Desi Khana in Leeds

Ordered late night, missing items in my order and THE NAAN WAS NOT FULLY COOKED! The dough inside the naan was raw and inedible. When called up to complain they refused to admit it wasn’t cooked, said they would send more food and whilst left to wait whilst they spoke amongst themselves we heard them SWEARING at us in Punjabi (which ofcourse we understood as Pakistanis) and then continued to say they can’t send food. Absolutely awful customer service and awful food. Will never order from there again and would not recommend!

The service is terrible my food has not come twice in one month with no refunds either never order from this place. I have just found out that it also happened again 3 days ago absolutely appalling do not recommend, should shut down!

Came relatively fast but it's mostly just frozen items reheated. In my case it came quickly and I got what I was delivered. Wings are terrible, calzone edible, would not recommend but if its the only place open in Leeds late at night alongside the chain of connected restaurants based in roughly harehills, it will actually deliver. Saying that I do not know if they steal another companies name or not as "desi khana" officially dissolved business wise a couple years ago. order something generic that cant be screwed up.

We ordered our food around 2 am and we got our food around 3:30 am too much wait And no one responding ……… stay away worst place to order or eat

This was the worst service ever. I ordered food at night, and the app said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting an hour, the food still hadn't arrived, so I called them. They said it would be there in 10 minutes and that the driver was on the way. I waited another half hour, but the food still didn't come. I called again, but they didn't answer. Eventually, they delivered the food, but it took about 3 hours. When I asked for a refund, they just said sorry for the delay and refused to give me one. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant. I'll never order from here again.EVERRR.....😡🤬

Waited way too long for the food for it to be absolutely disgusting. Way too spicy to a point it wasn’t enjoyable. Very disappointing because my money could’ve gone somewhere else.

I regret not taking photos and uploading them for you people here to see. I'm aware of all the negative comment for this takeaway and that's just others experience, i didn't let it put me off placing an order and i didn't regret it not one bit. I placed order on JustEat and then i did a follow up call - called up this takeaway and a lovely lady answered the call and confirmed that my order is being prepared. My experience was top tier today. I ordered a parmesan with chips and a nutella waffle late at night/early hours of the morning via delivery. Fantastic portion size, clean presentation, tasty and very quick delivery to my postcode which is a good 10-15 minutes drive away from this takeaway. I was given a call to say my food delivery is outside, i attended the delivery and went back inside my home to tuck in to the food. Was delicious. 10/10 experience 👍

Made an order on just eat, over an hour later asked just eat for an update. received a text message saying driver couldn’t find me so to call. Called them and the lady on the phone said they hadn’t even made the order yet but she was going to start making it and that she had been trying to call me, LIE! I had no missed calls or anything. Hence me waiting for over the hour. Really bad business and wouldn’t ever order again. Stay away

Charge for food but then decline order and do not give u a refund and when called them told me they can’t do anything about it and hang up the phone and be so rude I would never order from here it’s a scam they just rob you keep away

Took my order at 5am for a delivery at the price of 23.00 . Qas told order on the way 45 mins later still waiting. Absolute robbery will be going down to the store tomorrow to get my money back.

My son ordered from here in the early hours last night and he left me some chicken dopiaza i have just had it for my lunch and it is the best i have tasted for years and i am 65 yrs old.!! Will definately be getting from here .

Very bad taste. Took 1.5 hrs for delivery.

Worse place I have ordered from and that’s without trying the food! Ordered food early hours in the morning, 1 hour went past no food, another hour nothing. Couldn’t get hold of the takeaway either. Eventually I gave it up as a bad job, tried to get my money back from food hub and they said the takeaway said it was delivered. Which was the biggest lie as why would I waste 3/4 days trying to get a refund. AVOID AT ALL COST. Place should be shut down scamming people of money.

How can this kuffar place still operate? It's not legit business given it uses other local businesses trading names illegally. Your food does not come usually but payment taken. If by miracle it comes, it doesn't come from the claimed addresses of business. Few years ago Leeds Council fined the basterd £15k for food safety breaches. Order at ur own risk, and use all the delivery "tricks" to screw this scammer at every opportunity, it's well deserved.

Food ordered for 12 midnight Come 1am no food Started calling no answer 2am no food Called multiple times Gave up Went and got sandwiches from a petrol station luckily close by. Was woken by a phone call from driver at 3.30am with food saying it was busy. Declined the delivery! Communication is next tonone

HORRENDOUS SERVICE, im a regular customer, you can only order through just eat there contact number does not work which means extra charge on cash orders, also ordered mix grill got 8 lamb chops instead and ordered 8 'grilled tandoori King prawns' they where literally plain and fried!!

Ordered online, no confirmation after the payment online. Not answering the phone.it has been 35 minutes and can't get in touch with the takeaway.

Made a mistake by going to this place, chicken was off, salad was old whilst i was eating a member of staff were scratching his back another picking his nose, on the way out i had a can of drink which I already paid for! I was asked, have you paid for the drink??? Never again

I get Donner meat from here as It is fresh non greasy and has a cooked colour into it not like most places I've been where its pale and greasy. This desi Khana is a good place. Also has seating area.

Ordered two masala fish today. There was no taste at all . No spice even no salt Feel like rubber

Left to wait almost two hours. After almost 20 calls to find out where they were was forced to visit the place.. Told they won't answer the phone when busy... Very rude. When googling them to leave my review I find they were rated zero stars..... Lucky lucky escape!!! Thanks for your appreciation to your customers. Too busy taking other customers money in store to even answer the phone... Not that thought at one point they did answer... I say hello... They hang up... Disgusting. If too busy they can't deal with customers chasing up their order stop taking more until those who have already ordered have received theirs... If this lack of service is disregarded when busy... What else is being skipped in the back ground.... Eurghhhh.

Once upon a time the food used to be nice. Today I got the same meal I always do and it was practically inedible. How can you mess up a burger so bad it can't be eaten. I'll just have to find another burger place. Lucky for me I have lots of choices.

We visited this place a few times and order online sometimes. The KEBABS are not that special but the pizza when you make your own and collect it is usually the best choice to get a great looking pizza with the correct toppings and piping hot. Because delivery can take 40mins buy collections are normally 20mins.

Been to several places to eat and can say this place Desi Khana is one of the best I have been to. Food is fresh and delicious, nice friendly staff. Would highly recommend!! 👌😀

Horribal place I have ever seen in leeds.

We frequently order from this place through Just Eat because the curries are actually really tasty. However - every time we have ordered from them, there is always more than 3 items missing. Then after asking them to re-deliver the missing items, they refuse. Our most recent order, we got the set meal deal and this time - more than half our entire order was missing (6 items missing to be precise). So I called the restaurant, who then lied to me saying 'the deal we ordered had been cancelled as of that week' which is a lie, they just couldn't be bothered to send out missing items. Why would the deal be suddenly cancelled if it is still available to be ordered and paid for on the Just Eat website? Even if the deal was cancelled, it should be delivered if customers pay for it. They need to sort out their customer service - because the curries are great, but are being let down by the people there!

We ordered chicken masala, paya and chicken wrap with chips. I dont know about paya and chicken masala but my chicken wrap was HORRIBLE. tasteless and dry because for sure not fresh. Portion of chips were small and AGAIN it was dry. Ordered salad as well but received peace of cucumber, tomato and onions. We asked for coke as well with wrap and chips but they didnt put...never again! Worse take away in my expierence. Had few bites of food. Waste of money.

The worst food ever, I just ordered, the donner was burnt and taste less. So much oil. Chips were just heated up. No coleslaw. Food was disgusting, save your time and don't order from these lot
