Went for fish and chips before going to the cinema and it was great. Easily the best fish I’ve ever had; the batter was nice and crispy and the fish was flaky and fresh. The chips were also great. The guy on the till was really friendly and the whole place had a really nice atmosphere.

Gave us wrong food and nit enought salt and vinegar when asked for it to be drowned in it got told the vinegar evaporates when it is put onto hot food, but could not even smell it let alone tast it. Then I walked all the way back to the shop and complained and was greeted with a very rude response as if I wad in the wrong. Got batter on said sausage but came back very powdery. Will not be coming back there ever again.

Nice chips, clean and well priced. Good to see them open till 8pm on a Sunday. Fast and friendly service in a good location.

We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon, it was very busy but the staff were helpful and friendly. The fish was fresh and tasty and the batter was light and crispy. The chips were delicious too. My daughter enjoyed her nuggets and said the gravy was delicious.

On holiday in Minehead and wanted decent priced fish and chips for an evening take out meal and we were not disappointed. The 2 men serving handled queues of people efficiently in a polite professional manner. Ordered mini fish and chips and they were delicious. Yes they cook to order but it was worth the 5-10 minute wait. Will definitely be back when visiting again.

I ordered standard fish and chips with one tomato sauce sachet. I am sure the girl gave me a small fish looking at other photos compared to mine which looks more like a sausage in batter than fish! What I had did taste nice though and was hot.

Always get fish & chips from here when in Minehead, they are great, just the right size, so quite a good price. Also their cups of tea are always just right, as they don't use cheap & weak tea bags.

There are no fish and chips like seaside fish and chips and well this was Amazing. Quick service, great quality fish and chips, well priced. Just a shame it would be an 8 hour round trip from home 🏡

Child's meals an absolute rip off , 4 nuggs,10 chips and no toy. Will never go there again and way overpriced.

Amazing fish ! Chips not too bad.

We visited this place with our children on a day out to Minehead. Firstly, we were greeted with very friendly staff. It all looked clean and the service was good. The food however, was terrible. The battered sausages just had some crispy flaked bits around them (not stuck to the sausage at all). The chips didn’t taste like anything. The kids burgers were such low quality. We won’t be returning.

Having read great reviews of this place I tried it when in Minehead for a few days. Excellent scampi and chips, freshly cooked scampi, generous portions and chips not greasy at all, just tasted delicious. Ate outside in the sun looking at Minehead bay, wonderful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Recommend this cafe to anyone.

Always go to Dana’s when I’m down in Minehead. They do the best chip buttie that feeds two people and the best halloumi fries with chilli jam. Highly recommend paying them a visit if you’re down this neck of the woods. Staff are super friendly as well.

The fish and chips from here are absolutely beautiful. On a nice day, it just makes the day special when you are sat on the seafront with a nice sea breeze with your fish and chips.

Visited for lunch. Was greeted promptly and with a smile. Order taken and food arrived within a minute. Packaging was all recyclable, with wooden forks and cardboard boxes. Chips were hot and served with a generous amount of salt and vinegar (perfectly done 🙂). Best chips I've had in a while. Small cod was much bigger than expected. Very good value. Service and food were 10/10. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again next time I am in the town.

Grabbed a cone of chips a few days earlier and they where lovely so decided to pop back for a meal daughter had a kids meal had the cheese burger and said it was better than Mc Ds we both had fish and chips with curry sauce, lovely chips, lovely big flaky cod in crisp batter and a nice curry sauce best fish and chips I have had for a while.

Delicious food cooked to order. Outside seating available. Chili jam is a must. I made enquiries about the maker of said jam, staff where happy to show me the jar for me to source myself. Staff helpful. Visited twice during our week long stay at Butlins Minehead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Highly

I've visited Minehead about half a dozen time. In my experience this place does the best fish and chips. The batter is always crisp and the chips fresh. I haven't tried every single chip shop but I don't intend to try any other after using this one.

WOW, best chips I've had for a long while, highly recommend if your visiting Minehead. I had pasty and chips, I usually don't eat all my chips, however they were amazing.

The service was very good. We had a problem and they fixed it. Management came by and offered us a Juice drink. Great customer service

Googled gluten free fish and chips before going home and Seaview came up. Nearer 5 than 4, portions were good and gluten free tasted great too. If you are in or near Minehead good and get some fish and chips. They young lad that served me too was very polite.

Utterly charming seaside takeaway spot. The folks working there were really sweet and helpful and the food surpassed expectations. Definitely recommend getting some and sitting on the nearby benches by the beach.

Great chips went there over Christmas the place was so busy could not find another chip shop open in minehead on Boxing Day . I am always staying in minehead over the Christmas period every year since 1986 and these are definitely the best chips the town can offer

I was amazed to find they do Gluten Free fish & chips as standard every day of the week, also available, GF Scampi, GF sausage. Freshly cooked to order and delicious. I will return when next passing through Minehead. Staff were polite and pleasant too.

Awful. Server was useless. Asked what was in the veggie burger, to which she replied I can’t explain it! Turns out it was vegetables. Not sure why that’s so hard to explain. So off to a great start. Chips were cold, fish was more batter than actual cod. The little ones box meal was missing the drink and toy, so half of what we paid for we didn’t actual receive. All in all a poor experience. Won’t be recommending and won’t be returning. Fish and chips by the beach is normally an experience we look forward to but this time I wish we hadn’t bothered.

The chips were very hard and tasteless, the fish cakes were extremely peppery! Honestly the worst chips I’ve had for a long time, they tasted absolutely awful. I had to bin the food unfortunately, waste of money.

Purchased dinner for the family. The fish was freshly cooked and very nice. The staff were polite and very friendly enjoyed a laugh with them whilst waiting for the food, which doesn't mean it took ages! Well worth a visit if your holidaying in Minehead.

The batter on the fish is THE best ever tasted, it is great to really find crispy batter. Delicious white choc and raspberry ice cream to follow, what more could we ask for? Our dog hates going past Dana’s without stopping for his Peppermint doggy...
