A nice cosy cellar bar under The Bridge House. Cocktails for the wife and a fine selection of whisky for myself. All finished off with chilled music and awesome bar staff. Thank you all.

Great place. The cocktails are creative and made with real passion, it’s very difficult which ones to try but the staff are knowledgable, helpful and friendly. If we’re ever in Bridport again we would 100% return!

Best cocktail bar around! Brilliant atmosphere and staff, they really make you feel so welcome, we could've stayed here for hours The staff are more than happy to make any classic cocktails that aren't on the menu. They make an amazing long island ice tea! We will definitely be back again

What a fantastic hidden gem, very passionate team who have intensive knowledge of what they are treating you to, cosy environment with such a vast menu of cocktails, and their expertise in rums is second to none, they have close to 300 bottles of rum alone.. Recommendation from me is their Pina colada, also bonus points for Aldens moustache. True wizards behind the bar. Would highly recommend the clover club too.

The Dark Bear is a very cosy and comfortable cocktail bar with great atmosphere. The cocktails are terrific and they have an amazing range of rums! We spent a very relaxing hour there at the end of the evening. The music is very appropriate too.

Came in here for a few cocktails. Great concept, brilliant addition to Bridport. Alden was super, very passionate and knowledgeable. Will be back.

These are the best cocktails you will get anywhere. At £25 per ticket i had 5 lovely drinks, fab flavours beautifully presented. Lloyd and his partner put so much thought and effort into each drink, these are nights you really shouldn’t miss.

They don't do food but if they did I'm sure it would be amazing. A great little cocktail bar with a lovely atmosphere.

DarkBear is the best drinking establishment in Bridport, and further afield. The atmosphere is cosy, friendly and brilliant for couples or groups and the drinks are of such high quality

Cosy vibe, absolutely supreme selection of premium rums, lovely staff and just a true gem of Bridport. This linked with Dorshi are two of some of my favourite places to go in the country.

I went to the Potting Shed which is in part of The Bridge Hotel grounds. Lovely venue, reasonably priced, very relaxing atmosphere, great range of drinks and also but most importantly, friendly staff.

Actually, this is the patio garden & bar at The Bridge House Hotel. And an excellent spot it is too!! Very sunny and relaxed with an almost Mediterranean feel. Good range of beers and wines, serving different styles of food at weekends. Mos def a top spot. Strongly recommend.

5 star , I moved here from London 2 years ago and this place not only serves the best cocktails I have had , it has amazing staff and the best venue , well done I would chose u over the shard !!!!! X

I couldn't recommend Dark Bear highly enough! We had my sisters Hen do in Laverstock Farm (just outside of Bridport) at the end of March and Lloyd came to do a cocktail session in the evening. As a start, Lloyd was so easy to organise everything with and brought everything along with him so it was totally stress free for us. We had the Hedgerow Mojitos and the Espresso Martinis as well as a couple of shooters and they were all absolutely delicious. Lloyd was also so lovely and fun, showing us how to make them and getting us involved, he also was incredibly knowledgeable and gave some great tips on how to make our own at home. Thanks very much Lloyd, what a special find :)

I was taken here by a friend and I'm so grateful I was. We ordered our drinks while relaxing in a couple of armchairs in this wonderful bar. I had a dark n stormy, my friend had a blagger. I also had a cherry pie Mai Tai, delicious!! This is not your average, run of the mill cocktail menu. This place has a lovely relaxed, friendly and interesting atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

I have been meaning to write this for some time, by far and away the best bar in Bridport, South West & the world in general... Cocktails are the real-deal and the service is sublime! Lloyd & David know their stuff, we have used them for a few customer events and will be doing one for our Christmas party. They know their cocktails and can come up with something specific for your evening or party.

Amazing decor with friendly relaxing atmosphere

Went to the gin tasting and seafood evening at Staddlestones. What a wonderful evening, lots of different tasters of gin with a knowledgeable host and delicious food to go with it. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great evening, Dark Bear!
