We had an excellent Sunday lunch, today fantastic food and great service. I came to try out before my birthday weekend here in a few weeks time and after a great experience today, I'm so looking forward to returning for my birthday meal and stay. Thank you to all the staff front of house and in the kitchen. See you again very soon 😀

I went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family. The food was delicious and our server Alex treated us so well, she also recommended the new cocktails that were themed based of fruits, so gooood!!!

Terrific experience. Excellent food across the menu - great cod dish and fillet steak cooked to the perfection. Wine list was great, and reasonably priced. Annie, our server, welcomed us, took care over our order and was very attentive without being intrusive. We would be very, very happy to return

We have been to celebrate a birthday which we do every year. Jaden our waiter was amazing from start to finish, very impressionable, relatable and overall all very funny waiter who made the evening ✨

Our waitress Annie was friendly and courteous and didn’t rush us at all. She wasn’t familiar with our wine choice but happily found out to explain the differences. The food was delicious - we had pork belly, salmon and chateaubriand . A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Food was out of this world and the lady who served us was fantastic. The extra little touches such as complimentary fizz, pre-starter and special chocolates really helped to make our 15th wedding anniversary special - thank you!

This is our fourth stay at this hotel this year and still have to experience a fault or problem. The service is impeccable, the food delectable and the comfort of the rooms to dream of. A special mension to Kia and Rosie for their exceptional service. We will be returning again soon.

From the initial contact with Dakota to arrange a surprise celebration for my friends upcoming wedding for 30 Guests the service was brilliant. The management for organising, the service from Sophie & Alex on the night, and the food were all fantastic and would highly recommend.

Great venue, fantastic food, ordered the fillet, cooked to perfection with a peppercorn sauce and sides. Excellent service especially our waitress Sophie, very tentative, couldn’t have done anymore to make our night very special. Thank you.

Went here last night (12th) and straight away we were greeted by a charming Scottish gentleman (sorry didn't get his name) who made us feel very welcome. We were shown to our table and given prosecco to celebrate my birthday! Our waitress for the evening was Mollie who was very pleasant and attentive the whole night. The food was sublime and some of the nicest Halibut I have ever tasted. The whole ambience of Dakota is perfect, a very special place indeed and we will definitely be returning.

Came for a night away and dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was such a special treat!! We had wonderful servers, Victoria and Jaden, who were attentive, lovely and made the evening a delight. We can’t wait to come back!

We had Sunday lunch and was served by the fantastic Eleanor H. Food was delicious and service was 5 star including some delicious cocktails. We then stayed in the new 1st floor suites which were absolutely amazing!! The most beautiful decor completed with a huge balcony. Very luxurious. Can’t wait to stay again.

The food was delicious and Maddie was super nice and friendly. As it was my birthday she really did make an effort to make the day a special occasion and even brought out complimentary Prosecco and a little happy birthday dessert. Loved it!!

My husband took me, as an early birthday celebration, to Leeds for a few days. Telling me we were staying at Dakota Deluxe, we looked online over the amenities including restaurant offerings. When looking at dinner we were pleasantly surprised that a ‘Taste of Dakota’ was offered which looked perfect for one evening, so we booked for 19:00 for our first evening. When seated, and menus provided, we asked if we could review the tasting menu as shown online and were advised this wasn’t available as it had to be pre-ordered. We said we didn’t notice anything about the need to pre-order so our server went to the kitchen and again said it wasn’t available as it had to be pre-booked. We asked to speak to a restaurant manager and were advised no one was available. After a brief discussion with each other, we decided to leave as our expectations weren’t being met before we even started. As we had to pass through reception to go to our room, we stopped to front desk to advise what happened and query why there was nothing on the website indicating the pre-order requirement. The person who took on responsibility of explaining this to us repeatedly said it was a requirement but couldn’t explain to us how we would know that if it wasn’t stated. This was back and forth a few times until I asked him to please look on their site and direct my attention to where it said that. Of course when he looked it wasn’t there and he said he would bring that to the attention of the Operations manager. At no point during this entire ‘discussion’ was an apology made or a suggested different option made. We were left to feel we were at fault for not doing something of which there was absolutely no indication to do. A thoroughly unpleasant way to start this celebratory visit. After the fact, Miguel got back in touch and offered us the tasting menu the next night which we declined as we had other plans. He also advised that the website had been revised to reflect the pre-order requirement. Thankfully, no one else will now go through what we did. Miguel then did look to rectify the overall situation with a few kind gestures including a pre-dinner drink with his compliments the following night. While this was appreciated and showed a genuine concern for our dissatisfaction.

We had a really nice meal. Staff were really friendly and professional, especially Sophie who looked after us - thank you. Looking forward to coming back.

Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. Superb service from Sophie. My only gripe- tables were a little too close together to give the required amount of privacy between dining parties.

Dakota Restaurant offers a unique menu well presented cuisine with a delightful taste and customer service was excellent your staff “ Sophie” ensured we had everything we need drinks and food and we were satisfied and delighted with the standard of service we received from her.

We had Eleanor.H as our waitress, her service was quick and friendly making the whole meal enjoyable. We will be returning for a meal in the future.

Latest overnight stay at Dakota for my wife's birthday. We were looked after amazingly, as always, with special mention to Geagia and George in the Restaurant. Food is always delicious and the service is second to none. Very highly recommended!
