I had food poisoning after eating the grilled sea bass.

Where to begin. Although initially empty, me and my family, as tourists, decided to give it a try since the near Pizza Express took too long to take our order (the usual scenario where you ask the waiter for just 5 min to think about what to order and you never see them again) Our expectations were surpassed to say the least. We were offered 2 menus, one contained the whole set of items while the other was more comprehensive and to-the-point, offering a very cheap deal for STARTER + MAIN set just for £15 pp. This is a great deal compared to the not so cheap £28 pp deal at Pizza express for basically the same thing. Don't let this review fool you for it's optimistic take. We were surprised that at 3pm the restaurant did not have any clients, as you may see from pictures in other reviews. The starters were also of greater size that you would expect, so please expect to be full after the main course, so almost no space for dessert. However, the food quality was of high quality. Well seasoned and with great flavours. I believe it would be ideal for the waiter to explain the difference between the two menus so clients can enjoy the desserts available. If that wasn't enough, the owner gave us an on-the-house dessert, which I believe was made of pistachios, as a thank you for dinning. We were already extremely happy with the warm service from the waiters and the food, so this was a unexpected but very satisfying outcome. Congrats to the owner and waiters for outstanding service. I hope this honest review serves well for those who wish to experience and enjoy amazing food at a reasonable price. My first 10/10 review, well done!

Food was average but the price was high.

Very loud music, deafening at times. Interesting design, but I would say that the lighting fixtures are not suitable. The first time we were greeted very warmly and friendly, we came in during the last minutes of the kitchen opening, but we were still served and it was very fun. But the second time, the service made the opposite impression. There were two of us. Both ordered an appetizer (one large, the other small) and tagliatelle. But they brought the snack to only one, and they gave him the snack of the second. and the most interesting thing is that it’s not the same. We ordered liver and they brought sausage. Cocktails are not very good. Mahito created the feeling that it was ice, lemon juice and mint inserted. There was no alcohol. In response to a careful question, is it enough or should I add more shad, they brought a glass of vodka, asking me to top it up myself. The second cocktail, a Long Isle Ice Tea, was clearly unstirred. And also the request for a smaller amount of half a lemon juice was not satisfied. Some people will say this is correct, but I have a disgusting aftertaste after such a dinner.

The best Italian ever and such reasonable prices

Visited Dinnios today for lunch,were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a table of our choice,air con was on and working on a very warm day,which was lovely.really good wine and drinks list presented and also was very pleasantly surprised to find both Turkish and italian dishes available ! Garlic bread with cheese to start was best we've ever had(did ask for extra garlic and cheese),also had tempura prawns and panko prawns....delicious.main course of homemade lasagne and a kleftico(lamb shank) all was freshly cooked and hot,could not fault anything today...big thank you to all, Ps.....homemade desserts too were yummy 😋

Very lively atmosphere which created a good ambience but not a place to go if you want a quiet meal for two. It attracts large groups with celebration music and clapping if it is someone's birthday. Our service was very good and food too.

I honestly have no complains! I went there with my family and it was packed. Yet the service was very fast. Their menu had a big selection of food choices AND they had a separate vegan menu. They made sure they knew of the customers’ food allergies/intolerances and when they brought our foods they were delicious and served in very generous portions (my garlic bread was a pizza lol). The atmosphere was lovely, the decor was beautiful and traditional (reminded me of my homeland Cyprus) and the staff were polite. Lovely place in Hertford!

Very nice food and staff until they needed the table back. Shame about being rushed out the door. So much so that my friend was drinking their coffee in the doorway as the needed the table back to desperately.

Third time been to Dinnio and still hasn't disappointed. Food was great and decent service too.

This place is The absolute BEST! We visited for the second time and as soon as you enter the establishment, the staff make you feel so welcome AND better still we felt ad though it was a holiday vibe kind of atmosphere.... I could literally eat here EVERYDAY! the food is delicious and superb pricing. Worth every penny. The daughter and I will definitely return. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. X

I attended a birthday celebration in the upstairs function room. 24 attendees and we all served promptly and efficiency. The food was delicious and a great time was had by all. Thank you Dinnios.

Was seated in the upstairs private room for a special birthday of a friend. Room was beautifully laid out spotlessly clean. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Food came out promptly, even though there is a huge choice. Food was exceptional and I will definitely be returning in order to try more as was spoilt for choice. Thank you to all staff for making my friends birthday even more memorable with delicious food and atmosphere.

A great find! Delicious comprehensive menu specialising in both Italian and Turkish cuisine. Both menus offer up excellent standard of food.

Someone needs to tell you so I will: the menu is way too long. Pick a cuisine. The 'chilli sauce' that comes with the kebab should come with a 7+ warning because the chunks of onion and garlic are girthy enough to plug a child's throat. Pasta was over cooked, sauce both too rich and too watery all at the same time, a feat unto itself. The special hummus is random chunks of lamb kibble floating in a dry unseasoned legume massacre. Beer flat, water watery. Service was nice.

We had an amazing meal at Dinnio's! It was our first time and when booking online I explained we were there to celebrate our recent engagement. As soon as we arrived at our booking we were greeted by complimentary champagne and a lovely table. All the staff congratulated us and our dessert was brought out to song, clapping and a candle! We were made to feel really special and I am really grateful for the experience. Thank you guys!

Dinnio is a delightful Italian and Mediterranean restaurant with a broad menu and incredibly flavourful food. Service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend.

This restaurant has a nice warm feel, lots of wooden decor and panelling which reminds me of Centre Parcs 😂. The menu is very average at its core and mostly consists of pizza, pasta and kebabs all of which average from £15-£25. For what you get I think this place is rather expensive as even bread and dips will set you back £15 per person. However the food is tasty and it’s a very easy place to take kids as they can easily relate to the dressed up fast food that is the menu. They can get pizza, chips and spaghetti bolognaise which most kids love. The staff are great and service was amazing. The atmosphere is very loud and buzzy, lots of groups which looked like birthdays and hen parties/girls night out even on weekdays. In conclusion it’s a nice place with nice staff but provides a rather expensive and basic menu.

We had an amazing dinner after a rainy day of country walking. Lamb cutlets and lamb skewer were recommended and we loved them. Paired with the tri-color salad and sautéed mushrooms completed the experience. We were so full we passed on dessert. We will be back!

We use this restaurant regularly, and they never disappoint. Service was great as was the food.

Amazing food. Considering the do Mediterranean and Italian food, it's amazing how good both are. Very impressed, however it is a little on the expensive side.

Music was too loud. Staff friendly and helpful. Lamb Sheesh very tender. Borek was tasty.

Absolutely love it here, delicious food, good service and great location. Would recommend the ravioli, seafood pasta, carbonara, and especially the tomato pizza as a starter. Also the deep fried Brie!

Good food, very friendly staff pleasant experience.

Dined here last night and the food was gorgeous, especially the Ravioli. We also had the chocolate fudge cake and the cheesecake which were so rich and delicious. Service was great they were very attentive and even offered us a complimentary shot after we payed the bill. As they have two menus there are alot of options, maybe too many as you are spoilt for choice. Look forward to dining here again

Had lunch there today meeting up with family. Excellent food and service and a really extensive menu featuring Turkish and Italian food. Good value and they also offer a set lunch and a glass of wine for £20 but we all chose from the main menu. Wished we lived nearer as we would visit regularly. 2 minutes walk from multi story car park.

Fantastic experience great choices available served really well cooked superbly and staff knowledgeable helpful and friendly. Great place fir any occassion in my opinion. Will definitely be going again and again

Had a great time at Dinnio Restaurant last Friday for my brother’s birthday. The service was genuinely friendly, adding a nice touch to our laid-back evening. The starters were tasty, and the grill dishes, especially the lamb shish were a standout for me. My girlfriend loved the seafood pasta. Overall, it's a solid choice for a chill meal with friends. Thanks for the good vibes, good food, and attentive service. :)

Good food and attentive service...

I came here with my partner Friday 26th to celebrate his Birthday. I've called up the day before and told them SPECIFICALLY to sing happy birthday when he gets dessert. There was about 5 or more other birthdays that night and we watched all of them got sanged to and when it came to ours no one sang at all. I've called the server over and quietly told her what happened and then she asked if we wanted them to sing to us after we already got dessert which was an absolute joke. I then told the manager which was clueless to everything and did not even look like she meant her apology. Dinnio restaurant has definitely gone worse.... the wait times for food was very long aswell and the food is average. Servers has no clue of the menu or how to do a simple job properly and I'll know this as I've managed a restaurant for over 10 years now and the management and service in dinnio is just a waste of time and money. We have travelled a long way to celebrate My Partners Birthday and they RUINED IT. GET BETTER MANAGEMENT I MEAN ATLEAST GET STAFF THAT CAN SPELL AND WRITE MY NAME PROPERLY as they spelt my name wrong so they couldn't find my booking again what a joke . MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE ASSESSED AND FIRED AND WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I'LL MAKESURE TO TELL EVERYONE HOW TERRIBLE IT IS AND WE FELT IT WAS RACIST ASWELL!!!!! On top of all of this I told them to take off the £15 service charge and I did not leave a tip AS THEY DIDN'T DESERVE IT. THE BILL CAME TO £130 FOR 2 PEOPLE SO YES WE SPENT BUT REGRETTED EVERY CENT.

I had the special mixed grill. Definitely one of the nicest meals I've had. All the meats were perfectly tender.

Great place to eat. Food is delicious and good value for money. The menu is excellent.... both Turkish and Italian. Good quality food, well prepared and served quickly and piping hot. Great service and atmosphere and a lot of fun too given we were out for a birthday meal and the staff sang their version of Happy Birthday which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Nice service, clean and convenient location. Good choice of dishes, maybe too big. The food however lacks the extra bit in quality and taste, good but not amazing.

Was treated to a meal for my wife and I 60th Birthday's the food was very good and great flavors and the service we received was outstanding from all 3 of the staff.was a lovely touch when they realised it was our birthdays they put candles in puddings and happy birthday was played and all the staff and other customers were clapping. It's little touches like that which sets restaurants apart we will be back to sample some more of your menu keep up the good work.

We have ordered mix kebab, it was delicious and came with a special bread on top Superb service and good to have smiley faces around asking if I would like something else. Recommended.

This was the first time we had visited this restaurant. I had not researched restaurants in Hertford as we hadn’t planned on eating there. I was pleasantly surprised with the extent of their gluten free menu options. There was so much to choose from and boy, was it good. I had the falafel followed by the moussaka. So good that I had to ask the waiter if this was actually gluten free. It was and I enjoyed every mouthful. My husband ordered fried squid and lamb skewers from the regular menu. He said they were amazing, the meat was very tender. I can’t comment on dessert as we were too full to have any!

Really enjoyed our evening, food was spot on, staff friendly and attentive. I personally had the mixed grill and could not fault it. Will be recommending and coming back again soon!

Serhat is the most amazing waiter! He has recognised us each time and asked about additional family members… wow. The food is delishhh and the menu is so extensive that it’s always hard to know what to pick (every option is a good option). Portions are really decent and the rose wine is far too drinkable 😋

I had the mixed grill and the meat was cooled exquisitely. The lamb was especially tender and flavourful, and when I asked about it they told me they get the middle neck cut and marinade it for 24 hours.

I visited here for my 18 th birthday and I couldn’t recommend it more the staff was so attentive really know how to make a birthday feel special.Now don’t even get me started on the food I am a fussy and I have never tasted food better they were happy to take things out and put things in my dishes to make it perfect for me . It went perfectly from the moment I walked in the door . I would like to say thank you for the waitress who served us in our section I didn’t quite get her name but her costumer service was excellent

We went here for an earlyish dinner ,4 of us ,must say the food was very nice well cooked and presented, 2 of us had the sharing platter all was tasty and well made, we also had the chicken milanese and a kebab mix of chicken and lamb again all on point .The staff were attentive and polite and the price was very reasonable, I would definitely be going back there and would definitely recommend, thank you for a wonderful meal.

We ordered Delivery which was quick. I cannot speak for the other peeps but my pizza was a shambles. I ordered the quattro salumi and received an IKEA pizza. It came in a flat box and the pizza had the ingredients strewn across the top. Two large slices of meat lay uncut and untrimmed over the top of the pizza. I had to cut them into pieces to scatter across the surface of the pizza. I took a picture to show my friends. Nobody could believe that was presented as a pizza. Disappointment.

We went as a couple on Monday eve. We loved the busy but laid back atmosphere and fast service. The food was fresh and tasty even though they have a pretty extensive menu. I was not sure how to feel about the birthday song they played but it was short and fun! :) Furkan and the staff was really friendly. Cannot wait to go back again

SO incredible! The selection on the vegan menu blew me away and everything tasted beautiful, we left Hertford today and had to get more for take away today to take back to Wales! Really hope to come back soon and have more! Really wish this restaurant was in Wales as well

Is it Italian? Is it Turkish? I don’t really know and I don’t think the restaurant knows either. Their pitch is that half the menu is Italian and half the menu is Turkish, but in reality they don’t do either of them very well unfortunately. Food was completely overpriced and average to say the least. I’ve had stomach pains since and my 6 year old has not stopped breaking wind.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Hertfordshire. Great vibe and layout with brilliant service and delicious food. Tried rice for the first time and they served it up perfectly.

We had our Wedding lunch here and had the whole upstairs to ourselves, it was perfect. Thank to to all of the staff for a fantastic service as always. Huge thanks to the manager too for arranging everything just perfect for us. Just perfect.

Smart place with good atmosphere and service. Had a guy vaping at the next table which we didn't like. Staff did not seem to address this. Food ok. Drinks are expensive which will assist even more in resulting in a high end bill (with 12.5% service charge included) at the end of the evening! Expensive but ok for a special occasion.
