not enough staff and soneone on till so slow our food had cone before i was served then stone cold she aas trying to do coffees and service on till and so slow

Quickly popped in for a breakfast sandwich and drink. They've made some changes to sitting to fit more in, i think i preferred the booths. The food was good but i always seem to have issues with cappuccino, its mostly froth and very little coffee. Will try once more, maybe a 1 off.Service was good on this occasion but at busy times it can be a little slow.

A roomy and light restaurant that is relatively quiet and right next door to loos, so good location. Tables are clean and regularly cleared and staff efficient and welcoming. But food is poor value for money, hot food barely warm, cakes and pastries exposed to all and no tongs when I was there.

Quick stop for a coffee on a Sunday afternoon.Poor coffee. I've had better coffees here before.My daughter spilt her squash all over the floor under the table so we moved tables and I reported it to a member of staff that couldn't be arsed to do anything about it. It took a 2nd customer to report it for it to be attended to.Finally, went back up to the counter to get a little extra milk where the restaurant manager was serving another customer. She was clearly busy but totally blanked me until she was ready to deal with me. In my opinion this was bad customer service... A bit of eye contact and a brief "be with you in a moment" would have gone a long way but I was made to feel that I was invisible.Not what I'd expect from Debenhams!

We nearly always go into the restaurant for a cake & a culpa when out shopping, the staff are always friendly & the food is always of a good standard.

Just had a cold over cooked bacon sandwich, paid almost £5 with drink and just awful, bacon left to dry out and go cold, doubt they check the quality as and when they should do here. Most of it left. Would not eat here again.

Visited today whilst Christmas shopping & decided to treat myself to a Christmas lunch, was really disappointed, the turkey was lovely but the food was Luke warm, the potatoes dry & also the parsnips were hard & dry, veg ok, one piece broccoli, few carrots & did not like the red cabbage, feel peas would be more appropriate, stuffing balls were rock hard and inedible, I went in at 12 when they started lunch so would have thought it would have been fresh, been in the past & it’s been lovely, really disappointed this time

Turned up at 12.20, asked for three childrens carvers for the poor waitress to apologise for the lack of carvery available. Didn't even get round to asking for the adult meals.I mention the time because the carvery didn't start until 11.45.She said they'd been busy, but the cafe was largely empty.Couldn't have had very big joints to start with!

This place has the feel of a cafeteria and because everyone has to select the food and queue towards the drinks dispensary, then pay, the wait can be long. The experience may be o.k. when the café is quiet but avoid otherwise.

I was shopping in Debenhams and wanted something quick to eat, so went into their restaurant. I had a jacket potato with baked beans and really enjoyed it, plus the filter coffee ok. Very pleasant, helpful staff.

Visited the restaurant for lunch today, only plus is the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very poor, dry quiche with dry vegetables and served in a very unappetising way. A jacket potato with cheese was almost cold and piled on a plate in the manner of a lay-by stall.

Whilst shopping in Debenhams I found myself famished so popped in for a sandwich and coffee.i chose the ham hock and mustard on brown grane4y bread,I have to say it was very tastey.along with a good strong cappuccino, it hit the spot.

Looking for a reasonably priced lunch in Stratford at the hight of the tourist season can be difficult.However ,Debenhams cafe ,in the town centre ,is very good value for money.The cafe provides tea, coffee, fruit juice and soda.They also provide very tasty baked potatoes.We particularly liked the beef chilli potatoes.They are freshly-made to order.Service is fast and pleasant.Prices are very reasonable.Drop in next time you are in Stratford!

Delicious coffee shop in Debenhams Store, Redditch! But, it is too expensive. Overall, a great coffee shop, but it is just far too expensive!!!

While shopping in Redditch my family member and I decided to have lunch. As we were closest to Debenhams we thought we would give the cafe a try. Wished we hadn't bothered. I ordered the turkey and stuffing pie that came with vegetables and roast potatoes and my family member ordered a portion of chips as their was nothing else they liked the look of. When my pie came my heart sank. The pie was burnt in the edge, the sprouts were obviously the vile frozen variety and so were the roasted potatoes. I opened the pie up and found tiny pieces of meat in a greasy clear liquid with a small lump of pork stuffing. I removed the stuffing and found it looked pink and undercooked. I tasted one sprout and it was hard and cold but had a slimy texture to it, the roast were so dry I had to have a sip of my lemonade just to be able to swallow the lump of potato. I complained and got my money back, my family member ate their small bowl of chips. We also waited nearly 30 minutes to be served our awful food. Wouldn't go back as food was over priced and horrible. Avoid.

I went for a breakfast it was really nice tasting the 10 item breakfast. Not badly priced either. The only let down was the hot chocolate you can barely taste it, its more water then anything. I would deffo go again :)

Standard coffee shop prices with pleasant seats by the window. Sometimes do Groupon offers which give better value for money. Good size standard coffees and tea, but cakes rather expensive.

I'd actually walked my feet off and Debenhams Cafe loomed up in front of me. I had an excellent pot of tea and sampled a naughty but nice cake. The staff were very efficient and helpful.

Love going in here after a hard morning shopping , lovey food and coffee just when I need it ,no fuss ,no crowds just a please tell environment to relax and enjoy half hour lunch,staff are friendly and efficient and lots of choice hot or cold food ,children's menu good and healthy

My wife and I visited with a friend. We had coffee tea and coke and 3 cakes £18.45. It was all very nice, the only let down was the dirty tables when we arrived we had to move dirty cups from the table we sat on, there were 2 ladies on but only looked like the older of the 2 ladies was working.

So I'd walked my feet off and fancied a cuppa and was happy to spot this Cafe in Debenhan's store on the 1st floor, located in the middle of the 'Ladieswear'.

If your shopping in Redditch then the Debenhams cafe is quick and convenient. Serves drinks, cakes, meals and breakfast. The last two times I have eaten their the breakfasts have not been great.

Here for Mothers Day we spotted this cafe. I had the beef chilli which was lovely and hot, served with gluten free rice. My wife a freshly made chicken kebab wrap. With two pots of tea not at all bad for £13.48

Visited 2nd time in a year with my son on Thursday 17/02/2016 lots of food on offer and good choices.

Stopped here for a quick lunch.we had jacket potatoes with cheese and coleslaw and tuna ,which i have to say was excellent.the toppings were plentifull and had a side salad.a very good lunch

After some serious sale shopping I visited Debenham's restaurant. ( I had worked at the restaurant a few years ago and so I know most of the staff). [I was not a good waitress {but that's another story}].
