I ordered yesterday some dishes ( Kobideh, Joje kabab, Ghorme, Gheyme and lobia polo) and we weren't expecting such a feast. The portion's were big enough ( at lunch time the price on some dishes is half price than dinner and we didn't expect such a generous pack just for 5,50 pound)and with each dishes you get yoghurt+ cucumber and a small piece of bread. The taste of the dishes were very tasty.Highly recommend.

This is a nice Persian restaurant located on North Fichley High Road. I have eaten here on many occasions. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and the owner is very welcoming and friendly. They serve a variety of authentic Persian dishes consisting of delicious stews served with rice and also chicken & lamb grilled dishes. There is a good selection of traditional items on the menu and the portions are good. Well worth the visit if you're in the area.

Lovely food in this restaurant / takeaway. The halloumi wrap along side the falafel wrap was great value for the quality and size of portion. Would recommend.

I was a regular at The Day of the Raj for Over 25 Years and I'm sad to see it gone. It has been replaced with another Restaurant now but that does not serve Indian food.

Going Greek is Going Downhill Takeaway from the Colindale branch – Friday, 2 May 2025 Sadly, this once-excellent place seems to be cutting corners. The photos speak for themselves – this is what £12.00 gets you now. There are no holes in the chicken pieces from skewers, unlike in the past when they were properly grilled. That’s likely because the chicken portions are now too small to be threaded onto skewers at all. Of course, prices have increased across the board due to higher costs of produce and electricity. Customers understand this. But raising prices while reducing quality is unacceptable. It's not just disappointing – it feels like an insult to loyal customers who supported you when the food was genuinely good. If this is a wider cost-cutting directive across all Going Greek branches, it's a very poor business decision. Word will spread, and you'll lose your regulars. And although I wish it weren’t the case in 2025, I must echo what another reviewer said: there's still clear favouritism in how quickly people are served and in portion sizes. It’s disheartening. You may as well rename the chain “Speak Greek”. This is no way to treat customers – and no way to run a business.
