Desi Khanna in Wandsworth

today i place an order and i have to wait for my order all food we bought home nothing was fresh all rubbish my family didnt like food at all guys i would say other places are much better and fresh food i would give 0 point

Ordered Lamb Biryani and got chicken biryani and ordered Half Tandoori Chicken and got 2 Garlic Naan delivered yesterday. You cannot make it up!!!!! Was so mad at when i the wrong food delivered. Will never order again from this place. Absolutely Terrible!!!!

Ordered through Fusion Kitchen (this is the link from their website) @ 10.15, online it said for delivery @ 12.35 but the confirmation email said 13.35. Not received by 13.50 so I called to ask where it was, initially they hung up on me (I was not rude), I called back and was told they're waiting for the driver and went through the order and everything was correct. 14.10 I receive a call from Fusion Kitchen advising it will be delivered in 10 minutes, order arrives at 14.35 (15 minutes after I was advised it would arrive). The order was missing a samosa (this was confirmed @13.50), called to complain, initially I was hung up on (I wasn't rude), called back and was told sorry, maybe ask for a refund or ask for a free one next time. There will be no next time, avoid like the plague regarding the delivery service. Obviously this is not taste related and generally I do not leave reviews (positive or negative) but really poor service from both Desi Khana and Fusin Kitchen.

Walked in to order a take away. Found out I could have saved 10% if I’d ordered the same but online instead of in person. I don’t quite understand the business model as it discouraged me from buying in person. Nice tasty food though so gets a few points for that. Portion size also a little small. Other nearby restaurants offer more food but not quite as authentic imho. Come on Desi Khana. I know you can do better. Also, Why no NHS discount?

Good Food, But got ripped off again, and so last time visiting. I used to order in bulk during the pandemic, takeaways to a value of £200 each time, so that the kids could have something different for a few days. Desi Khana priced to be a popular choice, the food was great, the prices reasonable, and so a great place to order from. Furthermore if you ordered takeaway from their website, it gave you 25% off. However after a few times, I noticed they started to slip in their standards, and started to reduce portion sizes. The last time I ordered was back in November last year, and I was frustrated that after waiting for an hour delay at the restaurant for the food pick up, despite giving them 5 hrs notice, the food parceled was a rip off in terms of quantity to each container. Normally the food was filled to the top of each container, but the last few times it was half full. I did complain, and they did say it was their mistake, but this happened once before, and so it was disappointing that they may be doing this to other patrons, knowingly.

Tasty dishes and good prices. Too spicy and oily. Some days the same dish is really spicy and oily and some days medium. So spicy that its like eating acid. One of the managers is rude and not attentive

Tasty food with good portion size. Good value for money. Food is delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place

We found this restaurant almost by chance having noticed their grill and traditional bread oven (not sure the name!) and got excited! The experience did not let us down, freshly baked roti, amazing curries, all very reasonably prices! Definitely going back!

There is a lot of variety to choose from. Food was tasty and budget friendly. Overall we received good service!

The food was amazing mild for me spicy for my friend she even asked for extra chilly and they kindly put it for her excellent value for money and great location.

Desi khana did not provide us with our full order and charged us an extortionate amount for two naan and some saalan. The place looked dirty too. Save yourself the hassle and go to the superior, better value and cleaner Lahore Karahi or Dawat up the road instead.

No taste of Indian food it was so bland. Ordered 2 lamb curries and one chicken Korma curry. Completely without a curry flavour. Only flavour tasted was garlic, ginger and chilli. Absolutely nothing like a curry. BIG, HUGE improvements need to happen in this restaurant in order to experience an authentic curry flavour, or this place will be closing down! 1/10 for effort! YUK! Better flavour from a supermarket curry and that about sums up this place!

The Byriani was ok- didnt have a curry with it like it should hav, but for a £5.50 it was amazing value and tasted good. My mates had Jalfrezi and really rated it. Will come back and try another dish or their kebab next time. It looks like nothing a basic cafe/takeaway but it is a great find and very good prices

Have been eating here for 7 years. Excellent ambience, Guaranteed a good time with friends. Fresh tasty naans. Highly recommend the whole chicken and naan offer.

Desi Khanna is one of the most authentic Indian food joints here. Loved the taste and pleasing staff.

There were long lines at Lahore Karahi and Dawat on a Saturday night so I ended up here. It is a hole in the wall with mainly carnivore centric dishes. However, I managed to get saag paneer, naan and veg biryani. The saag was quite good. However, the biryani was really a pulao and not a biryani. Just good for a good bite.

Not too expensive bur freshly made typical real flavours of Pakistani food. Good for a quick bite in or a take-away. Good prompt service.

Llegamos alrededor de las 9:00 pm para nuestra primera visita y seleccionado una amplia variedad de aperitivos con pan recién cocinado nan a acompañar. Estaba delicioso y muy sabroso y abundante. El personal estaba bajo una presión considerable, pero era muy agradable y pudimos discutir los preparativos de la comida con ellos. Nos enteramos más nuevo!Una gran parada en boxes y volveremos pronto.

way too much oil in their food the curries are 90% oil and 10% other ingredients. Price is ok though just food is too oily

Barato y alegre, un poco dejado en su interior, pero este lugar tiene el truco. Una buena variedad de curries visible a través de la encimera de vidrio, grandes porciones y sabrosa comida. Consejo del día es no ordenar artículos diversos, ya que las porciones son bastante grandes y abundantes y sí, volvería allí otra vez.

Este restaurante tiene potencial. Los precios son muy buenos. Sin embargo, la calidad de la comida no es muy coherente. Si pudieran mantener la calidad, consistentemente, entonces sería un gran lugar para cenar en el restaurante o para llevar.

I have had better currys from tesco! The food was awful, extremely oily and lacked any flavour. The guy who served me was extremely rude. I will not be returning ever again...

Amazing value and tasty with authenticity. Great lunchtime stop whilst I was working in Tooting and something I haven't experienced before. Great variety of food and it's all displayed with their freshly baked naan breads.

Como yo lo intentaría está saturado con un número siempre creciente de curry, un lugar que sirve y satisface los insta a un curry junto con no romper la hucha es siempre una opción bienvenida. La comida aquí es buena (no importa que) bien pero el precio es el más atractivo. Ideal para esos días donde no te gusta cocinar nada pero pasamos el mes pasado pagar hora en un Rolex.

We have eaten here many times over the last year since moving to the area. Doesnt look much from the outside but the food is really tasty and excellent value. Will be back in the next week or so.
