Called in for tea one night last week, good atmosphere, the steak pie was really good and tasty, the service we received was really friendly especially from the young man on the bar Elliott Also attentive service received from the lady bringout our food, sorry didn't get her name, we will be coming back and trying one of your food theme nights

Went in for some food with my daughter. We always like the steak here as its always great. Was served by Kelly om the bar and she recommended the sweet potato fries and I'm glad I listened, they were amazing and definitely a new favourite for me. Shout out to the chef James too, as he always cooks a good steak. Will be back again soon!

Lovely place to eat. Booked a table for me and my family and everyone agreed and said the food was perfect as well as the service and we became very friendly with one of the waiters named Elliott due to his well mannered and friendly attitude and care for our needs and feedback during and after our meal. Booked a table for a group from Bardsley Community Centre to enjoy lunch and the sing a long. Excellent event - bar and waiting staff polite and pleasant. The singer was good and engaged with the audience. Food was excellent. We will be back for the next one at the end of March

Visited with family. An absolute shambles of a place ,on arrival bar staff didn't know how to pull a decent pint and no straws for a gin cocktail.t A member of our party ordered a meal and half an hour later she was informed that they had no tuna. There were no apologies from the waiter. The food took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant was very quiet. The food was well below standard. I ordered a sirloin steak and it was too tough to eat Could be an amazing pub but sadly they could do with looking at employing a chef that can cook and trained bar staff.

Party of 3 adults, took elderly relative. Disappointed that only 1 of 3 cars in the disabled bays had a disabled badge, made access a challenge. Once out of the car park access good and disabled facilities all on the flat. Our reserved table not ready but waitress after asking us to wait spotted our elderly relative and offered us an alternative, we asked if accessible, and were asked to wait a moment for our original table to be cleared. All took seconds to sort so far so good. Service from there poor, appeared short staffed. Staff were lovely and practically running around so felt sorry for them. Took ages between courses and meal for 3 took over 2 hours. Starters very nice. Mains a disappointment pastry very hard on pies. Desserts OK but also disappointment sundae did not arrive in sundae glass and no flake. Not major not worth complaining but wouldn't go back or recommend. Nice pub nice location but not for us for dining out.
