This is our very favourite deli. The mezzes, wraps, lentil soup and coffee are all excellent but today I had shakshouka for the first time and it was completely sublime. Elias is enormously welcoming and a meal at David's Deli is always a very happy occasion.

David's deli is my favourite spot to visit several times a week. An amazing staff are waiting to serve you with passion. The shisha there is the best in London and to be honest is the best in London for sure. The owners are really friendly and treat you like home. Omar is the waiter there and shisha maker and he keeps helping until the customer is satisfied. Most recommended for shisha and Mediterranean food lovers.

David’s deli is a staple of the community here in West Hampstead. Elias the owner of this establishment was very welcoming and went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible. The food was brilliant and especially after a long working week this place felt like a sanctuary for me to have a peaceful meal and unwind. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anybody to come and spend some time here.

Its my new favourite location place😊i went in there with my friends the for a mezza meal and shisha after the owner is very nice guy he has been there for almost 20years ! The food was amazing and fresh you can feel its like home, the atmosphere was great and you can easily make new friends its wunderfull 👌 I see you soon guys

Food is wonderful home cooking, both fresh and delicious. Menu has expanded over the years. We had the mousaka and strips of lamb in marinade sauce. Staff are really warm and friendly, Sam and Elias remember us each time we come from overseas. Highly recommend going out of your way to come to West Hampstead

Very tasty food, good quality , good service, great owners, very good atmosphere and one of the best shisha.

Ordered off UberEats. The absolute state of this shawarma, overcooked, chewy, cheap quality lamb. Too much parsley to cover up the basic salad and lack of sauce. Meat looks like dog food.

If you are wanting a delicious mezze meal with attentive service look no further! Amazing food + vibes with excellent menu choice. So much for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. This was great value for money and did not disappoint. The only reason why it is 4/5 not 5/5 is because what I ordered was £9.50 on the menu but I was charged £10? I still paid as this may have been a discretionary service charge but I wasn’t aware. Will 100% be coming again for the shawarma!

Excelente cocina casera. Gran elección. De Houmous, Taboul, Couscous, platos calientes cocinados frescos todos los días. Jugos frescos. Incluso atienden.Buena música. Shisha si te gusta ese tipo de cosas y los grandes partidos de fútbol en pantallas gigantes.Los tres hermanos que lo dirigen son muy buenos con todos, desde madres locales, niños, profesionales y todos los demás.

David's Deli is consistent, friendly and most of all the baklava is by far the best in London. The sheesha is pretty epic too, it's one of a kind that single use disposable pipes. A fabulous way to wind down after a long summer's day!

As a regular, I can strongly recommend this restaurant. Very affordable fresh food with a great choice and a warm welcome. Food quickly ready and suitable for take away as well, the perfect place for students or workers with short breaks.

David's deli is a West Hampstead institution. Nice people run it and they are always doing a roaring trade whether it's 9am or 1130pm! The baklava is exquisite!

Easy to park and nice laid back atmosphere. They know how to serve coffee properly! Decent Wi-Fi and good service.

I was passing by west hampstead on Wednesday and wanted to get a quick lunch so i ordered a mix platter which came out fairly quickly! The taste was lovely and fresh!!

Fui en el lunes por la noche. Pedimos su entrante y plato principal y ambos salieron juntos. El Schnitzel en la ensalada estaban duras como clavos - como si hizo una semana antes y calentar en un microondas. Luego intentaron llevar mi silla como fui por un cigarrillo" para sus amigos". Cuando me fui me trataron muy groseramente. No se viene aquí en una prisa. La comida asquerosa y horrible servicio.

Después de ordenar algunas bebidas calientes y 1 shisha, estábamos deseando encontrarse con algunos amigos. Nuestro pedido llegó y 2 minutos más tarde, el camarero se acercó a nosotros y nos pidió que pedimos otra shisha. Me aconsejaron que tenía un estado de salud que significaba que no podría haber shisha y él nos echó, diciendo que es 1 por 2 personas. pipa Horrible servicio al cliente, por favor ten cuidado!

Este es el lugar donde la gente va a tener una pipa en la zona, ofrecen un montón de diferentes gustos shisha no sabía que había tantas - y son verdaderamente profesional en este negocio. También venden comida medio oriental y tenía allí uno de los mejores hummus que he tenido.

I particularly like the chicken livers. Food always fresh, staff friendly and efficient. I dont like their coffee but thats a minor thing.

Picked it at random for a lunch between engagements and was pleasantly pleased at how great the food was. My wife had the hot mezze and I had the salt beef special. Both were plentiful and delicious. If you're bored of hipster eateries then this is the place for you.

I went there 2 days ago with a couple of friends because i was staying in West Hampstead area. The staff were really friendly welcoming and serving us.We ordered chicken soup, falafel, shawarma and lasagna and they were just amazing!! The best thing about the place is that you have lots of options to choose from the menu with great value for your money. I highly recommend this place to everyone :D i will definitely go back the next time i am in London!

There are two sides to David's Deli: the local daytime cafe and eating spot, and the night time shisha spot (open till 2am) every night. Nighttime is full of casual, young, stylist, dressed-up, multiracial regulars that are welcomed more friendly than by other shisha spots. If you visit at night, you have to have shisha! It's simply their business at night and as spots can get rare, they require night time visitors to order a shisha, so be prepared to be turned down if you only want to eat.That being said, the shisha is one of the best in the area, very smooth, with frequent service to replace the charcoal. Recommended if you know your shisha!

This establishment is a local deli during the daytime run by Lebanese (until around 4pm) and then it smoothly transitions to a shisha café run by Iranians.Broadly speaking the food drinks and service there is okay. However during the evenings the service quality drops.Put simply, the daytime business is run by very friendly welcoming staff, in contrast with the evening business which forces you to order shishas unnecessarily, even when members of your party do not smoke. They also do not accept card payments as they wish to evade tax payment.It's a nice place to visit in the daytime when it's sunny. That's all.

The main thing you notice is that the staff and many of the customers all know each other. David's Deli, the owner says, has been there since 2004 and it is an important part of the local community. They get involved in everything and the place is obviously a meeting point for locals. The two reasons for this are the friendliness of the staff, who are most polite, always happy and very accommodating and what you go for in the first place, the food.The food is fresh - always. Orange juice squeezed to order, lemonade and juices made from the fruits themselves to order and the food cooked fresh every day.This is home cooked food - whatever you choose from the menu will be fresh and delicious. I regularly travel 2 miles out of my way, past many other places to come to David's Deli. I take my friends and family and I recommend it to you.

Saw the place a few times when passing by and was intrigued. Finally had the time to give it a try and was very impressed with the service, quality of the shisha and drinks and the general good feel of the place. Highly recommended

I went with a friend of mine to this place few weeks ago. We looked at the food in the window and he didn’t look too bad. I limited my choices between a schnitzel and salt beef. Unfortunately I opted for the second one while my friend went for latka . I had the special salt beef which came with latka and some kind of cornichons and coleslaw. The latka and the rye bread were just acceptable but I have no idea what kind of meat I ate . That was definitely not salt beef or resembled any edible meat at all. It looked like some slices of cheap cooked ham type, translucent and gummy that had no taste whatsoever. That has to be one of the most revolting “salt beef “ I have ever eaten in my entire life and it had nothing to do with the real thing. I definitely would not rush back. The funny thing is that I have read on some website that rates restaurants in % and this one had a score of 94% comparing with the rest of the restaurants in West Hampstead that scored well below this one with an average of 80/85 %. That is shocking! If this is salt beef that you usually serve I am very surprised that you get away with it. THIS IS NOT SALT BEEF!!!!!!!

lovely Middle-East cuisine, in a nice relaxed atmosphere, run by the nicest, nicest guys you are ever likely to meet. always made to feel welcome, great place for weekend brunch or meeting for coffee. been many times and will keep coming back.
