I love coming here for my daily coffee and coming with my family at weekends. Great coffee and nice selection of cakes! I've had lunch here too, good price and quick service and lovely coronation chicken. would recommend.

Just by chance we spotted this cafe had changed from Dingles to Nellie’s,so we decided to give it a try.We were not disappointed.Only had Americanos and pasteis de nata, but it was really nice and the coffee was good.Comfy seats and pleasant decor.Noticed they do lunches mainly jacket potatoes and ciabattas with fillings @£7.25.Definately going to try a lunch next time in town. Also it seemed to be run by a trust, with proceeds going to charity.Youngsters serving were very efficient.

Having been fans of the Driftwood cafe that was here previously we thought we would try out this new cafe. One oat milk late and one regular tea cost £7 which I found pretty pricey for Barnstaple. They offer nice looking cakes and the whole cafe is very prettily decorated. I won’t rush back at those prices though, sorry

Lovely place for a coffee or as I had a hot chocolate. Beautiful presented. Good selection of cakes and pastries. Staff very helpful, happy to move tables and chairs to accommodate our large group. Tastefully decorated for Christmas. Very pleasant experience.

A group of 10 of us met here for coffee today. Cosy and very pretty venue, now decorated for Christmas. Friendly and welcoming staff. I look at reviews and there are a few which are very negative and someone recently carped that a drink was expensive............. Well - my hot chocolate this morning was fairly priced as it came well presented, was piping hot and very chocolatey which suggests quality ingredients to me. I also had a croissant - that was well presented too - a lovely plate, knife - little extra touches make a huge difference. We all felt we'd had a real treat on a drippy November Monday. Thank you.

Paninis were tasty. Lemon drizzle cake was dry and didn't taste of lemon. Overall pretty expensive especially an oat chai latte at £6! on the drink specials board that had no prices on. Certainly wouldn't have ordered it if there were. Unfortunately we won't be returning

So pleased we found you, if we lived here, we'd be in every day. Perfect coffee, and I am really fussy, lovely fresh cake/ scones and the nicest sausage roll I've ever had. Plus lovely service, friendly welcome and everywhere was spotless. Well done and thankyou for a lovely experience.

We only stopped for coffee and glad we did, this is a lovely place with great coffee and wonderful service. But it’s the little design touches that delighted me, green and gold, even the sugar cube tongs and heart spoons were matched! Just lovely the thought that has gone into it 😀

Tried this new cafe for the first time and won’t be going back. Unfriendly staff - didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in . No high chairs. Scones were stale - very unappetising . And coffee average . A shame !

You'll find this little independent gem of a cafe down a side street on Barnstaple high street . Look for Joules and turn left and there it is on the right hand side. Comfortable seats and nice decor...a lot of effort has been taken to make this cafe welcoming. Coffee here is really delicious...smooth and lovely taste. Nice little touch are sugar tongs and sugar cubes Pastries are home made and it is hard to just have one as so many to choose from. Staff very welcoming and friendly South Molton honey is available to purchase . Will definitely return on my next visit to Barnstaple. Is also dog friendly .

Dingles is exceptional. A small business done really really right! Excellent coffee, incredible home made pastries (the sausage rolls are the best you can buy) and staff that make you feel truly at home. I don’t often write reviews but I really believe in what’s happening at Dingles. 5/5 amazing.

We were a large group dining here to celebrate two of our friend’s birthdays, and it’s safe to say we’ll be coming back to celebrate every occasion and more! The restaurant and outside spaces are beautiful, the staff were fantastic and really looked after us, and the food was exceptional!!

Excellent food, very imaginative, tasty and colourful. We had a small portion of savoury waffles (sweet potato), one with avocado, tahini, cumin and lime juice, the other with hummus, black beans and jalapeños. And kombucha to drink. This was our second visit and won’t be the last. Thank you for a memorable lunch.

Second visit to Rockleigh Takeaway and managed to have the Beef Stroganoff this time. Delicious it was too. As was the Thai Fish Curry. Really enjoyed it and generous portion too.

Another excellent stay at the guesthouse. Very good and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The food is out of this world, both breakfast and evening meal with a very extensive menu. The rooms are of a very high standard, beautifully fresh and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will certainly stay here again when visiting friends in the area
