Beirut star in Glasgow City

I love this restaurant, I always come here to eat amazing food and drink coffee (they serve a fantastic cappuccino!). The service is phenomenal and the food is even better. Definitely recommend and I can’t stop coming back!

Food quality is amazing you will taste delicious dishes prepared with the most fresh ingredients, lamb meat is the tenderest ever tried. The owner and young guy with glasses are wonderful hosts, welcoming, attentive, friendly and always with a smile yet professional. They are a wonderful example of how customer care service should be performed: smiling, listening, being resourceful while delivering consistency! Well done and cannot wait to come back to try more dishes!

Hi All, I went there and had a shawarma and orange juice, last week. There was hardly any orange juice in the slim glass they provide (for £5). It's better you drink something outside or buy any drink from the nearby Co-op (It's far cheaper and better). Let me come to the shawarma part, the bread was hard and crispy like poppadoms, which didn't allow me to enjoy the shawarma to my fullest. The meat and filling were dry. One of the staff members at the counter asked how it was and I told the truth, the reply that he gave was:- "this is the Lebanese way". It makes no sense when the organisation doesn't want to honestly correct itself or attend to each and every wishes of their customers. I have tried several Lebanese restaurants and yours is the worst. Please try to improve your food, service and hygiene. Kind regards

The food in Beruit Star is tremendous, I have eaten here so many times and it is always very high standard. The staff are quiet but so friendly. The set menu has a great selection.

Probably the best Lebanese restaurant in Scotland. I was delighted to spot this on Paisley Road West when it first opened its door many years ago and have been eating here ever since. It truly brings a similar taste and experience as eating in one of those Edgware Middle Eastern eateries. Although I haven’t eaten as much as I would like over the years due to its pricing element but one has to understand that one gets what one pays for. I have had misfortunes of trying to find similar tastes elsewhere with other restaurants offering Lebanese’s cuisine around Glasgow but we always return to Beirut Star to celebrate anything important happening within our family. It’s always a treat to try new dishes from its extensive menu as add ons while sticking to our usual ones. I have also had food delivery from here and it’s always spot on. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed Beiruit Star. The food was great. We shared meze and everything was done perfectly. The staff really made an effort without being intrusive. Three of us ate our fill for £40 including soft drinks. It’s just one of those places you wish every success.

Amazing authentic Lebanese restaurant with arguably the best Lebanese food across the UK. Tried multiple dishes and they were all amazing so you can never go wrong with anything. My family loved it. Make sure to visit if you can!

Great food, in a friendly place. On holiday in Glasgow and fancied Lebanese food, took a punt on Beirut Star and we were not disappointed. Great selection of delicious starters and mains cooked to perfection. Great value too!

This place is a hidden gem! Reccomended by a chef, I'm a chef! The food tastes amazing portions are large prices are good would highly reccomend it will be back next chance we get! The grilled chillies were something else 😋

We had the most amazing time at Beiruit Star celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday today. This truly is the greatest hidden gem in Glasgow. We’ve been coming to Beiruit star for years as it is the best truly authentic Lebanese food in Scotland. Barrack is the greatest host, so welcoming, amazing atmosphere and the food is out of this world. Thank you so much and see you again soon Barrack and all the staff.

I had an amazing experience I felt the tables were a bit tightly placed there's not much room like next table was having a full on conversation they were too loud but I couldn't change my seat as we were just the two of us n we got a smaller table. Food was amazing honestly couldnt fault it however, service was a bit slow I felt.

I am French but I live in Australia and I visit Scotland every year and each time I return to the Beirut Star for an unforgettable meal. What an excellent find. I was staying the night nearby and the Beirut Star looked a promising place to have a meal. It exceeded my expectations, I had just what I was looking for- good food, well cooked and friendly, efficient service. Will return when next I am in the area.

Really recommend the set menu. Big group so we had veggie and meat versions. The meat ones…definitely feel like a better deal but the flavours are all amazing. Maybe the best falafel.

I came from London to Scotland and tried this place I will be totally honest the best Lebanese food in the Uk amazing customer service food was very succulent the flavour was very flavoursome.

This place is by far the best place in the whole of Glasgow. I can’t recommend it enough. The food is very well priced for such amazing quality and the staff are very welcoming and extremely polite. If you don’t come here you are missing out. Shout out to a waiter called hadi he is always smiling and quick with his service.

I absolutely understand that you need to make a living but scamming people and sending them horrible food is not acceptable way to run a restaurant. Never again I will order from this place and I don't recommend this place to anybody.

Food was served fresh ,hot and succulent Amazing service .

Food arrived an hour late. It was tasty but far too late. Didnt get any drinks or starters until we complained. Owner was very apologetic and took 10% off our bill but tried to charge us extra for other items so we had to check the bill a few times. He made up for it but I wouldnt go back again. Service was far too slow and the bill wasnt correct.

Not just their food is amazing even their dessert is amazing. Would advise the people are very welcoming and respectful and make you feel welcome

Had a reunion with some eccentric friends here. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, almost too relaxed, as the service was slow at times, but I'll be perfectly honest, that was not an issue. We spent many hours chatting and laughing, so glad we weren't rushed along to fulfil another booking. The staff were lovely, food was delivered promptly, even when we decided multiple times we hadn't ordered enough. Did I mention it was delicious? Highly recommend it, very thankful for my friend who recommended it, I'll be doing the same with mine.

Woweeee !! Food here unbelievable, so many amazing dishes to try. And very generous amounts in each small dish. We had a bunch of hot and cold mezze, we enjoyed many different dishes, and we even ordered seconds! In total it came to about £25 each, which we were very surprised about considering how delicious and how many we had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, great to go with a group of friends and share a lovely meal.

Test good portion too small for wraps had 3 wraps still not full asked for last one without salad there no chicken shawarma just naan heated up. Test good quantity portion too small spend 18 for 3 wraps still didn't fill me up. I hope portion size increase to match the price

This is one of my favourite restaurants, the starters/tapas are next level so we usually just get a big selection of these so we can have maximum variety, the fattoush, savoury pastries, hummus, falafel & spicy potatoes I could honestly have every day. All the food is halal and if you like pineapple I highly recommend getting the pineapple juice here, it's freshly blended and so good!

Food was utterly amazing. Service outstanding. We took recommendations from the owner as to what dishes to order and left the rest to him. Very friendly and down to earth staff. The fattoush salad was the best we have ever tasted. Hummus so creamy and flavourful. The spicy potatoes and bread with minced lamb were delicious. Tried chicken and lamb from the charcoal grill that were great. Leave space for the Baclava!! Will definitely be back.

The Beirut Star provided our staff team's Christmas Lunch this winter and we were blown away with how tasty and fresh the food was - they made us a feast! They accommodated our dietary requirements and made the logistics super easy, as we'd requested take away. Value for money and service with a smile - thank you!

I was finally able to visit Beirut Star which has been on my list of Middle Eastern restaurants to try in Glasgow. As a Lebanese, I really highly recommend this place if you’re looking to have authentic Lebanese food. The service was great, typical Lebanese service, which offered “Batata Harra” (spicy potatoes) on the house. The fattoush was fresh and delicious, the falafel were crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside, just as it should be. The hummus shawarma, stuffed vine leaves and deep fried Kibbeh were really good as well. Overall, it was a great experience and I loved having delicious Lebanese food!!

A friend brought me here on the recommendation of his housemate. It's her favourite and I know why. The set menu for 2 can feed 3 I think. We had enough left over to pack for lunch the next day for one. Really excellent - the mixed grill cannot go wrong.

Been going here for years and it’s my kids favourite restaurant. We have to order at least two of the spicy potatoes or we won’t get any. I’ve never had anything other than delicious food here. We always get the fatoosh, it’s so good they even salad haters love it. The chicken shawarma is also something we order every time and love. The staff are always lovely and it’s a very family friendly atmosphere.

Went in here to try some nice food on a whim. Wasn't sure what to expect but wasn't disappointed. Very welcoming staff. The hummus was divine and the lamb I had along with my friends chicken shawarma was well worth the money. Big portions of food and big flavours. Will definitely go back👌

By writing this review might make it more difficult to get a table, we started going here before going to football and can honestly say have never once left disappointed. The full place is spotless, staff are excellent, food is very reasonably priced, freshly prepared and excellent. While they don't serve alcohol they don't mind you bringing your own in. Would highly recommend a visit to the Beirut Star.
