Desi Star in Oldham

Been twice and won’t come again. Both times got charged more than the displayed prices and I then had to wait 15 minutes for 2 samosas (was told 5 minutes when I ordered and would’ve gone elsewhere had he been honest about the wait time due to the frier not even being turned on until I ordered) and in the end the food is definitely not even worth waiting for. Avoid people, honestly. I only gave it a 1 star because 0 isn’t possible. Threw 1 of the 2 away and half of the other. Sorry bin!

The food was overcooked, the service was zero, this people shouldn't open the business. They gave me my takeaway and when i opened to eat on my car i found no sauces no ketchup No Mayo, no salt no pepper, no Tissues. And the prob I asked him when I ordered my food. It was my last time going there and I wont never going again.

Worst food I've ever eaten, chips are somehow overcooked and undercooked at the same time (burnt and solid in the middle, frozen mushy chicken burger also burnt and underdone on the inside. The place needs shutting down! Absolutely disgusting!

Worst fried chicken ive had in my life ,order 3 pieces of chicken meal ,2 of which were under cooked ,chicken binned ate the chip ,didnt even smell nice.wish id taken a photo.

Food was awful taste. Peri peri wings were not cooked properly. When I opened the take away order in the car, Can you imagine there was no tissue no mayonnaise, ketchup not even separate or in the burger. I will never go back to this shop again. Unprofessional staff and food is not tasty as well.

Man charges 50p for sauce. Rammed our order for 4 people and drinks in 1 bag. Change of price on items when u order to whats being displayd on the leaflet And food isnt even all that. For same price you can eat from HFC CHICKEN oldham which is not far to from this place and 100 times better

I order 2 pizzas spice one but no spice pizza taste like card board.i am not going to order again from Desi Star.if I could I give them 0 star

I called in at 8pm on Friday night.only me in the place..I ordered 3 chicken pieces and chips..I was told 10mins.. 10 mins came and went.i asked again and told just starting to cook it now another 10mins..so I asked for my money back as I was in a rush...its a dirty looking place and only one staff..NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN..

The grilled chicken was not grilled just it was like boiled and whole food was taste less I just bin my money .this was my first time order to them will be last one also .if someone want to waste money then they can order them..

Worst Nd unhygeinic place and food ,,i ordered pizza has mould on it ,i went there with pizzas but they didnt accept it and evwn not give my money back ,,plz check and chips in light special back part of piza,,stay away this kind of food

Unhygeinic and worst food ever,,ordered 3 pizza 2 of them has mould ,,try to sort it out but they said you can complain wherever you want also said proper clean pizza with green chilies,,stay away these kinds of takeways,special families who has kids. They deserve 0 star i wish i can give them

They just started fried chicken today... I just tried his fresh spicy chicken burger... wow.. ..the chicken melted in my mouth so soft and delicious.. best I've ever had

Food not nice and prices are rip off... quality of food is nowhere near the price they charge for the food.... would definitely recommend NOT to come here... your wasting your money.... don’t fall for the other reviews on here you can clearly tell they’ve been given by family members

The wrap and chicken burger was delicious 😋 my son they loved it . I would try the pizza 🍕 next time.

dont charge people 50p if they wanna pay by card it's been illegale since 2017 ,,,and dont be rude with your staff I'm not giving 1 star because the food was good

Absolutely loved there asian style pizzas i didnt realise we had some awesome quality pizzas down the corner will definetly order again

Good food and good customer service

Not only did our food come 20 mins late, chips were cold and dry. Theres no difference between the beef and cheeseburger and the pizza is mediocre at best. Not ordering from here again.

Not impressed with the temperature of the order delivered. Looks like No procedures in place for keeping food at correct temperature.

Arrogant worker. Mis-leading customers on prices. Was given a price off a special offer over the phone from his worker and when I went in given a completely different price, and made it out like i was lying. Please dont get mixed up with ashis on Oxford Street they are two completely different takeaways. Was told they are ashis star. Wouldn't recommend seriously the customer service is garbage.

Food was mushy and barely spicy never order this completely disgusting the coke can was smashed I wouldn't eat this a billion pounds
