Damasqino restaurant & cafe in Glasgow City

We went there last night hadn’t booked a table called and asked if we could come down was 8 of us we were told would be a 20 min wait which is totally understandable bcz they were very busy. We ordered what we wanted and when the food arrived it looked soo mouth-wateringly delicious 🤤 and let me tell you the food did not disappoint hands down this was the best meal out we have truly enjoyed in years. The crispy fried chicken was soo gooood! Mix grill, shawarma wraps, cold starter platter and the sea bass was all spot on delicious. The service was also amazing such a good experience! Our new fav restaurant will definitely be back soon. Thank you for such an awesome experience & service. Appreciate you all working on Eid.

A very bad restaurant, the food is terrible, they cheat and don’t deliver the right amount of food. I do not recommend it. The staff is awful, don’t go there.

Got a chicken shawarma plate and it was delicious. I was in a rush and they made it very quickly for me. Very kind friendly staff.

This was a wonderful place with amazing people. It’s my first time having Syrian food, but you can taste the passion they have for the culture. The staff are kind and will even show you proper ways to eat the food if you have never had it before. I highly recommend!!

No hay entendimiento entre el personal, jefe para estar ocupado en. teléfono mi comida llegó 20 minutos después después de preguntar varias veces a mis primos comida llegó Había terminado las minas que había olvidado estar ocupado en. teléfono había 3 mesas en todo el restaurante inc. nuestro . . . no hay interés en el servicio al cliente una vez que se ha sentado lo único que fue rápido es cuando pedimos la factura

Amazing place- they have won awards which doesn't surprise me as the quality and taste is great. Delicious food and first class service at very reasonable prices. Go hungry- their portions are huge. It's best to make a reservation- I was fortunate in securing table for 1 at 6:30pm. The restaurant was full by 7pm. Strawberry milkshake was delicious. (Restaurant does not serve alcohol- but the quality of food and service means you'll be more than happy to go without). I personally had dumplings but I could see that the Mixed Grill for 2 is huge and very popular. Hope to return.

Very good Syrian one, prices are little high comparing to other Syrian restaurants.

My favourite restaurant in Glasgow.. the Syrian cuisine is very special and the chef’s really talented. Exactly customer service and overall atmosphere. I very much recommend.

Went for a meal on Valentine's day and as expected it was extremely busy. Staff were good tho n didn't have to wait too long for food. Would go back again on a regular day as the food was really nice n not overpriced as some places in city centre

Really nice restaurant with tasty food. Make sure to book a table - I did not and the restaurant was full on an early Friday evening so I could only do take out (entirely my fault!). The hummus and chicken shawarma were very good.

Not impressed with the service at all. We booked to go in at 5.45 a week in advance for iftar and the booking was taken. A few days later they called up saying theres been a double booking and that we can come at 5.15 instead to which we accepted. But then 1 hour before iftar time at approx 5pm 15 mins before the booking they called and cancelled us because they didnt have any space. Would not recommend going here at all.!!!

Great service. And great food. Come here for a good taste of Lebanese cuisine.

Amazing food, friendly fast service

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our food. Service was excellent with tasty Ramadan complimentary treats.

Very family friendly restaurant with a great variety of Lebanese dishes. The okra lamb stew was very good and the Shashlik chicken was delicious and a very generous portion. Would definitely visit again when next in Glasgow.

Great meal here before a concert at Barrowlands. Got a free yummy lentil soup to start. The vibe leaves were amazing and our Okra lamb stew was delish. Great service from Ayni who even saved our food for us while we had to run out and fix parking. Would definitely return.

Great food. Grilled to order with fresh quality meat. You can really taste the quality - everything felt so clean. Chips were really nice too, had a crispy but fluffy texture. Mixed grill for two was enough for 3 people. Highly recommend.

Service is next level terrible. All the reviews are clearly forced. You’re just trying to eat, and next thing you know, there’s a staff member hovering like a drone, making you scan their Google review link right there and then. They literally stand by you, staring like they’re waiting for you to hand over a 5 star review. It’s like they think the only thing that’ll save them from a breakdown is that perfect rating. Just stop, it’s honestly painful!

Ordered and picked up. Can’t quite believe it’s cash only. We would happily sit in and byob but that wasn’t an option. Food good. Barbecue flavour on meat. Delivery would make us order regularly!

Food is fantastic and staff are helpful and very friendly.

This evening was a real surprise. I was really tired for a dinner outside but all got solved with power turkish coffee to start, I must say that was a real strong one and the dinner wad pretty heavy than I expected ,had to ask a takeaway box to pack the balance food. The quantity and quality was on top... Will be visiting often for sure.

Ayni looked after us alot and even gave us free complimentary soup. The place is great value for money and has the best fresh food in glasgow. Couldnt recommend enough.

Another amazing experience in Damasqino with my brother and cousin. The food from the charcoal grill here is outstanding and easily stands head and shoulders above anywhere else in Glasgow, maybe even the U.K.! We were served by Ayni this evening who was polite and attentive, as were the rest of the staff. 10/10 Mixed Grill, and very affordable. Great family dining experience!

It’s our first time having Lebanese food. The food was great and the portion sizes were good too. We were served by Aini and she guided us on what to order aswell. We would definitely be back.

After being here a couple of weeks ago, we were dying to come back for the mango juice but most importantly, the hummus! We got a couple of starters/sides to share and my husband got the shawarma wrap and I got the lamb tikka… I have never tasted anything like it. I love lamb tikka but always resign myself to having to chew a lot… not here. So tender and juicy and the flavour was amazing! To top it all off, Ayni gave the best service, again! All of the staff are so pleasant, but she really is the best! Can’t wait to come back again, and again!

We had an incredible dinner at Damasqino, every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Portion size was too good to be true.. Ayni, who served us, was so friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made sure we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. It was a wonderful dining experience that we’ll definitely be returning for!
