Nice spacious room & with good restaurant too

Just amazing all round. The staff, the rooms and the breakfast was probably the best selection I have ever seen from cooked full English to cereal, pastries and fruit. The hotel is yards from the beach and about 5 mins walk to the Swansea Arena. Parking was £5 a night but convenient. You can walk to town in around 10 mins at an easy pace. The staff were superb.

Date of stay Sat 8th Feb. Hotel immaculately clean. Staff were great, best staff service at a hotel for a long time, could not do enough for you, especially the lady greeting us at breakfast and receptionist who checked us in. Rooms dated and really cold heaters not working only a small portable radiator but rooms were immaculately clean. Shower I thought was a bit dangerous very hard to turn the controls for temp, shower looked old but bathroom was lovely and clean. We stayed in room 412.

Fantastic hotel, good food, great staff and perfect location

Not great. Shocking how a hotel like marriot doesn't stock sanitary products... Later to find out there was some in the toilets, whereby I wasn't informed. Room was nice No amenities in the rooms, not even a shower cap, which was a little dissapointing. Staff are nice

They do not valid your parking for othe events held at their hotel. Highly annoying 😑

Fantastic location and fantastic service from the staff. Unfortunately let down by the standard of the rooms and lack of amenities. This is more a 3.5 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel. This is DEFINITELY NOT your typical Marriott hotel and for the price you pay, I would say it’s a rip off. Gave a 3 star rating for the location and staff

This is THE perfect place for a Swansea Christmas: each guest room got a gift from Santa overnight, & a truly lovely champagne brunch with poppers. Staff care & service is exceptional. Excellent location. Restaurants & pub are on site & very festivals meals are available for Christmas. We were indeed touched by the staff's many extra touches to make the a really great & festive Christmas. The marina view is worth it.

Very disappointing experience at Swansea Marriott. Wanted to take my father for a nice sunday lunch since he was visiting, said he's never had a bad experience at marriott so to try there. Called up to book, ask specifically if they would be providing sunday lunch, answer was yes so went ahead and booked for 1pm. When we arrived, we were first disappointed to learn that restuarant patrons do not get free parking, only hotel guests. Then went to the restuarant where the lights were off and staff were cleaning in there. Confused, we asked at the bar about Sunday lunch to be told the restaurant doesnt open until 6pm and they dont do sunday lunch anyway. Nothing to do but make the best of it we thought, so ordered food from the bar menu. Soup was lovely, but fish and chips were pretty poor. Chips were cold, mushy peas were thick and tastless, fish was undercooked with a soft, wet batter. Bar staff were lovely though, can't fault them, but overall very disappointed with out visit. We were the only ones there and its clear why, all style and no substance.

Right on the beach, Cast Iron Grill was great for dinner in the evenings. Rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful!! Had a great stay here for 5 days, will stay again next time in Swansea.

I stay about 50 nights in hotels yearly. the staff at the best. they make it feel like staying with family, and will do everything they can to look after you. the rooms are the best you'll find in swansea. always spotless. and the breakfast is superb.

Clean and comfortable, not the newest hotel though.

The hotel misleads by showing picture of the tower - the hotel is not the tower you see in the picture but a much smaller building near to it. We saw that tower building in the picture and got mis-led that we would have sea view. This Delta hotel hardly has any sea view and is a small building next door. This is absolutely unlike Marriott and probably the Delta integration still does not carry the Marriott values. We are big fans of Marriott including being elite members - this one was disappointing!

Didn't stay here. Just dropping my parents off. (I have stayed here in the past though). The room is spacious and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food, has a decent beer selection and service was second to none. Highly recommend

Comfortable stay. Good options at bar/restaurant. Outstanding staff (Monika in particular) went out of their way to ensure that we celebrated the memorable occasion in style.

It was all around a very good experience from start to finish, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The waiter who served us our evening meal was excellent and recommended the chicken burger, which was very nice and would highly recommend. Thank you all.

Wonderful hotel and great location next to the marina. Enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Well located on Swansea beach, next to the Arena and walking distance to the city centre. The hotel is in good condition throughout and staff very welcoming and friendly. A couple of problems with housekeeping - room not made up by 3.30 on one day and tea/coffee not refreshed on another. Both sorted quickly by reception. Great marina view from our room. Disappointing to pay ,£200 per and then be expected to pay £5.00 per day for the hotel carpark

Stayed overnight as we were seeing a show in Swansea Arena. Great, central location. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, checking in was super easy. Room was lovely; large, clean, well equipped with an amazing view of the marina. Breakfast was good and Lynn was fantastic - top notch service. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

I have stayed here many times, and the standard is very high, great staff etc etc An issue seems to have come up since the move to the Delta brand, I have been a life time titanium for over 5 years, but according to the system at the hotel I was graded a platinum member, this is a Marriott issue not the hotel, but . Titanium benefits are not considered during room allocation, I e upgrades as a titanium you get offered the best room available which obviously did not happen on this occasion again not the hotels fault but Marriott. And not sure about parking fee's for blue badge holders, this is normally complementary at 99% of hotels.. still a great place to stay in Swansea though as I say . Marriott needs to get bonvoy sorted out..

Very pleasent hotel for holidays, but also business. 3 steps to sea shore with very nice hotel view point on sea and bay, garden with nicespots where you can take your beer, bar, reception. Totally recommend.

Stayed couple of nights to visit south wales area.

Great place to stay. Very clean and wonderful staff. Great breakfast spread. Beautiful rooms with nice marina views, Next to beach and lovely coastal walk.

Pros: lovely, welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Cons: no aircon in the room.

Met my brother in law, who was staying at the hotel, for a meal. When ordering we were told a number of items were not available. We ordered starters and main courses, but our main courses arrived but no starters. We said we would have our main courses and then we would order deserts. Unfortunately when we tried to order the deserts some items were unavailable. The food we had was good but the whole episode was not a good advert for the hotel. When we met up with the brother in law the following day he said the room and breakfast were ok, but he had found the traffic noise had gone on past midnight.

Spent a few nights there and it was absolutely beautiful, my only qualm is that there was dust near the air inlets for the aircon in the room. Room service could have probably cleared that up if I’d requested for them.

I checked in with my young family and service was not good from the start. The first night the room was not clean properly, carpet was not hovered with left over food stuff and bits from other previous customers in the drawer where fridge was. On our second check in, again in other room the carpet was not hovered. Cannot open windows although restrictors are in place. Tap in wash sink was very loud. Bath dirty with stains in the toilet the water is not strong to flash and not extra toilet roll left. It was just left over and half used, left by previous customer and there was no spare one. The tissue was not replaced. I have to report the tv as it was not working but later knew that the remote was the wrong one for the room. But even that didn’t help and the tv was still frozen till we left. Room was not cleaned by house keeping when we went to town and were told that we were supposed to tell reception when we checked inn. No resupply of toilet and towels. In the bar no service at all for long time, people had to wait to be served or left frustrated. We had to request someone to get a drink. What a shame for this well known hotel.
