I love their malatang; the sesame spicy sauce is especially delicious. The mix includes like fish tofu, fish balls, shrimp balls, rice noodles and various vegetables. Got fooled by recommendations on Xiaohongshu. Won't be coming back. The prices are high, and the skewers taste like frozen food from the supermarket—nothing fresh or flavorful. Other items are mediocre as well, with nothing worth recommending. There's basically no service, and the overall experience was very disappointing. I was deceived by Xiaohongshu and I will never come back again. The price is expensive, and the kebabs taste like frozen food bought in the supermarket, with no fresh feeling at all. Other things are also very average, nothing special to recommend. The service was basically non-existent and the overall experience was disappointing.

There are very few dog-friendly restaurants in Chinatown. • Korean cold noodles Cool and refreshing, sweet and sour, slightly salty, with a bit of mustard spice. The noodles are chewy and the soup base is light and relieves greasiness. grilled leeks The caramel aroma is rich, and the unique umami flavor of leeks is intertwined with the aroma of charcoal fire. Grilled Eggplant Charred on the outside and tender on the inside, rich in seasonings (minced garlic, chili), salty and slightly spicy. roasted peppers The burnt aroma brought by the charcoal fire combines with the spiciness of the chili pepper, which is spicy and fresh, and the seasoning is salty and slightly sweet. Grill ② rack The outside is crispy, the inside is juicy, the seasoning is rich, mixed with cumin or spicy, and it is very enjoyable to chew. Went for some food after work - was pleasantly surprised by this Chinese bbq place. Excellent food, with tons of options that include noodles as well. Pints were decently priced and go well with the bbq meat.

I didn’t expect to come here for barbecue, but I also got rice cakes and spicy hotpot! . The glutinous rice cake is soft and glutinous, sweet but not greasy in the mouth, so delicious! . Malatang, I didn’t expect a portion to taste so big, full of spiciness, and tasted particularly fragrant. I love the texture of the tofu skin absorbing the aroma of the chili pepper, so stubborn! . Grilled scallops, there are really many fans, there is a whole big scallop underneath, tender and smooth, super fresh in the mouth! . There are also fully automatic skewers that can be turned by yourself without using your hands. After the beef tendons are grilled, the texture is really sticky in the mouth, which is super delicious! The beef skewers and mutton skewers are not fishy at all, and the dipping sauce is super fragrant! . The roasted leeks are green and fresh, and have a great fragrance of leeks in the mouth. The BBQ here is really fresh! We ordered beef, lamb, beef tongue, and beef tendon. The beef tendon was a pleasant surprise—so chewy and flavorful! The automatic grill is super convenient as you don’t have to cook it yourself; the staff even helps by placing the grilled items on the rack to keep them warm. The Northeastern-style sesame sauce malatang was delicious, slightly spicy, and packed with a variety of vegetables—just the right portion for a group to share. The grilled chives came pre-grilled and were served as a ready-to-eat dish. The staff was attentive and always available with great service. Overall, highly recommend this place!

Had a decent experience, I'd say if you are hungry don't come here as the portions are small and you'll leave hungry if you're in a budget. They asked for cash only and they will give us 10% discount which went to the 10% service charge anyway.

I don’t have high expectations for restaurants in Chinatown, but based on my experience this time, most of the food tastes pretty good. The kidneys are roasted and served by the store and are a bit overcooked. Other ingredients are pretty good. The beef rice bowl with free refills for 7.99 is quite filling. The spicy tripe recipe is also amazing. In terms of service, the whole process was quite polite.

This is very much a tourist trap. The food was salty, saucy and mediocre. The total of my bill was12 GBP, but I’m being overcharged for 14.7 GBP or more. That’s freaking $18.5 USD for some trashy noodles that BAARELY had any meat. The noodles were mellow and chewy, not exactly but close to rubberish texture. It’s fiiine to be expensive, but at least provide some value to the customers. And stop overcharging/scamming customers. Dishonest owner.

It tastes so bad that I want to vomit. The roasted eggplant is no bigger than my mobile phone. The chicken wings are smaller than my earphones. The smelly lamb kidneys are so disgusting that I want to vomit. They are so disgusting, expensive and tasteless. It’s better to dig through the garbage in the garbage dump. It’s the same thing anyway. Disgusting, no need to pay, NEVER COME AGAIN! NEVER!

Salty, poor service attitude at the front desk, not recommended

Booked with the fork and got 20% off our bill. The two of us ordered about around 15 skewers (heavily flavoured in cumin in a good and authentic way) in total, 5 wings and two veggie side dishes but it didn’t fill us up completely. Food was delicious but slightly expensive for the portion. Place was quite noisy and it was hard to have a conversation. Good experience though just unsure if I’ll be back. If I’m craving for skewers again I’ll probably go to a Uyghur restaurant. Service was alright but you’ll have to stressed your app booking discounts for them to offer you the discount.

First things first this place is way to expensive considering how much they portions their meals and drinks as well. The chicken skewers didn’t taste like chicken so I personally only favoured enjoying the Beef Skewers. The place was kept well and tidy so no complaints against that. Staff members were decent to an extent such as bringing your ordered dish out quickly, offering extra sides and so on tho they tend to group up and joke around. It was honestly a nice experience to see the skewers cook and rotate, though I don’t think I’ll come back again and spend so much money just to fill myself up. Tho I highly recommend their fried dough with condense milk. Best dessert I’ve had

The grilling machines are definitely what stands out for this place as you you can leave them on the grill and it will automatically spin for skewers to be cooked evenly. I personally felt that the dip tasted better than the meats. Some of the meats do not taste very fresh which is a bit concerning and kitchen staff can be seen cutting and handling raw meat in the dining area which does not seem hygienic. The restaurant shares the toilet with the next door restaurant, and it is in a very sorry state.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The price for the food was also quite cheap considering the atmosphere and location. I also love the idea of having the skewers cook in front of me. There were five of us and in total we spent about £126(after discount). Because it was my birthday and I booked the table in advance, they offered me a free bowl of noodle and a discount. Would recommend it for people who is looking for Chinese BBQ near Chinatown, or a BBQ party with a group of friends Personally I didn't like the beef tripe skewer and the pork kidney with fat skewers. They have a weird after taste to it. Food I really like -belly slices skewer -glutinous rice cake -beef tendon skewer -beef brisket skewer -lamb skewer Also tried a range of different skewers, they are alright.

Were to begin I post many reviews and very rarely give 1 star. First off the menu pictures are very misleading showing a picture of glass coke and then being served a can for £3 is a compete joke. Pictures show 3 skewers yet its price for 1 and this not explained on the menu or by the staff. Despite being the only people in the entire resturant the service was atrocious and the staff are not welcoming and have little care for the customer. The concept was not explained and when the food was served nothing was explained and just quickly thrown together on one side. The staff seemed more interested in gathering together and talking and laughing loudly which was very unprofessional. The table design is very bad and tight there is no room to share anything. We ordered a wrap set and had to keep passing the hole box back and forth over very hot grill. The large sauce as part of the set comes with no spoon almost impossible to apply the sauce to the wraps with chopstick. The skewers can only be picked up from one side again meaning only one person has to cook and serve all the skewers and again pass them over a very hot grill which has a large obstruction high up in the middle making process even more difficult. The food itself is definitely not worth the price with extremely tiny portions and lack of any quality tastes more like budget supermarket food if anything. The bill came to £40 for those tiny skewers we didn’t order anymore and went to eat somewhere else to cleanse our pallets of this horrible experience. Also as many others mentioned in other reviews we also had 2 missing skewers which they tried to charge us for. We were the only dinners in the whole Resturant not surprising so not possible for them just make an honest mistake this seems more like common practice so check your bills if you decide to visit but do so at your own risk. Overall it was a very horrible experience and the best part was leaving.

It is a very decent chinese restaurant, fresh ingredients, good flavoring and very modern setup. Maybe due to the location, the price is amazingly high comparing to the amount of food you are getting. But the flavoring has nothing to complain. The waiter put the table number as the amount of guest on table, so there is a unbelievable overcharge for the side ingredient but it was quickly fixed when they are informed. They offered you the order details printed after you order, so you can control it easily so I think it is just a small operational mistake. It probably gonna cost about 80 pounds each if you want to get well fed in this restaurant, but for the location, the food quality and atmosphere I would say it worth it.

Went for a late lunch, so no need to queue. The way of BBQing is a new experience. Food tasted good. Portion was rather small. Spent around £110 for 2 person But I have to say that the waitress are not the friendliest.

You will get scammed. You will get tricked by the pictures when ordering, they are deceiving. You will be charged £1 extra/person for a spoonful of dry spice which they will place on your table when you sit, without asking. The meat is low, gristly, awful quality. I have tried many places in London and this is the WORST we've ever visited. Won't even bother getting into the things that were appalling by the waiters service. You should visit, just so you can remember reading this and hopefully with enough negative reviews this scam factory can shut down.

The food was good, authentic Chinese barbecue flavour and the dipping. You should order everything at first round, waiting time a bit long. Highly recommend to try the Chinese sausage and the oyster, they were very nice. The price overall a bit pricey. The service need some improvement.

It's a cool joint to try Chinese BBQ, a bit pricey and they forgot most of our order, but it's OK. The lady welcoming us wasn't happy at all, but i guess who is happy working on a holiday. Either way, cool choice to try near that area.

Walked past first and it looked interesting place to eat, so went in, full of locals eating,service was appalling, sat waiting to be served, then forgot one of our dishes! didn't explain the concept of ordering food, worked out are selves food was ok, very over priced at £74 for two of us, which included a couple of beers, lesson learnt!

We walked past this place on the way to eat somewhere else- as it caught our eye we stopped and were happy to wait 10 mins for a seat. It was busy. Smelled amazing and the concept looked wicked. Service- so the system wasn't explained to us at all- you get given a menu and have to put how many you'd like of each item. The Skewers are then put onto the rotisserie thing for you and taken off when done- this wasn't explained but you soon figure it out. The cooker thing in front of you is very hot and it does almost feel like you're sat in front of an open fire. The skewers are small and the prawn one came as one large prawn- head and body and all. This was annoying to pick apart to be honest but my fault for not asking. The chicken was tough and lots of gristle you had to spit back out so this was really disappointing. Our bill came to £55 for 2 with one beer and 2 soft drinks and I still wasn't satisfied. Also the noodles are definitely super noddles....Good flavour but disappointing. Not the place to come if you're a veggie as poor selectio

Conceptually - it’s great. Any Chinese person would know this store is basically a carbon copy of a famous Mainland franchise (although / obviously not affiliated). The starters are great, and going down the gullet the skewers are tasty. However: 1. without fail, you’ll get an upset stomach everything you visit (not sure if it’s quality of meat or just staff removing skewers too early); 2. portions are laughably small; and 3. everything is overpriced. I get that rent is high in the area, but with such high turnover and customer loyalty - can they not improve on quality and quantity? I’m sure this could then help them expand into a national franchise and help bottom line. Case in point - Tian Tian supermarket focuses on quality and quantity (of stock), and has exploded throughout London. Food for thought.

Sad to say (because we really wanted to like this store): 1. portions are indeed tiny for outrageous price - I mean come on, you don’t need to cut a fish ball into half, and the meat skewers are bit size; 2. perpetually understaffed during prime meal times; 3. we consistently get stomach ache after venturing here (this time lasting from the meal itself to three days after); 4. beer taste watered down; and 5. cash over card. These make a potentially great experience sour. It’s a shame because their cold starters are fantastic and they do evidently draw inspiration from great outlets in Mainland. Maybe one day they can improve. Until then, 1 star is all I am give.

Walked past this and went in because it looked interesting and we love to grill meats at the table. Should have kept walking. Really expensive considering you cook it yourself with a limited menu labelled in a really strange way. Portions are tiny. The sides were really limited with no greens, so you feel a bit full and gross after. No offer of platters. It’s messy but just one napkin. They put all the skewers on for you then move it to a top rack, so they hover around a lot and the fat drips down onto the other skewers. Drinks served without ice or glass (you’re charged enough for it to be) and get warm next to grill in the can or bottle. You can see the fat that’s accumulated underneath the skewers. A waitress put on skewers and let the raw meat juice just drip on the table and didn’t even bother to wipe it. Some bins were very close to other diners and bin bags were unceremoniously dragged through the front of the restaurant whilst people were still eating. Left feeling dirty and out of pocket. Saw people eating crawfish which looked ok. Kimchi was nice. Service was fine but could be more friendly and welcoming. Go get Korean BBQ. It’s much better value for money and the meat and sides are much better.

The meat was heavily marinated (improperly, not the Chinese way), the langoustines tasted like they have been frozen for over a year. Both me and my friend had terrible stomachache the next day.
