant if you fancy playing pizza roulette and getting a totally random choice of toppings. Patronising when you're told "were checking your order to keep up with our high standards" before it goes out for delivery, and then when it does arrive they've got your order completely wrong

Food is good quality at this branch, been a few times and never had a problem. Sometimes the staff are abit rude, and hesitate when you ask them favours.

The Dominoes branch in Heanor was fantastic, the staff members were very friendly and pleasant, but most of all and honestly - what compelled me to write this review, THE PIZZA! In all my years having Domino's pizza, never have I had one as delicious as the one from Heanor. I was throughly impressed; the bbq sauce was just right and not overly sweet, the dough was light and puffy with the perfect density! The cheese was stringy and tasted better than usual! And there was a generous serving of toppings. I only wish that my local Domino's pizza was as good as this! Big thank you and well done to the team at Heanor for showing me a good standard of a Domino's pizza!

I ordered 2 lots of cookies and 2 drinks for delivery. I ordered these at 7.00pm. As it got to 7.30pm I began to wonder where my order was, I rang up and they said my order was on the way. It then got to 7.50pm and they still wasn’t here baring in mind I live 10 minutes away. so I rung again they then told me the driver had forgotten my order so had to return and they had just left!! It then got to 8.15pm my order still wasn’t here so I ring for the 3rd time and they proceeded to tell me the order was on the way. I asked for a refund as this was completely out of order they agreed to a refund but when I asked for a confirmation of a refund they said they couldn’t do it. I asked to speak to the manager, as a manager of a store I was absolutely disgusted in her attitude! She told me She couldn’t do an email confirmation as she was “too busy” so I proceeded to question why she couldn’t send me a confirmation as I wouldn’t trust them to process my refund she was unbelievably rude! My order arrived at 8.40pm absolutely freezing cold and burnt to a crisp absolutely disgusting!!! I will not be ordering from here again, the attitude on the staff was disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. Disgusted!

Warning hot that’s a lie, you get a text saying it’s on its way and it takes 30 minutes and it’s just about warm they used to be good but now it poor to be honest and it’s not just a one off don’t order unless you collect as clearly they give the delivery drivers to many in one run to save money and let’s be honest even with there deals it’s not cheap

Feel let down by domino's this time very cold food , rang up to tell them and all the lady could say was his that all you are calling for

We orded for pick up, on arrival to store we seen on gentle man literally running everything on his own he was quick and even tho there was one staff we got our food hot and fresh he managed to run the store hi and a delivery driver. Very polite and hard working individual Recommend.

Totally overpriced crap that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. I suppose I will grudgingly admit that they almost earned a 1 star rating as the hot and spicey pizza that we had did have peppers on it - not a lot else (hardly and toppings e.g. cheese/meat etc). Next time I even consider dominoes I will just throw 20 quid in the bin as it will save me the time and effort of waiting an hour for delivery of sub standard food that no one will eat.

Good pizza, but very expensive, even with offers. Would cost about £40 to feed a family of 4, where as a Chinese costs less then £30 with lots of food 🤔

My order of 2X Large Veggie Volcano and Customised Margarita Pizza were made really nice and had a good even spread of toppings. Cooked just as I always have from Dominos around Nottinghamshire and Wales. Great first time customer service tonight from a delivery driver, who immediately said hello and apologised for the short delay in delivery, told me to take care and have a good night. Will order again, due my own personal experience, not what other reviews state. Thank you.

Review edited 16/02/2021Domino's DID an amazing gluten free pizza base. The Volcano Veggie WAS particularly good. However since reopening, after the 1st Covid19 lockdown ended, way back in July of 2020 they've decided that they aren't doing gluten free anymore and don't know when (or even if) they will be. Come on Domino's if Papa John's can manage it then so can you 😔

Waited another 40 mins the manager said it was on side and driver had forgot it, asked to be refunded this was supposed to be a birthday dinner cost £33, manager said we will make it fresh send it out 2 mins later guy turns up with cold soggy pizza everything cold 🥶 Went in bin 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have never ordered a pizza but I have had someone from Domino Pizza Heanor trying to deliver to me at 11 pm on four occasions despite me phoning the manager and telling get him they are delivering to the wrong address. Admittedly my address and the right one are close but they are different. If Domino want to know the details give me an email I can report them to.

Where do I start?! Fantastic. I ordered a meat feast with extra sausage which was promptly delivered to my residents by an tall slender man called dean. I could see he was tired from a heavy weekend (must of been somewhere hardcore like Heaton Park 19, or somewhere ruthless like that) so I offered him inside. He was timid at first but when I mentioned I had the Steven Gerrard greatest moments dvd on, he was straight inside. After getting to know each other a little better over a wee bit of stevie g, I asked if it wouldn’t be too much bother if he could chew my pizza for me as I am 97 & haven’t got any teeth. He was more than happy too and proceeded to regurgitate the large thin & crispy might meaty into my lips. Our lips did touch on a few occasions but he assured me that boys do kiss and our bonding over stevie g best bits had really eased any tension. After a team effort we managed to polish off not only a DEANcent protein packed treat, but an exSEALent spread all round. I couldn’t of asked, never mind dreamt of a better way to spend my late wife’s 6th death anniversary, than with the company of an affectionate adolescent. Not only did he deliver a lovely pizza, but he also delivered a lovely moment.

Two years of absolute hit and miss with delivery, food temperature and upset stomachs. When it's good it's great, when it's bad it's a total waste of money for luke warm sweaty food.

Awfull service after getting order wrong twice and never receiving the food we orderd and a number off calls to complain then to be told on your next order you will get £20 off. Try and order again to get my discount and they have no record of my previous orders funny that shocking service avoid at all cost

Ordered 2 pizza's tonight and one arrived with a whole section missing toppings as well as some burning. Rang immediately to complain requesting a new pizza be sent out or a refund, only to be told there was nothing they could do I would have to email a photo to customer service which I should hear back from in approx. 2 days. Asked to speak to the manager (Ali Langston) and explained the situation and that I was not happy with the repaonse and was told a blatant lie that the pizza had been personally made by him and was fine when it left the store. When I explained that the dough was cooked and burnt were the topping should be (i.e. it had been cooked missing the topping) I was told it was a busy store and he didn't have all night to talk on the phone. Quality control - none existent Customer service - a disgrace

Ordered 3 13.5 pizzas for 29.99 tonight for dominoes a good deal , however the amount of toppings would be good for a 9 inch pizza the edges were bare , won’t order again

I ordered online and waited nearly two hours for my food to be delivered and I was given a message to say that the driver had to deliver to two other places but instead of carry on driving the driver went back to the shop and stayed there. I rang up and got told the driver would be with me within 5 minutes. I didn’t get my food until nearly half an hour after I rang. Overall won’t be ordering from here again.

Awful. Store Manager called Agne was not interested in the shambolic service we received tonight. We order regularly from this store and have never had an issue. We waited 1 hour 30 minutes to receive cold pizza. I appreciate it was a busy night (New Years Day) However, surely extra staff should have been in place? We were offered a discount on our next order and told our reorder for tonight would take another 1 hour 30! Is this how you manage customer service? During our phone conversation she tried to cut it short several times and had no interest in resolving the issue. Instead she suggested we drive to pick it up. A main question I have for the store manager is, why on earth would you make the pizza 50 minutes before a driver is ready to deliver? (Notified by the tracker when it was on quality control) She happily had the customer service information readily available, which leads me to believe she has had numerous complaints tonight. If this is how she handles them, she is clearly in the wrong role. We took our business elsewhere.

Ordered dinner time. Spent ages sorting out what we wanted only to get an answerphone message to say it would take 2 hours to deliver!!! So I rang back and cancelled and requested a refund (which I'm still waiting for). Didn't apologise. Dreadful place. We will not be using dominos again.

By far the most poorly run franchise. My last order was ordered online to arrive at a set time and eventually arrived almost two hours late after several phone calls where I was told it was on its way only to be sat waiting for another half an hour. Once it arrived the pizza was stone cold and the toppings were wrong. As with all Dominos shops the cost is very high although with other franchises the quality usually makes up for this. The only thing I enjoyed was the refund.

The staff are friendly. Ive never had any trouble with them. Service is fast. Their pizzas are delicious.

Great food 🥘 always hot and tasty 😋. I used the App which provides a tracker facility. It's fun but on my last order the tracker indicated that my order had been delivered but I had no food. I rang the branch and was told the tracker is ahead of the driver.

Ordered 2 small Pizzas for after a late shift early on in the evening for a specific time it was 35 minutes late with no apology. What's the point in being able to select a time to arrive if it doesn't come at that time

Great pizza, look for the meal deals, or deal of the day, makes the cost a little better, sometimes the delivery is slow or they cant find you but overall they're not bad. Ant combination of anything you want pizza wise.

Nice pizza. Always best to look for a voucher online for 25/30% off as it is quite expensive for pizza. Toppings are sometimes a bit sparce, so you have to order more, which costs more. Delivery is normally quite quick and the staff are nice.

Was greeted on phone by the very polite girl! Having used Domino's now for some 20 odd years all around the country I have to say this particular franchise fails miserably at all levels, again last night ( I don't know why I do it) the Pizza and sides were 25 minutes late being delivered despite ordering online 2 hours before, so as usual it turns up cold with no apology and again as usual the double topping I ordered and paid for is only a single and the chicken wings have no extra hot sauce on.It's pointless phoning to complain as the Manager I spoke to was rude and uninterested.Domino's you need to sort this Franchise it beggars belief you can make 70% margin for this type of service.

Ordered pizza at 18:47. Showed delivered at 19:19 on app. Rang up at 20:00 cause pizza hadn't been delivered then had to ring up again at 20:35 then they said it's been lost and they just realised 5 min ago. Useless bunch of muppets. Normally takes 15 min after showing up on app as delivered for pizza to actually arrive but this time was a complete joke. Never use this branch again.
