Devon fish and chips in Teignbridge

Fish and chips sign outside is unclear of advertised price as rubbed away from window. Fish and chips soggy and a weird taste to the batter

Very generous portions of well cooked tasty fish and chips. The best value in town!

Food was great, but the service was incredible. Came in with multiple families and my youngest was being fussy with food and not choosing anything. The gentleman serving us bought her a drink and an extra plate without us mentioning anything. Really went the extra mile to make sure they felt included. Prices were great. Would highly recommend. Got a small fish and chips and the fish was huge. Great curry sauce as well.

Food was average, it wasn't so much about the food it was about the cafe.Hadbto asked for our table to be wiped over,as was stained and sticky,the whole place looked grubby the man bringing our food to our table was wearing a dirty tee shirt,I think environment health will have a field day.The worst place we have ever eaten.

Good portions, great chips and child-friendly.

No hygiene rating was suspect, but I gave the benefit of the doubt as it looked rugged but a touch charming from glance. Terrible manners, the two staff scratched, coughed and touched their faces in between food preparation and cooking, they microwaved my scampi before dropping it in the fryer, which at 190 degree oil is totally unnecessary, not one hand wash disinfectant spray or hand wash was had during the whole 5/10 minutes I was in there. The fryer oil has not been changed no doubt since before the weekend as small particles of burnt food covered my microwaved scampi and bobbly chips which haas been heavily salted and vinegary even though I asked for it not to be. No care, passion and the interior was drier than the street outside! The worst fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life. It was all very depressing.

Lightly battered and crispy coat of the cod, fish is tender and fresh, very tasty. Big portion, chunky chips! Recommend!

Friendly atmosphere with great customer service. Best food I've tasted while staying in Teignmouth. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are low. I would most definitely return again.

Called in for a cream tea, it was very dog friendly, the service was excellent and the cream tea was very good. A little gem of a cafe, well worth a visit.

Excellent fish and chips, friendly service. £6 for small(not) cod and loads of chips. As used by the locals - says it all.

I read the reviews and thought I would try this place, but the Cod was not nice the batter tasted nice but the cod was rubbery. I didnt like it at all. I have had better cod that was much tender inside.

Good range of food, good value and very fast. Went a bit mental with the salt though.

My new go to chippy in Teignmouth since takeover of 'Jolly Good chippy' and it's negative reviews. Med cod and chips less than £7. Close to wetherspoons and main bus stops.

We went to Teignmouth today and had fish and chips in the Devon fish and chips. I must say it was one of the nicest fish and chips I've had for a while. It was all cooked fresh 😋 nice and crisp 👌 and it was only £5 per person! I think it was a small meal but it was more like a medium size to me . I shall definitely be back it was great 👍

Fish and Chips cooked to order. Quality and portion size very good. Batter on fish nice, not all batter and minimal fish. Price very good. Tucked out of the way a little but we’ll worth finding!
