Dark Arts Kitchen by Flamin'Joe's in Caerphilly

Ordered a porker burger and pulled pork loaded fries with no onions, come completely wrong full of onions on fries and no pulled pork on burger and it was cold, my partner phoned them up as I have autism and all they said on the phone was that she did tell them but they’re closed now and there nothing they can do other than offer discount on next order which is pointless as this is not the first time my food has been wrong so I won’t be ordering again. Absolute waste of money ( I have spoke with them and will be receiving a full refund on Monday)

Orderd food at 19.50 said it would be delivered between 20.40/20.50 21.30 still not arrived so phoned the shop was told the system was playing up should be with me by 21.40 if not phone back so thought no problem might be busy so 21.45 come still not received it so called back like was asked to. To be rejected twice on the phone call then tried again to be answered saying that the food is another 10 minutes their end then will be the delivery driver food arrived at 22.35 2hours and 45 mins not going to slate the food the food was amazing as usual just not happy with the customer service as i ordered food for my sons and by the time it come they had to go was tamping to be honest

was sceptical ordering from somewhere new, but I'm glad I did. The food was fantastic will 100% order from there again delivery was quick and easy

Absolutely shocking, do not place an order. Over TWO hour wait for food, ‘estimated time updates’ not true whatsoever. Do not order unless you do not want to be hungry by the time you receive your food.

Had an order tonight for delivery and everything was delicious with great quality meat! The fries were amazing! Customer service is excellent too, something was missing from the order and within 15 minutes of letting them know the missing item was delivered with apologies and a can of Pepsi, which was much appreciated! Can’t wait to order again and thank you ☺️

Don’t waste your money on this delivery service. Ordered at 7:10pm and finally turned up at 8:55pm. Stone cold and had to microwave it. Would have preferred some honesty when chasing it up for 40mins and being told it’s on its way every time. I would have collected if honest as I’m only a mile away!

Absolutely amazing Firstly had a issue with food hub cancelling my order, was quite alot of money and due to the refund not being instant I had no more disposal income to order again, this is where the owners stepped in and saved my night (partners 30th birthday too). They still fulfilled the order and showed alot of trust my end. Secondly, the food was out of this world, juicy burgers, crispy tots, the toppings were amazing and the cheese sauce is the bomb. Thirdly, service and delivery were bang on, asked for 7.30 delivery, had it 5 minutes earlier, food pipping hot and ready to eat. Will deffo be ordering again. Thank you.

The chicken burger was easy the best I’ve had in a long time if not the best!! The chicken wings are like eating a chicken leg with the amount of meat on them !! Keep smashing it.

Seriously the best burgers in 30 miles - you guys can easily compete with Hills in Brecon- you just need the restaurant now - amazing 👏

One of the best fast food restaurants about. Blows anything like McDonald's or KFC out the water. It's a little bit more than most, but its worth the extra cost. And all the staff are lovely!

Have to say I've been dying to try flamin Joe's for so long and tonight was so disappointing .The service was great and staff was helpful when calling but for such a good reputation and from what I've seen on social media myself the food was really disappointed. The taco burger came in a large box and when opened was all over the place smashed apart. I was told this still tasted good at least but the two portions of chips were cold and quite hard. The bacon cheeseburger felt so overdone being cheque and dry, the bacon was burnt to a point you couldn't taste it and it was cold. It felt like it had been sat there for a while and maybe been out for delivery for a long time maybe. Gutted. Hoping this is a one off.... Not going to be out off from ordering again because I've seen how good the food is youve done previously.

Cooked fresh, staff are amazing, love the fact you guys are stocking milk as well. And the rocky roads. Wow!! Always been a fan and a friend. And no one will exceed the quality food you provide :)

Wow first order tonight and can't recommend enough, food is AMAZING, staff are lovely and friendly too.

We went in Summer 2022. They may have improved by now and I really wanted to love this place... Sadly not to be. Firstly the golden rule with pork ribs is to remove the membrane at the back before smoking. The ribs still had the membrane intact which isn't pleasant when trying to eat. My beef short rib was pretty much inedible... i'm all for gnawing meat off a bone but it appeared that this meat hadn't been cooked properly. It was extremely tough and was basically impossible to eat. It seemed to have been cooked too hot and too fast. Something had gone wrong. Slow BBQ'd short rib is basically brisket on a bone and should be juicy, soft and edible! Finally, the cheesy jalepeno poppers were a breadcrumb case with nothing inside... But I'm sure they've upped their BBQ game since last summer. It's a lovely spot and they all seem lovely up there.

Whilst the food is great. The delivery is very poor. Ordered at 2pm. Expected delivery at 2.45. By 3 tried calling 10 times and constantly goes dead. Food didn’t arrive until 3.30. Double the expected delivery time. Zero apology from the driver just, ‘there’s your food’. Previous service on collection has been amazing, it’s just a shame that such a poor delivery service has now hampered my view of ever ordering again

Ordered for delivery which came half an hour later than stated, it’s a Saturday night so I understand it may be a busy time however what I received was appalling. Paid almost £10 for just a burger that states it comes with thick cut bacon and caramelised onions, I receive no onions and what can only be described as a wafer thin piece of bacon that was half the size of my burger (it was also barley warm by the time it arrived). I also ordered the Mac n cheese bites which were £4 and stated they’d come with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, red onion, jalapeños ect, but that’s not what I got. Instead, I received 5 tiny mozzarella sticks that cost £3.50. There was no mozzarella in them, just dry empty tubes of nothing, I’ve had nicer ones from the supermarket which are a fraction of the price and you receive a lot more than 5. Not happy as that is not what I ordered! Don’t waste your money, not worth it at all

Flaming Joe's doesnt flaming dissapoint! Such great value, So so so tasty! I had the cheesy loaded fries with pulled pork! Came with few extra flavours caramalised onions, chives, bbq sauce. All complemented each other well. My friend had a double bacon cheese burger with chips looked very tidy and he demolished it so guessing it tasted just as good as it looked! Great selection of desserts chocolate brownies and cheesecakes.. also tasted nice and very good value at 3 to 4 quid a piece. Customer service was good and seemed like all the staff were happy. (See u next time im in wales visiting ttowel! Or jon as u know him.)

Lovely food. We did want loaded roasties as it was Sunday but they weren’t available to pre order, so had a burger instead. Food was a bit cold but it is a ten minute drive from where I live so probably would have been an ok temperature if we had eaten it as soon as we picked up. Our burgers were very tasty and the fries were perfectly seasoned. We also ended up having brownies too which were nice and massive slices too! Definitely will be going back.

Fantastic ribs yet again. Beautiful flavours, loads of meat and fantastically tender. I’ve eaten from here many times and I’m never disappointed. I can’t recommend flaming joes enough!

Waited over hour and half just for 2 rancha burgers n fries one burger without cheese or sauce got home to see there was sauce on it . As burgers are prepared behind a screen I didn’t realise till I got home although I’d stressed one was to just be meat n onion rings .Burger pate it’s self was nice but the rest of it either reheated or been stood to long n dipped bck in fryer as it was hard n greasy . cob webs hanging over the gril and I couldn’t see food score displayed . Gutted as hubby really wanted to try this place and was very disappointed for price £9.25 just for the burger I was expecting a nice experience n food 🥹

The food here is next level, have ordered a few times and yesterday they were extremely busy but the staff handled the heat and the standard didn’t slip one bit. Absolutely amazing, my only regret is that I didn’t have them cater my wedding. Keep up the amazing work👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing authentic southern food!! You can’t get any better than Flammin Joes for the area! Situated on beautiful farm land so you can look at the animals and local produce whilst you wait for your food! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Decent priced but you certainly get what you pay for- top quality local meat! The staff and owners are so friendly, what a bonus!

Fabulous meaty burger, full of beefy flavour, and one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, in this country or in the States. Fighting talk, I know, but I’m right!

The chips were still only a bit warm by the time they got to us but they were bloody good either way, the website link on the Google page is incorrect (just thought it'd let you know, it points to .com not .co.uk)

What a joke ! Ordered food at 12 for half past one came back for the food still not to be cooked. Waited 30 mins for the food my girlfriends taco stood on the side for 10 mins while I waited for the pulled grilled cheese to be made gave up after 40 mins took the taco and left without the pulled pork cheese £17 for taco ...... further more stop wiping your sweat off your head with your hand then touching the food.

An absolutely marvellous BBQ for our wedding celebrations. Can't thank Josef and the team enough for making our day extra special. Everyone has commented on how lovely not just the food was but also how Josef took time to go around and speak to our guests. Truly a fantastic spread with huge variety. Highly recommend for functions, Sunday lunch, family get togethers and just a can't be bother to cook occasion!

No exaggeration here, the food was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I ate something so nice. The staff where friendly and welcoming, Joe is also a great character who brings life to the restaurant. Give it a go, you won’t regret it.

Joe is a perfectionist and an absolute bbq meat connoisseur. He is extremely knowledgable and takes great pride in his presentation and delivery. 10/10 every time from me! Top chef!
