Service takes too long, waited nearly 35mins

Food is amazing! I recommend the Chicken fillet burger meal. It is £5.49 for one but it is totally worth it. The Service is Meh. Sometimes they take long and sometimes it’s just regular wait time. The atmosphere is atrocious. Families leave and leave all their rubbish there. Staff don’t pick it up till maybe 1 hour. Apart from this I would totally recommend this place to a friend. 4 stars from me!

Went to buy a chicken breast burger, the staff at the back was talking and I was standing near the counter for a minute nobody to serve me they were chatting at the back and the food I got Cold burger bun was taken out of a packet wasn’t warmed or toasted chicken breast was hard as rock fries were cold mixed with warm terrible food, terrible service..

This chicken shop is very unhygienic and dirty the floors are covered in dirt and never cleaned the waiting time is 40min+ for anything over £10 Would not recommend find another shop!

I ordered peri peri grill chiecken but the food was totally wastage of money don’t order peri peri grilled chicken from dixy again

Ordered two half peri meal spicy and a mega mix meal,peri peri chicken was not spicy at all tasted sweet instead of spicy,as for the mega mix was not too bad,overall food was 6/10

The anxiety I get is next level whenever i order from Dixy online. There's always an item missing!!!!! but when you ring them they do bring the missing items back

Baffled as to how this place is still open very poor hygiene dirty outdated and food is not what you would expect. Such a shame we lost a Gem Chicken Max was amazing before the fire. + is only they have seating and offer water / dates when your fasting.

I ordered on the phone for delivery, when the food came it was burnt. The pizza had a burnt crusts and the cheese and the everything on it was all dark brown, also the base was rubbery, then I phoned them up but they didn’t accept what I had to say. I been ordering from them for more than 11 years, but they didn’t seem to listen. The guy on the phone is a good guy and just works for them but the food had to be thrown away, I am not going to risk my kid’s health.

I order 3 meals and was told 30-45 minutes..food arrived without fries and was then told an extra 15 minutes to get fries…

The food from this shop ranges from 1 to 5. Depends what your luck is on the day.

Customers have a staring problem

I'm giving this a 1 star due to past experience from a lady cashier who now works across the road in Rio's Piri Piri. This woman, during the height of Covid, was serving customers at the cash register, then took my money for a single chicken strip roll, and proceed to make the burger herself using her unsantised hands. Tongs? Forget about it. When I told her to use them she said it doesn't matter, the heat will burn any bacteria. After I objected she open the cash register and threw my change back exclaiming if I don't want her food I should leave. I accept this review is late, but they employed someone like that - she should either take hygiene and etiquette class or never work in fast food again. As such, you will get 1 star because of this lady. I hoped to get her name and plaster it here - middle aged and wears a scarf. Otherwise, this store food is medicare at best. Chicken is often dry and portions are small compared to other Dixy chains.

First time and last time never again disgusting food

Raw chicken anyone? Here's the place to get it! The geezer who works there was rude to me wife and he's lucky I didn't cook his head in his dirty oil he cooks everything in and doesn't clean! Give your staff a head wobble and sort them out. Rude people who can't even cook frozen chicken it always has blood in it. Pattern!!!!!

There chicken wraps with cheese are really nice so is there singular pieces, apple pies could be a but crisper but good for a quick bite.

Not a very good service. A bit rude or that’s how they are. Fries was full of oil looks like it was reheated fries. Totally waste of money. I won’t try it again.

I wanted pizza and instead of going to Greggs which is nearby l managed to find Dixy on Highfield Road. The guy behind the counter at approximately 14:10 was friendly and assured me the meat feast pizza will be made nicely as requested. After 18 minutes the pizza was ready and it was cooked to perfection and all l can say is it was lovely. The pizza had toppings aplenty, was very tasty and was served with three tubs of chilli sauce. A homeless woman (IC3 and in her 40's) scraggy in appearance asked a few patrons for change which is rather disconcerting when one is trying to eat in relative peace. She must do this all the time and managed to bag a free meal like it was the norm. Overall l was happy with the food and would recommend this establishment to others visiting this road for reasons of clothes shopping.

This place is not bad at all even though it's been here for a long time & the staff are not bad that either. The food here is not that bad & its abit pricey, but I can't complain at all. The furniture is kinda old but still comfortable. This place is halal & this place does cash & card payments here. I would recommend to family & friends.

Best taste halal uk. Kfc is looks cheap taste for bloody chicken but expensive deals. Eat halal more tasty and healthy

Ordered a chicken burger and the inside of the chicken was pink and undercooked and it tasted very dry.

Walked in late at 11:45. Requested a meal which was duly served. Story does not end here… walked towards my vehicle, entered and consumed quite frankly beautiful hot chicken. Phoned the diner back after closing hours and informed them i had left my phone. Iphone 12 was noticed and returned @ 14:38 the following day without charge. Honesty is admired based on circumstance. Shall be back and Thank You.

To be placed on a very busy rd, service is so slow, unbelievable. 2 customers 1 myself. Yet waited for over 20 mins for 5 strip burger meals,. How is this place still running🤔. And the food was rubbish.

When a person is Hungary anything tastes nice. This shop it's a different story. but for the sake of Allah don't waste your money here, I had no choice to give it no star's, or else I would of gave it, none. Tasteless food, I belive who ever said good about this place must of got paid, or got free chicken paid for from another shop as there own food is absolutely zero.

I also got sick ordering from here has now been 3 days I have been vomiting. I would avoid this place if you like to live.

My local dixy (highfield rd), I have to say needs some what improvements to keep up with leading take away outlets located around this establisment. The phone service,i was greeted like I've rang my friends house not a take away with no indication who I've just rang.(no formal introduction). My ordered arrived alittle late and I was very much pleased with chicken freshly cooked and streaming hot... but the down fall to this place was the price advertised was not price I was told on phone and on arrival it was an additional place (within 1mile radius). Overall until this dixy branch trains it's staff of professional attitude and what prices they advertising there food for and how to.look up what there selling there food for I don't see a long successful running business Considering there competitors around them.

Rude staff, terrible customer service, will not be visiting again ! A disappointment and disgrace to the dixy franchise.

Food Is disgusting from here, they make the sauses by the window and dont use any gloves, the service is always slow dont know what they are doing. Dixy nechells much better food is always spot on. I guess people haven't tried the others, one scaf wearing lady their is very rude she is very very bad will not be going their anymore. I have tried it three times same attitude problem with that particular lady shame really good location.

My experience with Dixy has gone from bad to terrible, it’s come to a point that I wouldn’t order from them again, whether it’s through UberEats or phone orders. The customer service is terrible, like like really really bad, got hung up whilst I was placing my Order, let alone he confirmed the order he just said what he needed to and hung up. Had to call back again to confirm my order as to they have messed up my orders in the past. The staff is very very rude when it comes to talking to customers and the quality of food when delivered isn’t the best, no presentation nothing just shoved everything in the bag.

customer service is very rude I'm very disappointed. Its was eat out help out and they charged me full price. When I asked that man your charged me extra he said I can not do anything I said I'm going to make complian about you he said fine go and make it. Than I said I want to talk to Manger he said you can't. There was other worker he called the manager. Manager was okay he did apologize to me because of that he knows I have proof and I will make complian about them. I made video of this as a proof and lots of customers was there as witness NEVER recommend

The food is good in this shop and is very tasty however I think the food is a day old and reheated. One problem I have with this particular Dixy is that in the government website it says that they had registered for the Eat Out Help Out Scheme but when I phone they say that they don’t do it. This is fraud as they charge he customers the full amount and they they tell the government that hey charge 50% off and they get a refund. Another problem is that the service is bad. The food takes at least 15min to prepare but in reality they are reheating food. Bad customer service.

A name in fast food but disappearing abruptly....

The pizza was cold the chicken made you feel ill and on one pizza there was a small hair, I did consider this had fallen off me as I opened the food but it was clearly cooked in the cheese. Last year I would have said this place was great this year I say this is just another food place in the Saltley area that needs shutting for public health.

Over priced. Should have gone to the real dixys which is now Sam & Harrys. I had Dry fries, Chicken was bloody by the bone and tasted off. Quarter pounder burger was good. Service was slow despite me being the only one there at midnight.

If I could give it no stars I would, don’t think because this shop is busy it’s got good food. It’s shameful to put ‘Dixy’ on the shop.. doesn’t live up to your usual ‘Dixy’ franchises.. the food was very poor the service was ok but everything was very bad. Ordered food for delivery to a place literally 2 minutes drive down the road. After speaking to the shop 3 times over the phone, and listening to the clueless staff member regarding the driver finding my address, asking the guy to give me the drivers number as I knew he was lost, I eventually spoke to driver and he delivered food 1 and half hours later. The guy in shop lied to me about the drivers location. Food was horrible cold and hard. Fried chicken had no seasoning not even salt. Chicken was bloody by the bone and greasy from outside. These guys gone down the hill since Fas left a year or so ago. They are clueless when it comes to running the shop and there is no such thing as customer service or cooking the food properly. Also the fried chicken had a nasty odour like it was old. I hope I don't get sick from this. They are only good for pizza now not the chicken.

Hit or miss sometimes dry chips, few times though. Other days the best and convenient to get food.

Absolutely disgusting staff. My son wnet after school with his friends to buy food from this place. They paid for their food and waited patiently. After half an hour of waiting my son and his friends asked where their food was. The staff a woman replied that they hadn't paid. My son and his friends assured they had paid and that she had made a mistake due to the rush at the shop. From there she became extremely rude telling them to shut up and that she would slap them. They asked her to check their cctv which would prove they had paid. At first she said she would check the cctv and then said she didn't want to. After arguing for over an hour and my son having called me and me speaking to this rude staff they finally gave the kids their food that they had paid for. During the call this female staff was extremely rude to me also. I will not let my son eat their again and I won't be ordering form their either. The unfortunate thing in all this was she lacked basic English comprehension and was unable to hold a proper conversation.

Went in here and got served by a guy who acted like a arrogant turnip. He got the order wrong overcharged me and just shrugged his shoulders. I have a feeling these place will start closing soon as your customers are not as silly as you think they are.

Absolute mess need to fix up. Ordered via just eat. Ordered at 10:40 and the order was scheduled for 11:35. Kids were waiting for the food with us. At around 11:20 they re-scheduled it to 11:55. At this point my youngest son was struggling to stay awake. We phoned at 11:40 because my son was just about awake and wanted to sleep. They said 10, 15 minutes. After making the phone call we decided to wait in the front room. We later phoned at 12 and they stated that they had knocked on our door and no-one had answered so left. We were sitting in our front room so we would have heard if they knocked easily. We even checked our CCTV and no-one had approached our house. We requested they come back with the food. They then said it was too late and they were closing. My 4 year old son who struggled to stay awake, motivated by the thought of digging into a hearty meal went to bed empty-handed extremely disappointed. Absolute let down steer clear of this place. No regard for customers. Will not order again.

My kids favourite Dixy chicken place we been to 3,4 places of Dixy they all good services and clean but this place was so dirty went to use toilet accidentally 🙉🙊 can't believe it was in uk .. mangments needs to do something about cleaning will never go back again sorry .. but we must go to other Dixy chicken places 🐣😉

Ate in. 2.50 burger drink and chips. Yummy and fast. Why not? Clean restaurant, but toilets not so much.

They are really good the one thing that they could improve on is the time they take but there food is 5/5 but dilivery is 3/5 to is 4/5 overall

These guys are more than happy to serve you chicken at 8pm that has been sat around since midday. AVOID! Manager is a typical mirpuri Lann. You know the proper mangetar type Lann the type of lann-ness that has been passed down forefathers generations and will for generations to come. Mirpur in general is like a Lann playground, so it was downhill from day1 really. The guy behind the till is also a Lann, but the type of Lann whos Mrs wears the trousers (she also works there), so not too bad a lower scale Lann if you like.. Aside that, this place is great.

ZERO star if i could give . i have visited the dixy chicken yesterday and what a saw was totally UN acceptable .guy was on the till i think he was the boss as he wasn't wearing any dixy uniform and also ordering the rest of the staff .every few minutes he was touching his private part and keep pulling it .after a bit while he started making orders without washing hands .i feel so disgusted at that point . if i could give zero star i would give it to that place .i will not go back again .YUKK !!!

Visited with family on a cold Saturday afternoon, I have been going to other Dixy branches and live the food but this branches services has a lot to be desired, the lady behind the counter was slow to take the order and I had to repeat it a couple times, wanted to eat in but they packed it to eat out! She asked for our drinks order again after we had paid and had to go pick it up from the counter The branch has seating and is clean but no heating! Food was the same as any other branch and good but let down by no heating inside and rubbish service. I would try again in the hope they have someone else on the counter!

Ordered food for a collection, they forgot to put in some of the order and the jalapeño bites were so cold and not fresh! When rang back to ask and to reimburse me for having to come back I was offered a free can of drink! Appalling behaviour from staff as they would cut you off whilst trying to explain. Never ordering from here again.
