Da Vinci Italian Restaurant & Prosecco Bar in Sheffield

What a fantastic Italian restaurant on woodseats! Visited last Saturday after a high recommendation and were not disappointed. Some of our party been here before but for us it was a first time but definitely not the last. We received a spot on service and the food was to die for. Everything so tasty and freshly prepared goes well with a good wines too. The portions were so generous that we had to share a dessert (also very nice). We all had a really enjoyable evening, fantastic food and really pleasant & friendly service. No doubt we will be back very soon to enjoy another meal and thank you for a great night.

We went for Christmas Eve and couldn’t believe how gorgeous the food was. Although food did take a while to come out, this was due to the fact every single item made was fresh and from scratch. For this we did not mind a wait at all and the owner was very apologetic about this also. It was absolutely worth it! The food was so divine and the quality outstanding. The whole experience was also made lovelier by how approachable the owner was. Even though rushed off her feet, she took time to be attentive to our every need and stopped for a chat about the restaurant and how it came to be. We had garlic bread and the mozerella with Parma ham to start with. For mains, a vegetarian and a chicken pancake as well as a seafood medley. All of which we would be happy to order again. Please bear in mind that service might be a little slower than an average high street restaurant, but for us we felt it was completely worth it. We definitely will be returning! The restaurant is a lovely little gem just off the main road. When we arrived we received a warm greeting, and shown to our table immediately. The select of food is lovely, the starters we very nice, for our mains we both chose chicken, which was beautifully cooked very moist and tender,our waitress was so polite and friendly. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the amount out time it took from sitting down to our starters arriving was a good 30 minutes, and our mains arrives very quickly. Which was a little bit of a surprise as our table was booked for 9 pm so most diners had finish. That said I will absolutely go again, and would happily recommend it to friends and family anytime.

What a little gem, tucked away just off Chesterfield Road on Woodseats. Very pleasant service and the food excelled. Served hot on warm plates with such lovely flavours and presentation. This is a place not to be missed!!

Myself and five friends booked the restaurant for our Christmas get together. We chose from the festive menu and were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. The service was also excellent. We will definitely go again.

Had a meal from the Festive Menu with a group of friends yesterday. It was fabulous! The six of us chose different options for all three courses and not one was disappointing. The service was excellent, the presentation of the food was lovely and the taste was amazing. We’re already working out when we can make a return visit.

Visited on a Saturday evening with friends and were able to choose where we wanted to sit as the restaurant was not too busy. As it was a cold night we chose a table at the side of a radiator. It had a nice atmosphere and was trimmed up for Christmas. Just the 1 waitress on but she managed OK, we did wait a while for food but it didn't bother us as we were happy to drink & have a chat. The food was beautiful and plentyful and well worth the price of meal. We were able to take our own wine which is always a bonus, the corkage was £3 very reasonable. All in all we had a lovely evening and would visit again.

Was a little bit hard to find as it’s not clearly advertised from chesterfield road but it’s worth putting in your maps. I had gnocchi it was delicious and my partner had steak and said it was the best he has ever had even ate the side dishes and said the veg was cooked to perfection and so were potatoes. Really really nice place I never review unless it’s really bad this is my first ever positive review they really deserve it thank u for a lovely meal

My friends and I went to Da Vinci in October 2019 and we weren't disappointed. We sat in the upstairs conservatory area which was cosy and tastefully decorated, I particularly liked the fairy lights. We all had starters & mains but had to share the dessert. The food was beautiful, very tasty and good size portions. The Tiramisu was amazing, you could tell all the food had been freshly prepared. The waitress was really pleasant, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Da Vinci, the restaurant has a lovely ambience and the food is great. We all agreed we would definitely dine there next time we meet up.

Visited Da Vinci with close friends on Monday evening we truly enjoyed our evening and meal Rachel made us feel very welcomed the pasta was cooked perfect al dente and the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and extremely tender ... all went down with 2 bottles Of primitivo 🙃.. !!! Well done Mimmo and Rachel keep up with the good work ... definitely will go again

Had the early bird menu with friends. I had a very nice mushroom starter followed by excellent pizza, brilliant value for £12. Nice atmosphere thought quiet on a weekday evening, but fine for us to have a good catch up. Will definitely go again soon.

Outstanding food. I had the beef Ragu, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever tasted. Including holidaying in Napoli & Ischia. Great atmosphere, helpful staff and a very cool chef Mimmo....I understand he's the owner. Oh and my favourite lager on tap Moretti. Bonus

Just got back from a delicious meal here, we've been quite a few times now and it's becoming one of our favourite places to eat in Sheffield! Delicious Italian food, really welcoming and friendly staff and a great atmosphere! We'll be back soon!

First visit to this restaurant, food was lovely although not as much choice as other Italian restaurants I've have been too. Seafood pancake had a huge amount of different seafood in, definitely recommend that dish. The placeace itself is very nice inside, my only criticism...

We have been twice recently, for a birthday with 8 of us, and last week just 2of us. Both times the food has been really delicious and everyone enjoyed it. All fresh and we'll cooked, proper Italian food. Nice service too

Friday evening 23 November with my wife and two friends. We all had starters (the guys had mussels which were gorgeous. The ladies had goat’s cheese, equally gorgeous). The main courses, two fish and two rib-eye steaks were cooked to perfection and accompanied by lovely...

Not good atall. 1 3/4 hrs and only a starter. Burnt garlic bread, overdone pizzas and no apology. Wouldn’t go again

Visited on a Wednesday night....we were the only people in. We choose the set menu.....the garlic bread was lovely..but unfortunately the meatballs were cold. They were replaced by piping hot ones...again really tasty. Our pasta dishes were tasty and good sized portions. Desert again...really good....

Saturday night, we had 2 starters and 2 mains and all were very good. A bottle of house red which was very nice and at a very good price Very good value for money and good service. We would recommend and will go again

This restaurant has recently changed hands, the meal we had last night was absolutely superb, and very reasonably priced. Good selection of dishes, vegetarian and meat and fish. I shared an antipasta starter that was gorgeous, with different meats, artichokes, olives - plenty for 2....
