Domino's Pizza in Caerphilly

Thought it was a typical dominos take away but no! we was early the place was quiet we ordered ham and pineapple and a pepperoni got home to find the pepperoni one was cooked so much the pepperoni had turned in to flat crisps with burnt edges! So if your ordering from here please make sure you check your order before driving away or letting the delivery driver leave. Domino’s is to expensive these days to be throwing a pizza away! Wish i took a pic to post now

Was you training new starters today per chance? I’m trying to comprehend why my pizza came delivered half folded over with all the toppings peeling off. Did the staff decide to play a game of frisbee with my pizza in the kitchen or was the delivery driver in a horrific crash before delivery? I sympathise with you knowing the majority of you are on minimum wage but having spent £40 for dinner I expect better. Furthermore dough balls were in a state of their own as well and the only reason I haven’t sent it back is I’m starving and I cba to wait another 20 minutes. Place is going down hill. Update I gave them another two chances they failed again dominos is dead just go elsewhere

I ordered 2 veggie pizzas, substituting the onion for red jalapeños. They put spicy meat on both...and my husband and I are vegetarian. It was too late to go back as we had just moved house and it was just before closing, so we picked the meat off and ate the rest of it. Luckily our diet is a choice thing but if we were intolerant we'd have been screwed...

If only there was a zero star option Absolutely disgraceful food we collected this evening. Missing one side and drink, the side we had was burnt. Pizza was cold, uncut and soggy. Will never eat from here again

The loaded fries were worse loaded fries I ever had the chips wasn't even crunchy and well under cooked tasted like a kid cooked em but the pizza was good

The 1 star is for the prompt service and the prompt service only!!! I’ve ordered 2 orders in the last 9 days 1st order 1 extremely over cooked pizza tasted like s@@@!!!!!!! But tonight I thought I’d give it another shot I don’t know if there’s a new manager or no managers at all but going back 2 years ago the orders I received from here was spot on!!! Tonight’s pizza undercooked??? I’m not complaining but pepperoni there was layers stacked on top of each other and plenty I mean plenty of meat balls on there 😍😍 not complaining on that part because that’s literally all I ate because the pizza it’s self tasted like s@@@ !!! Again can I suggest maybe getting the temperature or time settings adjusted on the ovens because something definitely isn’t correct or like I mentioned something to do with management because the toppings I had are definitely up there with the £££ 1s and I had plentiful of it ??? Sort it out dominoes Blackwood absolute waste of £60 in the last 9 days!!! Needs to be addressed by higher management!!! Simple as that!!!!

Unfortunately every time we order from here it never seems to arrive on time. And they alway seem to be confused about whereabouts to deliver it to. We understand it can be awkward to find our address but they never even ring for directions. And then when you ring up to query where the order is they aren’t very apologetic about it either! Our order didn’t arrive for nearly an hour after our original slot we booked it to be delivered for!

Driver was unable to locate my address and could not speak English. I called the store and they were unhelpful so asked to cancel and refund the order. I will not be ordering again and will advise others to order from elsewhere.

Love dominoes but a little disappointed with the delivery. I ordered in a specific time slot as it was to work around lunch breaks... it arrived 15 minutes early so unfortunately people missed out .Obviously if it had been late it would have been an issue also so try and get the delivery's within the timeslot if a customer has specifically chosen

The pizza's and the sides was spot on, Everything was hot and nothing was missing on the order 👊

Went to pick up my order last night and was shocked at the fact that the girl on the till was doing everything on her own. She was dealing with a customer's issue with his pizza and asked the other staff to remake it and everyone was too busy talking amongst themselves and it got to the point where the customer then shouted over and asked them to do it. Absolutely ridiculous. Even the manager was stood there talking and clearly not running the shift very well at all.

Don't bother ordering anything vegan from here as everytime we have, they never have the ingredients. We ordered yesterday and they didn't even bother to ring to say they didn't have the vegan pepperoni and rather replaced it with cubed tomatoes (which were gross). It's a joke that the app says they are "quality checking" as what we received was the opposite of quality. The least you'd expect is a phone call to say the key ingredient isn't available but they didn't even bother to do that. So we won't be ordering from here again sadly. We'll try Papa John's instead!

Ordered a pizza to collect and have to say it was beautiful

Ordered one of the half and half. I didn't want pineapple in my half but it was on both. If they could at least keep to the order it would have been fine. But when you order half and half keep the extras on the one half.

Generally good, sometimes a little overcooked but overall decent pizza and sides

Theres no doubting the fact that they make a good pizza (but then that is thier only purpose in life) but why so expensive?

Rang up domino's to make a order for collection, the person on the phone (Dylan) sounded like he was falling asleep on the phone couldn't hear a word he was saying, as if he couldn't be bothered to talk which was really rude, also according to him it was £5 extra over the phone so we did it by app in the end. Ordered 2 large pizzas and two sides, the pizzas were incorrect so we took them back and they offered to redo them for us, we sat in the car which was parked right outside the store window and waited with no fuss, while we waited Dylan was stood at the tills looking at us laughing, and saying something to another worker, once the order was cooked we took the pizzas to the car and checked them to make sure they were correct and while we was doing that Dylan clearly was finding it funny as he laughed and watched us check everything which was so disrespectful seeing as we are paying £40 for the food and wanted it to be to our liking! Don't know what he found funny about the matter seeing as he gave the impression that he didn't know how to do his job properly, stood picking his face and his back, not making any contribution to the establishment the whole 40 minutes we were there. If it wasn't for Dylans attitude and rudeness I wouldn't of wrote this review, unfortunately his customer service was absolutely disgusting and I hope to never see him behind the counter again avoiding the Blackwood store.

Rude service from front of house, food was sub par, complained to corporate customer service because it would have been pointless calling back as the boy on the phone "dylan" was unnatentive and useless yawning and picking his neck and back at the front of the restaurant, had food remade because it was doused in sauce when I called through after ordering and asked it specifically to be a light portion, the meateor pizza does say in the details "a light portion" but wanted to make sure my pizza was what I wanted. The box boy on front of house was laughing and mocking me and my partner through the window as we left and the remade food was sub par. I've had nice food from this restaurant before, but the whole experience today was awful, won't return and am hoping for a refund.

Terrible. Ordered for the first time in a wile and order was delivered. My 5 year old nephew could have done a better job pizza came as it had been fingered or tampered with across the base / center of the pizza and the garclic pizza was missing half its topping / cheese off the top. Is it that hard to make a pizza. Definitely need to sort this store out after all the reviews only if I seen them before. Will Never order again and I will sure be speaking to head office upon the poor customer service no apologise upon calling the shop. Would u like another one. No I do knot the first one was bad enough. Then a refund takes 3/5 working days what a joke let’s see if I get a refund only time will tell

23 quid for a 9 inch pizza that came 2 hours late. Pizza came cold and stale. Fuuuuuck these guys

Ordered online for in car collection so made sure I clicked on the link when I left home like it said to do to tell them I’m on my way, it said my order will ready and brought to the car when I arrive I waited 15 minutes no one came so went inside and expained I had ordered for in car collection and been outside waiting for 15 minutes and the boy says oh yeah here’s your order no apology or nothing…took it to the car and everything was cold 😫 What’s the point of them having in car collection when they have no intention of bringing it to your car whatsoever won’t be using domino’s Blackwood again

Paid three pounds extra for a double base pizza as we like deep pan rather than thin, which was advertised as two pizza bases sandwiched together with an extra layer of pizza sauce and cheese in-between. The two bases were wafer thin, we've had tortilla wraps way thicker! Bases were also way overcooked and dry, and only had a small amount of strange, sticky, wet liquid cheese in-between (and no sauce), tiny amount of pizza sauce on top, more horrible liquid cheese, and the entire pizza was dry, overcooked, tasteless and cold. As were the chicken strips and potato wedges. Probably not helped by the fact that for some time after our text to say delivery was on route to us, the delivery driver was still in Dominos car park when we checked the online tracker. Even the cookies (which was always the best thing about Domino's in our opinion) were terribly overcooked, burnt and dry. Wouldn't have been happy to pay £3 for this meal, let alone £30! Really disappointed and will not be ordering again.

Absolutely shocking, pizza took 30 minutes to arrive on a 4 minute ride and we had multiple items missing when it arrived. they took 45 minutes to get the missing items that we had originally ordered when we got the missing pizza it was black and as hard as a rock. Truly shocking, will not be ordering again.

Pizza for whatever reason seemed hard as a rock. Whoever cut the pizza also needs to go back to school because they are nowhere near the same size as each other. There are other places to go and I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

Absolutely Shocking, picked up food my pizza was completely over cooked! Hard as a rock, wasn’t even in the right shape had Holes in it from where the dough was so thin I think a piece of hair was thicker than my pizza, my partners pizza was completely under cooked! Everything was raw to even the dough, pizza wasn’t even cut properly large pizza with only 5 slices?! Absolutely shocking will not be going there again! Don’t wasn’t your money.

I cook my pizza on the oven again I call them too but they say send us photo by email i send and then they not answer my call I was a regular costumers but not anymore

Under cooked pizza. Raw / cold toppings and terrible sized slices. Full pizza with only 5 slices cause how its cut. Ordered bacon, get not very nice smoked ham. Absolutely shocking!!

Went there with my son whos 8 years old and he saw cheese dough balls on menu in window . When we asked for them we was told by Manager Naveed fhat they dont make/do them anymore and its old menu from last year 2020 . I said there in window menu and my son wants them please . Manger Naveed we no longer do them my so was devastated and i insisted the menu was removed and he point blank refused . What an absolute P###K . Rant over .

I'm a regular veteran dominos eater from blackwood doms, use to have no faults , however the drivers let the place down lately , driving past my house to deliver the second delivery ,which then sends an automatic response to your phone saying your pizza been delivered .... Wipes me out every time lol and the store manager is quite rude when you query anything

Ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered 1 of the pizzas was undercooked and stuck to the bottom of the box unable to free without demolishing the slices. Phoned the store and complained and sent out another pizza with no apology from the person on the phone nor any conversation with the manager. It was left for the delivery driver to say sorry! nothing to do with the driver. Delivered to the door an hour after the 1st pizza so my 2 daughter was sat waiting for there pizza while the other was gone and cookies which they wanted warm were stone cold after they waited for they’re pizza.

Bought 2 pizzas in last 2 weeks spent £36 ordered online and haven't received them yet. Very anger as I emailed customer service department.and still no respond not even a sorry or an explanation for where and why it wasn't delivered. Both where payed for before delivery. I wouldn't bother ordering again and I want a refund.

Absolutely awful customer service from staff and manager. order that came 1st time was all squashed and slid over the box with half the toppings off so rung shop they said they would send a new one out and wrong order came. After another dreadful conversation I asked for a refund and to give the order back and found the refund to be £2 short. AVOID!!!!!!

Very bad customer service, manager is unstable and very aggressive,i really havent seen anything like this behavior in my life! Honestly! no customer service at all ! I will never eat domino's again. Just read all the reviews of blackwood,this is common practice here.

Charged us twice last time with no refund that was over a month ago. Tonight driver cant find house apparently our street only goes up to 29 and we live in 31 so that more money of ours we wont get to see again.

Used to love this place 2nd time of ordering lately and the pizza box is soaked with grease to the point where I bit into the pizza and the grease dripped all down my chin it was revolting! Turned me of the place for life. Such a shame

Stopped by for a lunch deal. Good value and tasted lovely. Staff very pleasant. Been back - staff member wanted me to pay a second time, got my name wrong and the staff member who wanted me to pay again was very ignorant. Luckily the girl I had paid came by and sorted it out. The Texas BBQ pizza was the greasiest pizza I’ve ever had. Not impressed this time.

It's a shame as I do love a dominos pizza, but yesterday I rang the shop an there was no answer so since I was near Blackwood I popped in, I was stood there for 15 minutes an still not one person (there was about 15 staff) spoke to me, even to explain they were busy or to wait a couple of minutes they blantanly blanked me!!! I had my 2 kids waiting in the car. Not hard to acknowledge a customer is it?!?! So I walked out!!! Absolutely disgusting service. I'll be using papa johns down the road from now on!!

Phone was answered quickly and the order was taken efficiently. In about 20 minutes our pizzas had arrived piping hot and I was able to pay via card on delivery. Excellent service.
