Very slick and smart shop. Food so far has been great. Donner wraps are massive! Can order online too which makes it easier and you can pay by card, which is much more convenient for me. Have returned a number of times now.

Great fish and chips, large enough for us to share so about a fiver each for a takeaway. Huge fish, white inside and really nice batter. Talkative and welcoming staff, impressed as always.

Normally never have a problem but the food received tonight was not the usual standard £11.20 for fish and chips, think it was a pensioner special sent out, very small portion for the price, also asked for batter salt and vinegar on and nothing, very disappointed.

OMG don't often have a takeaway but got fish and chips, curry sauce (yes, before anyone comments) Beautiful, massive fish. Not greasy at all. Very nice chips and tasty curry sauce. Absolutely lovely and hot, would defo recommend 😋😋👍👍

I made the mistake of ordering the pensioners special, it a quid cheaper than a normal fish lot. I was hoping for a bit of a bargain. I got a scrag end and chips with gravy, the portion was very small. It takes a special skill to remove any semblance of taste out of a fish supper but Deep Blue managed this with aplomb.

Great service. Absolutely DISGUSTING food. My partner said his cod had no flavour at all Perhaps its frozen...? Being a fish shop I assumed the scampi would be real prawns. It was that skanky mush. The salad had no flavour at all. Just shredded cabbage. Not pickled as you get in some places. Honestly, the worst fish and chips we've EVER had. I'm annoyed I drove so far! They were the only place I could find open on a Sunday evening, and it was too hot to cook at home! If I could turn back time. I'd have had a bowl of cereal! GRIM GRIM GRIM!!!!!

It was discusting we have end it up with food poison over it we got fish and chips the chips was off yesterday dry horrible and the fish was not cooked properly am very shocked as I loved that fish shop naw its put us right off it staff is so lovely but cooking wise not dun properly ever since he's changed the fish shop its whent dawn hill so eney body gets chips ask for fresh chips as u get the day be for check ur fish as might be cookt fout side but hafe cookt in side plz am keeping every one safe

First delivery from deep blue hetton.. Never again. Driver left half our order off. Called them was told he would deliver it. Never turned up. Called back was basically called a liar.

Went last night for a change to my local chip shop which is also rubbish and i can honestly say this was worst food I've ever ate the chips were like finger nails and cold and chewy the spam fritter was a round lump of grissle not real spam and the gravy and peas were covered in grease and tasted like fish the whole thing went in the bin you should be ashamed selling food this bad never go there guys

Normally a Friday night treat, good selection of food. Only a few minutes away so haven't used the delivery option. Order online, choose a pick up time (which can be five minutes later when they're busy) and tuck in. Fish is a good size and always been nicely cooked, masses of chips in a portion - two regular size is enough for four people!

Fish and chips are expensive cant get small sauce got get large better of going to Wetherspoons

I paid 9.35 for very small kebab had no sauce or pita bread when it arrived never again will I be ordering anything again. After I complained got no response from the manager or any senior member of staff very disappointed

Expected good things from here as looked a nice place, probably the worst fish and chips around, also told me 20 mins to collect and took over 50 mins for order.

Ordered a delivery for 5-15...it turned up the first time at 3-15...anyway my burnt offerings were delivered bat just after 5...went on to complain..the staff talked down to me like rubbish...eventually a replacement will be sent out. Return the food so we can check??..now after 6 and just turned up...and...its cold. We always went to collect out food there decided on delivery for ease....we used them for years....I doubt we will again.

Just finished my usual Saturday fix of fish and chips and as usual, absolutely delicious. I usually collect them from the shop at lunchtime and the service I receive from the staff is fantastic. Very friendly. I've had them delivered as well and this service has also been great. Best fish and chip shop I've ever been to.

Food is lovely however staff nope I've ordered a few times and every time they have messed it up when you chase your order your spoken to like s*** I've tried to let the great food out weight the staff but no more I wont be going back or recommend them

New to the area so tried the Deep Blue for the first time. And I'm glad we did. Best kebab I think I've ever had. Doner naan. Hot, very tasty, good quality doner meat, chips properly fried and lots of it. If a kebab could be described as top notch cooking this is absolutely that. The green pepper and fried onions just made this a real treat. Definitely recommend a visit. Can't wait to try the Fish and Chips. Thanks for a really scrummy takeaway.

Very friendly staff. The owner, Amar, was so welcoming and the food was excellent with extra large portion sizes which I'm not used to seeing being from London.

I often get my fish n chips from Deep Blue and very satisfied with the quality. The young lady who usually serves me at lunchtimes is very friendly and always adopts Covid safety measures. 100% for quality and service. Xx

Called there last night for the first time. Very busy when I called (7.15 pm Friday night). However, the staff very quickly and efficiently processed everyone's orders. I got fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was very fresh tasting, with a thin crispy batter. The chips were good; lovely golden colour, and tasted freshly cooked. Very nice! I'll be back!

Staff ignorant and cocky, I was "10 mins late".....granted...... 10 mins with traffic..... 🚗.......then after dealing with ignorant,cocky staff who remember are only providing a service in a fast food environment....try to make a customer (me) look like I am stupid.... Ha ha I will not be eating "this food" again, It might have been ok if at the end of it, the food was nowt to shout about..... Undercooked...... My oven or fryer be on next week... Cook my own I think !!!!!! Enjoy anyway🚲
