Devlin's CAFE in Solihull

Small businesses such as this deserve our support. Called in with my daughter whilst visiting local area.It was a good decision. Staff very friendly and obliging with good service. Spotlessly clean and coffee was good. Will return when next in the area.

Went for the first time since new management. What a lovely and cosy welcome. The girls were so friendly. A feel good factor. Only had hot drinks, but once lockdown is over, regular I think. Thank you for the cake, too, ladies.

Hay algunos buenos cafés donde vivimos, pero Devlin's se ha convertido en uno de los favoritos en nuestra casa. La comida siempre es perfecta ya un precio razonable. Sam, Becky y Sophie son todas estrellas. Parece que conocen a todos los clientes y son muy acogedores con familias jóvenes como la nuestra. Incluso con la locura de Covid siempre nos han hecho sentir bienvenidos y nunca hemos tenido una mala comida allí todavía. ¡Seguid así! Muy recomendable

Estos chicos son encantadores y los precios son muy razonables. Tomé un desayuno abundante y los huevos fueron los mejores que he probado en mi vida, de alguna manera se las arreglaron para tener yugos completamente fluidos pero sin nada de crudos. La calidad del resto había sido excelente y el servicio era increíble. Parecía tan amigo y familiar orientado; ¡conocían a todos allí! Siempre iré de nuevo x

I've popped into this location many times in the last few years as I've really enjoyed the quality breakfast items there. I visited today not realising it had changed hands and was disappointed to find there is new ownership and standards aren't as good as they were. It is not bad food, just not as good - smaller and poorer quality sausages, no longer serving HP sauce, tomatoes put on a sandwich without draining the juice so it became soggy and difficult to pick up, and no drinks available from the coffee machine. To be fair I was offered a standard coffee instead of the mocha I ordered but that wasn't what I wanted. It will be interesting to see if the cafe remains as popular as it was, especially as there is another one a few doors away. Hopefully these are early teething problems and the new owners will improve standards.

I have been here several times for just a drink, breakfast and lunch. The owner Sam and her team are realy professional and helpful and they cant do enough for you. The food I have always ordered has been excellent and I have taken several people with me, one of them being my father who is 91 and very fussy and he loved his bacon sandwich which is a fantastic compliment, coming from him :) I have booked the Cafe for a private evening birthday event and nothing was too much trouble for Sam in what I wanted.
