Fabulous veggie samosas at a good price. Lasted several days!

Just called to ask if they could make 20 chappatis and they abruptly said "no we are too busy", I am posting this to make the owner is aware more than anything else.

Purchase some cooked but raw samosas. They were extremely soggy and very hot with chillies. Totally disappointed and I drove for an hour to get them for our guest. Also we spent a lot of money and were going given a single point of sauce for 15 people. Totally disgusted and I won't be going again. I'm very surprised that this shop is still open Won't be going there again.

Always spot on, price, service, quality

Very disappointed put in an big order for fresh mithai and food but it was stale. This shop is ok for food to eat straight away or take away but avoid for big orders. Really poor. Unfortunately a desi pindu style shop where customer service is non existent.

Best curries in Bradford/Leeds. Really love the samosas and bread pakoras. The bean and potato curry was especially delicious! Highly recommended. Great helpful and friendly staff too:-)

Fabulous food, highly recommend this place. My friends and I particularly love the fact that everything is home made based on family recipes, using fresh produce only. The samosas are second to none. Thank you!

I do hope the owner takes notice of this review and makes some positive changes to the shop. In the past one month, I have been to the shop 4 times, and every time I am told the kitchen has closed. It doesn’t matter if it’s 10am or 5pm, I have received the same response. My latest visit was today, and basis my past experience, I went in at 3:30pm ( 90 minutes before closing, Sunday timings) and got the same response “Kitchen is closed”. No apologies nothing. It seems the ladies working in the kitchen are least bothered about the business and evidently lazy as NOBODY closes kitchen 90 minutes before closing. My advice to the owner: if you can’t do hot food then perhaps close down the fresh food counter and only continue your supply chain. Also, please advertise your EXACT shop (and kitchen!) timings on Google and shop till. It’s literally the basic etiquette of running any business. Do read other low rated reviews, I do hope you learn something and improvise. All the best. PSA to customers- on my first visit, I had bought a few things off the display counter. I can confirm that those were at least 4-5 days old as everything was extremely dry. Plus they were tasteless. Save your money and go somewhere else.

all vegetables sabji daal taste are very good,somosa taste totally Desi.daily fresh production of all materials.

Great shop with a wonderful selection. Cash only but an ATM is only a 5 minute walk away.

Ordered 36 veg samosas by phone for pick up in 45 minutes, all was good and on time. The best thing was the samosas were very tasty, proper Punjabi style! Well done!!

Average , but convenient. Spring rolls and samosas are average not the best , the mithai ( Indian sweets ) are usually hard or off, not good. The Sabjis ( curries ) are mostly out of date or at least 4 days old , and this isn’t a joke. The man who works there with glasses also needs to be a bit more trained. Overall 3 and that’s a bit of a push , it’s only saved because of the Samosas, spring rolls and convenience.

It is good. But I went to collect an order and was told to wait. When the gentleman came to the till my order was already there on the side waiting for me. I.e made me wait for 10 mins for no reason. Product is good but customer service is terrible. When I asked for saag one day a guy just laughed at me and said no chance, we’re too busy with samosa orders. Could do with customer service training to be honest. Products are good though!!

Lovely samosas very reasonable priced. They sell frozen or fried samosas and many other vegetarian food bhaji etc. Curries and chappati available to takeout or eat in. Few Booths available.

I bought pakora, stuffed bread, stuffed chilli, two curry's everything was so salty it was like some one closed there eyes and dumped all the box of salt .I had to throw all the food in the bin because I have high blood pressure if I had eaten that food I would've end up in the hospital. This is my 3th time trying their food .1st time I found small stone in the samosas 2nd time both curry's were off they smell really bad .Please be careful when you bought food from the Desi sweet shop in Pudse

Best Indian Punjabi Food ever I had in England.. Love Samosas and sweets ..

Bought 2 Samosa Chaat and found 2 small stones in my daughters food, I complained and only got an apology and was also told it cant be them because he cannot understand how the stones got in the kitchen. He had no apron on and kitchen staff also had no apron on, he was wearing a sports zip jacket on and had probably been wearing the same clothes from home and work. With covid-19 not having the full protection is not protecting the customers, he probably didn’t understand that either.

You ll not get better samosas anywhere. ..

I bought a packet of frozen aloo tikkis from Mor Foods in Southall. It was made by Desi Sweets Pudsey . No taste at all .. seemed like Atta instead of Aloo. Please be wary and don't buy or eat. It seems to cheat people who have not eaten aloo tikki before. Will not be buying it again and will advise family and friends against doing so

I placed an order here a few days ago for a work party i got a large quantity. Everyone loved them they went down great and price is reasonable to.. people commented they are beautiful and asked where i got them from even asking for directions the peeps that were from Bradford:).. i was first a bit skeptic looking at some reviews others have left but am glad i tried it and have made my own judgement.. i think i will be paying another visit soon enough as my family want some to as i came home empty handed after the work party.. hope this helps if you are in two minds as i am bad for checking reviews before i try a business myself

Sweet had an unpleasant smell that was not fresh......Samosas were not well fried....Tea was like a warm water didn't have any taste when we complained she didn't give any prompt response!! We went from Bradford to Pudsey specially to eat samosa chat & sweets but I'm so disappointed..

Rude service, dirty tables. Left without buying anything as no one wanted to serve me. I won't be going again. If I was you I would go to the sweet centre in Bradford instead.

Went in no one serving so waited. Rang bell. No one came. Rang bell again. No one came. Heard people in the kitchen. Went and shouted hello thinking the bell mustn't work. A lady came out and told me to wait and went bank in the kitchen talking. So I left. Totally rude. Terrible service. Won't go again .

Bought some samosas and spring rolls. Was very disappointed with the manners of the staff. Pushy and more concerned about her mobile ringing. No please or thank you. Lack manners. The spring rolls had an unpleasant smell when complained by phone i was told fried fresh! That does not mean are fresh!!! Will not return

Great Indian sweets and savoury things

Not the best experience as food was cold when I have just ordered 5 minutes ago not acceptable and food also tasted as if it was from more than a couple days ago.

Great indian food, samoseh are high quality and very well known around the UK. Spring rolls are nice and crispy (when made fresh). Sometimes can be too spicy, so ask for less spice and they will make fresh ones for you (if you can wait). Service is always top notch! Reccomended.

Very disappointed on this occasion. we bought 10 samosas and 10 spring rolls. We got home, the samosas were fine but the spring rolls were off. I called straight away but aunty was adamant they'd only made them today fresh for some programme. There was no apology! If we lived nearer we would have returned them but as we are not we could only call and let them know. Very disappointed, we will definitely not be returning!

Una muy buena del norte de la India - Centro punjabi comiendo. Paranthas llegar con chapattis y delicioso, además de Lassi ¡curry ! . La comida parece como si tener comida en casa. Aparte de estos artículos para la pareja del centro también tienen las dulces desi y comida caliente. También algunas veces preparar sabrosos y picantes encurtidos

El lugar está en la autopista y es una cena muy pequeña alrededor de asientos 10 personas, bien si no han cargado las mesas y las sillas con cajas de paquetería :-). El lugar es bueno para sus dulces y salados. No puedo prometer que son nuevos pero pide un bocado pequeño, gusto y si sabe bien adelante :-). Los naans y puris Roti y son el hogar propio estilo y preparación hizo sale caliente y sabor muy agradable (puede ser el único punto destacado en lo que a mí respecta). Los subjis gravys/currys/están preparados y son climatizadas en un microondas a pedido!! Así que podría haber sido en el display durante semanas para todos sabemos. El servicio es muy lento. Ah sí, estaba a punto de olvidar. No PIDE UN VASO DE AGUA. Los vasos SON LAS PEORES QUE SE PUEDE ENCONTRAR EN NINGÚN OTRO SITIO. Comprar usted mismo una bebida embotellada y ahorra. Están abiertas desde el mediodía hasta principios 19:00

Yo recuerdo como un niño mis padres me lleva a la carretera en Coventry a Foleshill conseguir dulces indios y he sido adicta desde entonces. Después de conducir el pasado muchas veces en la nueva familia de visitas, llevé a mi hijo de aquí para conseguir algunos para probar. Dulces muy buena aunque no tienen ningún jalebi así que conseguí algo que parecía un poco como 'bits' en vez jalebi. Si alguien puede decirme qué se llama luego ir adelante! Los sabrosos platos que recogí fueron buenas también. Casa de estilo (por lo que yo sé de mi experiencia) chili paneer, chole/lentejas, channa/pea chick curry y aloo ghobi/coliflor y patatas al curry. Todo muy bonito, el paneer y la coliflor una excelente. Había una opción de 4, así que me dieron uno de cada. Creo que también hay un menú desplegable y sin duda, puede sentar porque había gente haciendo precisamente eso. También conseguimos green chili pakora, pan y cebolla bhaji pakora... y algunos pickle de mango desde el mostrador. El green chili pakora era excelente. Mi única queja fue la falta de jalebi dhals, y que el era muy salada, pero supongo que es una cuestión de gusto. A menos que vivas en ciertas zonas tienes que hacer un esfuerzo para llegar a casa - Cosas estilo así que fue práctico para llamar aquí en ruta. Fuimos para los dulces, salió con ellos además de pickle además de una comida familiar para esa noche y el almuerzo del día siguiente. Por £22.
