I ordered a burger meal a sausage and saveloy even though they kept asking what my order was I didn't get my chips barely any salad in my burger and the sausage wasn't cooked through.

The amount of food that’s given is a total waste and when I said large chips I don’t mean an American large

Card machine doesn’t work !!! But I only had Apple Pay so couldn’t use cash machine !!! “ pay next time “ I mentioned I like crispy chips ! Cooked to perfection cooked fresh ,tasty ! Could do with freshen up and the display fish tanks need attention but for a shop that’s just reopened I hope they stay open nice people need local support ( will pay my sub when in next ) thank you !!!

Very hard batter. Chips not soft. Some people might prefer this. Everyone is different. I like soft batter. Polite staff. Nice shop.

Good to see this place reopening, had cod and chips two portions on Friday night fish well cooked and chips nice and crispy all in all value for money £20. Shop in need of decorating guy serving the food pleasant enough but would like to see him and his staff dressing more appropriately for the job ie: white overhauls. Hope they make a good of this shop.

The young lad sweeping up picking rubbish of the floor, didn't wash his hands before serving customer's. The cooks weren't very hygienic either wearing everyday clothes for cooking. Picking up bread rolls and burgers with bare hands. Un hygienic . Price of food gone up. Fish was under cooked batter soft. Chips cold. I only live 200yards away, so the food should've being hot. Staff should wear gloves wash hands regularly before handling food.

Under new management . I love the large cod and chips . Highly recommended 👌

Not a bad stop for some quick fish and chips

Everything seems fine but their chicken wings were nasty and charging alot.

Food was good enough but portions were a bit to be desired . Not a large cod and chips by my standards .

Very bad food and bad service. I ordered three burgers and they charged me more then £20 for it.There was no fries, and there wasn’t any salad in the burger, only the buns and patties. I am not going to order again.

Got a large cod and to be honest was disgusting very cheap cod from fish market paid over £7 for it was horrible and expensive fish and chip shop would not recommend

We had Cod and chips with curry sauce tonight . Best chunky cod for miles. Never had a bad Fish and chips meal from the Dolphin. The staff are always 110%. Well Done.

Last two orders from here have been a disaster after previous good experience via Uber Eats. Last time items were missing. This time our order was cancelled after 30 minutes. Won't be using again as no longer reliable.

Worst fish and chips we have ever had the fish was awful and the batter was like rubber , we popped in whilst on holiday I'm glad we don't live near it if that's the best local chippy.

Fish was very dry batter was like a plaster cast. Shame used to be good. Will be going else where for fish and chips.

Food is okay, but I walked in and got ignored because of my age.. I waited half an hour and finally got my food.

Batter was old, CHEWY and disgusting. Not fresh and crispy like batter should be. Had two bits of fish and a battered sausage as well as chips and the batter was awful on the fish and the sausage. Will definitely not be going there again and would advise others to avoid!!!

Disgusting rubber pollock!!! Not cod at all!! Batter was rubbery and leathery and old! We definitely won’t be going back there again! We called them this evening and asked them if it was fresh batter, and he said that “our customers liked the batter” hmmm....... AVOID!!!!!!!

Went there for cod and chips for me and my wife, batter was disgusting and grease sodden, and that and the chips tasted like they were cooked in older oil, no, sorry won’t go there again. I’ll go where I know the food tastes good, and I can be assured they change the oil daily.

As good as normal, fish was fantastic tonight 🙂

Great fish n chips. If you like crispy batter and big flakes of cod as you tuck in then this is the place to go to. Chips are really tasty, nothing is too oily, all freshly cooked in front of you and I find the medium cod and chips could easily feed two of you so makes for great value. Staff are always friendly. Go try it!

People who are giving this place high marks need to get out of Harefield more often. I've just spent £12 on one portion of haddock and chips with a drink and mushy peas. The haddock was overcooked, the peas bland the chips, which were ok, were just thrown over the fish. There was enough food to feed three builders. I've bought food from here a number of times and it's always been very ordinary. The only reason I continue is that I live on a boat and it's a quick walk up from the canal.

Massive amount chips, pretty sure proper potatoes, freshly cooked.

They’re ok, however the Chips are always over cooked.

We love the food in The Dolphin but we made a special trip for the amazing 'homemade' onion rings that we normally buy. Came home with the standard ones which was a bit disappointing when we opened up our dinner.

Poor value for money. Large cod £6.50 a lot smaller than expected (more like standard) and chips and fish had oily taste. Good amount of chips though. Will not use again.

Thought we would try their chips to see what they're like and they're the worst we have ever had. They looked burnt but weren't crispy - like eating polystyrene. Avoid the chips.

Ok Fish and Chip shop but when you first go there they give you Service with a smile and ok Fish and Chips but when you become a regular they give you dirty looks and soggy and old fish and chips. I would Highly Recomend the Fishermans Net on Harefield High Street as an alternative.
