De La Terre in Uttlesford

What a great little place this is - a real asset to the high street with an interesting menu and wine list. We were there on a very busy Friday evening and staff were working hard to serve everyone with drinks and food orders. We had a bit of a wait for our food but, in the meantime, we enjoyed a bottle of wine and we got chatting to a couple of ladies on the next table - it's that type of place, friendly and informal. Our sharing platter was fabulous, I love this idea of a bit of everything on a plate! All in all, a great evening and experience. Our only disappointment is that we don't live nearer to De la Terre - we'd be frequent diners if we did!

What an amazing little spot. It is cosy yet there was a buzzy atmosphere. The staff were incredible. Outstanding knowledge and recommendations. Visit this place you will not be disappointed!!

We had a really enjoyable evening here with good service, wine and food. We visited on a Thursday evening when they had live Jazz and wow we were not disappointed. The owner was very knowledgeable about the wines and we enjoyed a couple of bottles of the Coatian wine and some great food to accompany the wine. A great ambience and can't wait to return

Everything about last nights wine tasting was superb. Atmosphere drink food everything was exceptional and would highly recommend anyone to go there - great times indeed
