Very friendly local cafe/restaurant that has excellent service and wonderful cooking. Krena and Migena will serve up a wonderful treat for you, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The attention to detail is evident in the quality of the produce and culinary skill applied to the meal. We will be back for more. P.S try their new northern Italian lager Menabrea 🍺 on tap, light and delicious.

I ordered grilled Salmon and it was delicious.

What a wonderful restaurant. So many great dishes to choose from. Delightful change from usual high street fare and reasonable prices. What we ordered was delicious and well presented. We were served with appropriate amount of attention and sufficient time between courses. We will be here again soon.

My husband and I came here for valentines day. The food was amazing, but more so the staff. They were so attentive. They gave each lady a balloon and red rose, which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere was perfect. 10/10 and amazing night, thank you 😊

i don’t think i can even say anything besides amazing!!! valentines set meal…me and my partner have been here loads (realised while eating that it had been over a year, were horrified in ourselves because it’s our favourite date night spot, shame on us) and everytime it’s always a better experience. thank you to all the staff, an amazing meal and experience as always (ps. made us love new foods we would never usually try, than you)

Amazing Staff and the food is divinal... I m suspicious because I m regular customer and friend of all after 7 years . My money outside home just spend hygienic and quality places. I m very good cooker but need change tastes sometimes

They offer a vegan breakfast option yet they served me toast with dairy margarine! I asked the waitress was it vegan and she told me yes yet I wasn't convinced. The waitor showed me the tub and it was made with buttermilk - not vegan!!!!! I would not trust eating there again.

What a find. Recommended by a few friends and after reading reviews we thought we must try it. We went last night, we were a party of 4 and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and of course our meal. We all had something different. It was all delicious but I don’t think it would matter what you ordered as what we saw being served to other tables all looked so inviting. The atmosphere, service and food was great. We will be back soon for sure. Thank you team Dolce.

We came here for my husbands 60th birthday (16 of us) and what a lovely time we all had..The food was amazing with fruits de mare and scollops amongst other delicious starters.From start to finish everything was perfect and food outstanding and hot. The staff are so friendly and efficient and finished our evening with music and some dancing and free large shots for everyone. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. The menu is perfect with a choice for everyone. It’s 5 stars from us 😍

I've visited a few times and each time the food quality gets worse. The cost:quality isn't really worth it, and the portion sizes are very small .There's a nice atmosphere but the dining area is sort of crowded - like they just stuffed as many tables as possible in the small area. The staff were freindly and the service was quick considering how busy it was. Also not all food additions are listed on the menu. Parmesan, garnishes, sauces are added to dishes - not listed on the description of a dish.

Marvelous little gem at the start of the Broadway at Moneyhill....extraordinary spag bol....cannot comment fully on atmosphere , as my friend and I were the only customers...😀

This was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent and the food was top notch! Loved it. I would rate the waffles as top 5 in the world.

Food had plenty of flavour. However I felt service was slow and slightly overpriced. Other than that, a very pleasant lunch.

We had our wedding lunch at Dolce on October 21st. Krenar and Migena were fantastic hosts and arranged everything so beautifully. The restaurant was perfectly set with flowers on the tables. The food was, as always, soo good. Perfectly cooked, delicious. The front of house staff were wonderful and helpful. The chefs are amazing! This is now our absolute favourite local restaurant (previously it was in the top 5!). These little extra touches just made our special day even more perfect. Thank you to the whole team at Dolce!

Steak night is every Wednesday. We had 2x 6oz rib eye, salad, onion rings, chips, & red wine. About £40. I was delighted! It was an enjoyable wedding anniversary.

This is a hidden gem in Rickmansworth. Amazing breakfast and brunch options. The service is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating and food was delicious and plentiful

Had breakfast here, coffee was really weak (surprising being an italian establishment) I ordered the eggs benedict, muffins were not toasted enough and were doughy, eggs were poached hard, ham was from a supermarket( packet of wafer thin ham, the cheap one) and a very meagre amount of hollandaise sauce. Definitely will not be returning, the cafe over the road does a better breakfast menu. Not impressed, especially as the price doesn't warrant what you receive. And the restaurant's claim of a trained chef who has worked at Claridges etc, must of been their day off!!

Nice little Caffè. Food is great,fresh nice and tasty. I had banoffe waffles with chocolate sauce, absolutely delicious. My son waffles with chicken and my wife English breakfast. Everyone loved their food. We will definitely come back.

Found this amazing gem while driving throught Rickmansworth. We came for brunch and the food was incredible. We got the fried chicken waffles with maple syrup and the sopranos. The staff were so attentive and the overall service was great. I can't wait to go back and try more food on the menu. I highly recommend this gem.

Me and my misses went there for brunch food was okay hat to send one thing back black pudding was under cooked sent another one and was still under cooked. Inside is nice think they was a bit short staffed that day but ther was a few people there all in all was all right

I found this place pretty average to be honest. We did go late afternoon on a Saturday, so not many customers. The food was OK, but we only had pasta dishes each, as I couldn’t have the fish dish I wanted, as it wasn’t ‘Fish Friday’??? Didn’t understand that, as it was on the menu. We sat under cover outside and the faux fur chair covers certainly have seen better days, nothing like they appear on the photos. Service again was average. Won’t be going back. There are better places nearby that I definitely prefer.

First time visited on Sunday. We were a party of 7 to include a baby & a 4 year old. At first we were sitting outside in the hot sun but it was great when they moved us inside where it was air conditioned,especially with little ones !! Our party had 2 steaks,lamb shank & risotto which were all lovely. The fifth adult had the King Prawns for main which he described as'alright with not much taste' Our 4 yr old was VERY disappointed as there was no Pizza.!! So that's why I've given a 3 rating . Service was good. We had a lovely waitress.

I've seen this little place several times and finally went there for dinner with friends/family. We sat in the little area outside, which is still covered, so you don't feel like you're on the street. The service is good and they take time to explain things if you're not sure. The scallops and mussels were delicious. For an italian/french restaurant I did think that they bread however was not the best. There's a nice wine selection and the one we had was really nice (except now I don't know what it was) Dessert apparently is home made, and it was really nice. We had the classic tiramisu. Would probably go there again to try their breakfast.

Calm, quiet, very friendly service, nice decor and, most importantly, decent food. We popped in for Saturday morning brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The toilet was clean and fresh too. Free parking on street opposite makes it a win all round. Would come back for sure if we were in the area.

Latest visit was pretty good but certainly nothing to write home about. Compare this to when it was first opened it was fantastic but now seem simply run of the mill. I guess one cannot sustain the high levels of service and quality forever.

Came for a light lunch! Absolutely wonderful time! It's wonderful to see a dog friendly business too, there was a lovely dog in the outside area with us. The food was stunning! It was only made less good by two people who were there who announced to the whole outdoor seated area that they were going inside because of the dog which was poor. If they didn't like the dog, they could have just gone inside, they didn't have to announce it. Regardless, it was great! Loved it!

Had a lovely family breakfast here, the choice is endless, nothing is too much trouble and the food is amazing, such a lovely place to have on our doorstep!

We love this restaurant, and often come for breakfast. Brilliant chicken and waffles, and everything else is good too!

It's OK here. We were sat in the outside bit as full inside. Told we would be moved in when a table became available but that didn't happen. Waited ages and ages to be served coffee and waffles. They were nice but then no follow up, and we literally had to chase to pay. And I understand selfish customers not pulling the sliding door closed behind them but staff? It was cold!!

Gave me food poisoning. didn’t seem bothered when I told them Shame I did like the breakfast but won’t ever go back again on principles

Me and fiancé love this place. We went recently for my birthday and (without asking) they sung me happy birthday and gave us a free slice of cheesecake (it was amazing). It’s such a welcoming and comfortable place and the food is always amazing - we’ve never had to complain.

I was only in for a drink today, but it's always delicious and good service.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review about a restaurant. I have to say that this has to be one of the worst fillet steaks I’ve had in a while. Probably because my boyfriend was bought out ribeye despite ordering a fillet steak, I then had to wait an extra 10 minutes for his steak to be cooked. They did not bother cooking a fresh one, left my one under a heater hence it being extremely tough and nearly breaking my tooth upon chewing it. I was however starving and had to eat! The peppercorn sauce tasted like a roast dinner gravy, and the what was supposed to be chimichuri tasted like garlic oil with a few parsley leaves shoved in. Don’t get me wrong, the waitress was extremely apologetic and kindly offered us an additional drink free of charge, however in my opinion they should have just cooked me a fresh steak. Whilst finishing off my free drink I heard the lady mention that we would be leaving soon and therefore we felt rushed to leave. Don’t get the steak deal on a Wednesday as I am pretty sure my wine was watered down and it’s clear to see all regulars were in for that deal. In my honest opinion, you are probably better off just going to Miller and Carter and spending a bit more money. As I said previously, I appreciate the ladies offer of a free drink but personally I feel like the meal should’ve been free as it was not the best. Again I really do apologise for having to put this review but I do feel strongly about being honest when reviewing places. Hopefully this can be perceived in a positive way in which they can improve. Thank you

A lovely family run cafe amidst hustle and bustle of Rickmansworth. I had to wait over 40mins food, hence 4 stars, however the food was worth waiting for. Friendly service and overall a great experience. Worth a visit, however I would suggest pre-booking.

We have been to this Fantastic little Hidden gem on a few occasions now, one being the fish night, Sunday lunch, and most recently the Monday wine night, what can I say ! Some of the best food we have ever tasted ! I had the roast beef for my Sunday lunch and probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The staff are friendly and informative without being intrusive. We will definitely be returning

As always we had a lovely lunch today. Krenar, migena, bessa and all the staff can not do enough for you. The food is divine. Blue cheese sauce is second to none. So lucky to have dolce so close to my house!! Thank you ❤️

After walking around the Aquadrome with a friend we decided to come here for brunch. The weather was warm and sunny so it was lovely to sit outside under an umbrella. We both chose the vegetarian breakfast which was really good; tasty, hot and well presented, with the added bonus of tea or coffee included. Our breakfast consisted of halloumi, two fried eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, a hash brown and toast. Service was friendly and quick.This was our second visit and we will definitely return.

Don't order take away from here is actually worse than just going to the kebab shop. My boyfriend and I also always struggle to find anything we actually want from the menu. Steaks are tiny and overpriced.

Go here for breakfast. Great service, great value and great food. Eggs cooked to perfection. No need to book.

Can't fault the place. It has the best array of breakfast foods outside of a Scottish Cafe/Bar in Fuertaventura that I have ever seen. Well impressed. Have been back multiple times.

Visited Dolce for an informal lunch with partner and will definitely return for dinner soon. I think this will be our new favourite place to eat. Food was excellent, prices were good, atmosphere comfortable and staff faultless. Would highly recommend.

We all know that the last couple of years have been challenging for restaurants. The team at Dolce had continually striven to serve their customers whenever possible. We popped in for steak nigh last Wednesday and were as impressed as ever. Krenar promised to get me over my ‘Rib Eye phobia’ by pan-frying the steak for me. It was perfect – medium-rare with a great seared finish. The meal comes with a couple of side orders (chips and salad for me) and a glass of wine. It is great value and well worth dropping in. There are something like 18 food outlets in West Rickmansworth, but Dolce stands head and shoulders above all the rest.

Went for lunch Sunday not impressed ordered Fillet steak brilliant but cold the owner was their but only wanted to talk all the time on his mobile not interested in his customers only to tell me his history at the Dorchester Savoy etc?? staff walking...

Had a lovely meal at Dolce with amazing food as always. It's our local go to for all our family events, brunches, midweek lunches, Sunday roasts or evening dinners. And always so accommodating of our young son as well.

Booked a table for 6 on a Monday evening 6pm.(4 adults and two teenagers ). Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience with excellent food and Wonderful service.Staff very friendly and welcoming from the start.Food fresh with wonderful flavours and good portions .Couldn’t fault anything...
