Diep in Barnet

Been having takeaways since they opened on a regular basis but just lately orders have gone wrong and mains not as nice as they were at the start maybe change of chef but noodles still great

Ordered from Diep for the first time yesterday and can honestly say that the food in on another level to most other Thai places I’ve been to. I eat a lot of Thai food and this is by far the best I’ve had in NW London. Very surprised by some of the negative reviews here. Prices are also extremely reasonable given the quality and quantity of food I was given.

We used to order from Diep regularly. The last few times it’s been massively late (c2 hours after ordering) and at times incorrect. A shame they can’t be bothered to call customers to provide an update when it’s going to take so long.

Such a shame from the owner to raise the prices during this hard times. Used to buy from Diep almost every week. Then during the lockdown stoped for a couple of weeks. When i went back to pick up a new order I noticed the bill was higher. I called the shop and the girl told me that they had raised the prices (even though they were still serving and advertising the old prices). On top of that they had charged me extra for some ingredients that were already part of the dish and the most annoying thing was that they had made the portion smaller. After I complained, the girl said the management will contact me, it has been 3 weeks and no1 has bothered. Such a shame as they have lost a very loyal customer, especially during this hard times. Never going back

Food was cooked super fast, which is bad sign of not fresh food, literally took 3 minutes to do main and side dishes. Main was beyond salty and ribs were very dry in watery sweet sauce. Gross combination. Never ever again

The food in Diep is amazing. Full of flavour. I've eaten here many times and I am never ever disappointed. It is very reasonably priced and portions are very generous. The staff are always so welcoming and lovely. The eating area isn't big at all but it is a small restaurant. I would highly recommend going here.

Great quality Thai - sampled the Pad Thai and the Green Curry. The Deliveroo site was not clear that this did not come with rice (but I blame Deliveroo for this, not DIEP !)

I just visited Diep, located on the Finchley road near the lighting shop. This is the kind of food you dream of finding. Every thing fresh and cooked in minutes. It is well presented and aimed at home delivery. However there are a couple of tables where you can sit or a counter with stools. I ate in and had spring rolls that wee really good, followed by prawn Massaman curry. My surprise was first at the size of the prawns, large butterflied and fresh, then the quantity, served in a bowl with steamed rice. It was exceptionally good. Including a large bottle of sparkling water the total bill was £15.00, worth every penny and more. Highly recommended and I will be back for more!

Highly recommend this new place on Finchley Road - delicious Asian food, fair prices and great service. Will be returning!

The food was absolutely wonderful; from preparation to presentation. There was quick service and the staff were very helpful and had a fantastic attitude. I’d highly recommend to everybody. I’ll definitely be going back.
