I recently visited Darmon Deli with my partner and some friends, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We started with the arancini, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully flavorful inside. For mains, we enjoyed the croque monsieur, quiche, and chèvre au miel, each served with a fresh, vibrant side salad. We ended our meal with some mouthwatering desserts. The service was outstanding; it felt warm and personal, which I think has a lot to do with the owner, who seemed to be running this little restaurant and made sure we felt welcome. His friendly presence added so much to the overall experience. The ambiance is lovely: cute and cozy, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing meal. The menu has a great variety of original choices, each dish clearly prepared with care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming spot with delicious food and exceptional service in Amersham!

We booked this restaurant because it is close and convenient for all the family to reach but after this visit, I think we need to go again because of the 5-star ✳️ service and the exquisite food! We are food lovers in our family, we appreciate quality and seek the best, this restaurant offers that in abundance plus they take care of us and all dishes are delivered on time to a high standard and top quality ingredients. My only point is that they didn't have a vegan pudding choice available on the night but at least I was left full so maybe next time 🙏🏾

Oh my days, what an amazing evening at Darmon Deli, fantastic French food, truly friendly service and great atmosphere in a bijou bistro. Most of the menu is du jour, so the food is fresh, seasonal and tasty. French with Italian influence it was superb and cooked and served with passion. Quickly fallen in love at first sight with place, we will be back! Worth a journey.

Such a good deli. I had the most delicious chicken and lamb shawarma with all the Middle Eastern trimmings. The owners are lovely and welcoming. I came here before covid and revisited today years later and it is still a great place to eat. Go here!

First time visiting. Stopped for lunch and the welcome was very friendly and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I had katsu chicken and husband had beef sandwich and side of some of the best chips. Will definitely visit again and try it for an evening next time

My mum had been saying for a while I had to try this place. When I finally got around to visiting with her I was not disappointed. Husband and wife team with mr offering the warmest possible reception out front and mrs working magic from the kitchen. I’ve been back since and every dish is absolutely perfect. Everything made from scratch, with an international theme, and particularly French and Asian cuisines. Unbelievable value for the standard of food this place is putting out. I can’t praise it enough this place is absolutely fabulous.

Celebrated my birthday at Darmon Deli - our family all LOVED this place. Food was delicious service was just great. All dishes served together and we all enjoyed tasting each others. Hubby arrange for them to make my birthday “cake” Will definitely become a regular haunt!

First visit to this restaurant and loved it! Family run and had a real homemade and intimate feel to it. Food was amazing and flavourful with lots of variety to the menu and great vegetarian options too! The desserts selection also very impressive, all homemade and fresh, we tried to lemon meringue pie as it’s my favourite, couldn’t fault it. Super friendly, will definitely be returning!

I’d heard good things however never been myself - was not disappointed. Fully booked on a Saturday however we still felt well looked after in a very friendly professional way. Menu is small with a few well chosen specials, wine list is also short but again excellent. It’s not a cheap dinner if you indulge in three courses and wine, although excellent value for the quality and service - thoroughly recommended

IF I could give Darmon deli 6 stars I would. A previous poster said she'd keep it quiet, well no, because we'd love this beautiful little bistro/restaurant to stay in business after the building development and keep open the one truly great restaurant in Amersham. Despite being very busy on the Saturday evening of our visit, we were seated quickly. The entrecôte steak was just as served in France itself- tender and delicious with indulgent sauce, the frites were perfect and the salad..yum, divine! My son's eyes when he saw the giant profiterole served..!! He asked to return for his own birthday dinner and that shows how impressed he was. Can't wait to return and try other menus items..sorry that I couldn't take raclette as only one adult at the table, but I'll be back....

A bit of France in Amersham. Everything was as it used to be, down to the potted palm. Very good food and excellent wine. If I was richer I would go more often.

A well deserved 5* review! Quite simply my favourite find of a French Fusion Restaurant in 20 years of living in Amersham and 50 years of travelling and fine dining across France. (Yes - I travelled across France as a baby!) My only annoyance is that I’ve taken so long to actually visit having spotted you since opening. My mistake! What a triumph Darmon Deli! I cannot wait to visit again.

Fabulous food and lovely service

Their people knows everything about the food. Takes their time to explain you what they are making and what makes them good and how they may be different from other things you might try elsewhere. Also have good knowledge on alcohol. Service is marvelous not to mention.

Really very friendly and honest owner who worked with us to find food suitable for vegans. Very fresh and tasty dishes. Ratatouille, spring rolls - to name a couple - were outstanding.small selection of desserts but very fresh/tasty

I've been a few times, most recently last night, and have never had a bad meal. In particular yesterday (despite us being over an hour late for our booking - sorry about that!) I once again had a great meal and probably one of the best steaks I've had in years. I don't know why I don't go more often!!

My family and I stopped at DARMON deli for lunch yesterday and I was honestly blown away by the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. The fish sandwich, schnitzel burger and croque monsieur were all excellent and the chips are to die for. If you have space, make sure to finish with one of their freshly baked desserts - the pear, chocolate and almond tarte was a revelation. The owner was also incredibly accommodating out of one year old daughter, which made our lunch even more relaxed.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Visited with our friends and their young son. We had the special Moroccan Fish Stew, Steak with sauce bordelaise, Chicken Katsu and Chicken Noodles. All of them were well prepared, tasty and generous portions. For dessert we couldn’t resist the Lemon Meringue Pie and Tarte Tatin to finish the meal off. A must visit!

Everything is great and you always feel welcome whenever you come in. The waiting staff and kitchen staff are great and make you feel like at home no matter what.

Great food and out of the ordinary on the Amersham restaurant scene ! But charged £2 for extra spoon to share a dessert - with no prior notice? 😕 Why? Bit of a disappointment really when 12.5% service charge is applied to that spoon and added onto the bill.

Love this place, great atmosphere which is helped by the decor. Food is very good, I had a fish burger with home made tartar sauce and salad, which comes with couscous and lots of different leaves, olives, hazelnuts and sultanas and my grandson had a salt beef sandwich with a side salad. The beef was about an inch thick and very tender, all yummy. We were both too full to manage dessert lol.

Charming ambience and glorious food. One of the best restaurants in Amersham. Try and peanut noodles. If I'd been at home, I would have liked the sauce off my bowl.

Had another wonderful evening in this little gem of a restaurant. A special relaxed atmosphere with a wonderful host and the rum raisin chocolate cake was to die for. Especially with a glaasss of calvados which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Will be back!

Darmon Deli is a lovely family restaurant that has the most amazing french patisserie and food. The raclette when is part of their season menu is better than eating at the alps. I also love their fruit tarts with little Macarrons, everything they cook is fantastic. If you don't knnow the place is very easy to miss, it is besides the brewery shop in the high street. I have been a loyal customers for many years and the quality has never changed, it is very hard to point what is my favourite meal.

HIDDEN GEM! The owner is simply delightful and is very accommodating, not to mention the standard of food. We have been here a number of times and have been simply brown away. The chicken burger is a must have! Not only does he offer a take away service, he is also exceptional with his table service. A very romantic and authentic restaurant.

This spot is such a treat. Eldad provides excellent service and the food is fresh, inventive and alwasy exceptional. We love visiting whenever in Amersham.

Original message in September 2022: I blame myself so much for not coming here earlier this year. This place is a hidden GEM of Amersham. The service is excellent, quality and taste is there and for a very fair price. It’s a MUST to come eat here. Eldad that will welcome you here is so passionate about sharing what he loves : yummy food and his guests. You’ll feel it, you’ll try it, you’ll love it ! I recommend this place 19/06/2023 - Updated message after coming MANY times since then I have been to Darmon Deli nearly 20 times over the last 9-10 months. I have always left the restaurant very satisfied. You will find EXCELLENCE every time you come there. The food is perfect, everything is well balanced and very tasty. Every mouthful is a sensory journey for the taste buds. The service is always so fantastic and attentive. I invite guests there regularly who are always amazed by the level of quality that Eldad and his wife (the great cook) provide. You will love this place once you try it.

Asked for a drink, got told no, busy day tomorrow. They don’t serve after 10pm. So ok for an early dinner but you get given the bill without asking for it!

Been to Darmon for coffee and cake in the past but never tried their dinner. Heard all the good things about it so decided to give it a try. We went in last night and felt like being in France somewhere with sunshine and the decor of the restaurant. 3 of us had Coq au Vin and house red. Wow... Chicken was tender and flavoursome and the portion was generous. Wine was organci and beautiful. I forgot to take the picture of my main as I demonlished it so quickily! Luckily, I was too full to tuck in my dessert straight away so I managed to take a picture of my pavlova with berries and ice cream and my friend‘s New York cheesecakes with raspberry sauce. We were all pleasantly surprised and impressed how good our dinner were. Come and give it a try if you are in the area. I am sure you will enjoy it like we did.

We loved everything about our lunch at Darmon deli. The burger was phenomenal, the Croque (dish of the day) delicious. Would give 6/5 if possible. Forgot to take a photo in the beginning, so photo is of halftime Croque.

We ate here last night and the food was sublime. Delicious parsnip starter with cherry sauce. Duck and steaks looked great and lots of veggie options. Patisserie puddings amazing.

This unassuming venue is a hidden gem! The galette and tartiflette are sensational and the homemade tarts must not be missed. Beware, the helpings are substantial so go there hungry!

Decided to take a visit here after looking at all the reviews as a change of scenery for cake out with my Nan and Mum. We ended up having the amazing quiche and salad, superb chips for my little boy and then cake afterwards 😂. Wonderful, home made cuisine and service. C’est Magnifique!
