Curry Zone in Glasgow City

Fantastic - I was in today around 16:00, ordered a South Indian Garlic Curry with my friend - The service was great, the staff are friendly and it is easily the best curry in the south side of Glasgow, if not the whole city! Ten out of ten, Nicky recommends!

First time ever ordering as most places were closed. This was at 1.15am on a Thursday and it came within the hour, the amount of food is unholy! It could feed a family of 7! Absolutely fantastic, well worth the money and it tasted absolutely fantastic, will be ordering again during normal hours from now on! Good job!

Best Indian on PRW. Can't beat their fresh dough pizza and tasty curries. The guys serving are friendly and always willing to help. Keep it up lads.

Got kebab pizza from curry zone first class pizza

Eat from here all the time and the food is amazing. Very pleasant workers in shop aswell. Would eat from any other Indian takeaway.

Just had chicken donner kebab on Nan bread must say it was delicious really enjoyed it delivered quickly and portion size great price also fab only thing I can say is would have liked Nan bread bit more toasted but really just a preference thing for me but thoroughly enjoyed my kebab 10/10 and chilli & garlic sauce was great fresh and tasty will definitely be ordering again 🙂👍👌

Worst Experience, food is like a garbage

Generally pretty good, and late night. Garlic sauce with the pizzas, curry pizzas are great, sometimes but not often short a bit of cheese on the top

Ordered the hubby Pizza, chips and cheese and a can of coke and he said the food was delicious hot and fresh. The can of coke was forgotten, but the customer service on calling was very professional and unlike other places when this happens, normally get told it can get added to a future order, They sent 2 cans out immediately, allowing it to arrive whilst the food was still hot and fresh. Top marks for great customer service.

Just had my first delivery from curry zone chicken pakora and chicken buhna was excellent 👌 and burger was brilliant all food I ordered from here was excellent. Definitely going bk again.

I ordered the hot and spicy pizza which came looking like a regular margarita pizza, I looked inside the pizza which should have had green chillies and spicy mince and chicken and there was a red thin sliced up chicken with no chillies or mince when I called they said it was all mixed into a paste. The paste wasn't satisfying at all and I was really disappointed I would rather the pizza be stated that the vegetables wouldn't be in whole but in paste. Not a good pizza, I don't like leaving bad reviews but avoid. Paste is different from vegetables

Very large tasty pizza. My son loved the pakora & he's fussy. Ordered three times now from here. Not been disappointed yet.

Ordered for the first and last time last night £70 wasted on dry inedible pakora and very poor curries. Will never be ordering from them again.

Ordered from here after work, late on a Sunday night, due to most of my regular curry houses being closed. My Curry was amazing, great flavour and huge amount of spice and heat. The naan was the largest I’ve ever received from a takeaway outlet. The time between ordering and it being ready was short, so it was waiting for me when I turned up. I will be back.

Boss was very nice and dealing was also awesome, I appreciate Curry Zone owner Uncle g.

First time we have ordered from Curry Zone and will definitely be the last, we got cheese n chips, sky scraper burger and a chicken pizza. I will start with the positives the chips are good as was the cheese chips not a big portion but ok for the price, the pizza was ok too but it’s very hard to mess up a pizza . the kebab meat however is just rusk and spices there is very little lamb in it whatsoever, very cheap meat if you can call it meat. The sky scraper burger was foul rock solid burgers which again had very little meat content and a dry bun, oh I forgot to mention the onion bhajis which if you gave this to anyone Indian they would punch you in the face.

Only being honest. It's a nah from me. Won't be back. Food was....oooft and the vibe I picked up ..nah sorry. You might find different

I asked for a pizza to be made and chips and I was told a could pay at my door by card and it didn't work so I paid £10 in cash delivery cost £15.... very embarrassing

The delivery times are ridiculous and inaccurate, 40 mins was an hour and a half. Each time we asked for an update we were told it was on its way. When it arrived it wasn’t worth the wait. I wouldn’t use this take away again, cold food

When this first opened it was really good but has went downhill. The korma was very watery and the pizza came with a dead moth. I wouldn't eat here again.

Bad device ,late , not worth the money.

After reading all the negative reviews on Google I was expecting the worst. However, the food was incredible and exceeded all expectation! Very hot, freshly cooked and delicious - the best and most flavourful curries we've had.

Avoid this shop used to be good it's went right down hill ordered a spicy chicken pizza and chips got a cheese pizza phoned and asked them to send it again no chips not even worth the hassle will never be using it again

Have ordered twice now, best tasting mushroom rice, and best mixed pickle. The Chicken Tikka starters and lamb are fab as well, fresh salad, just wish portions were bigger. Wanted to order again, but closed. Avoid uber deliveries, driver wants you to go to the carpark and meet him. At ten pm. If you want your food. He is called Tomas. The cheek of the guy. Lock up your daughters.

Food is Dot Cotton.This takeaway used to have a good reputation & great food but they must have changed management or something! Had a delivery of a lamb curry, rice and soggy chips all dumped into one long polystyrene container with only four small pieces of lamb. Looked and smelled like a dog had just puked the contents of its stomach up! I couldn't even touch it. Pakora was rock solid too. Ended up getting a reluctant refund from them a few days later after several emails back and forth. If you don't want your Saturday night ruined certainly seek another curry shop. Also check the names of all the 5 star reviews below! Must be all staff lol

Got a kebab from this place gave me food poisoning was on the floor being sick for three days . Must have been a dodgy kebab be very careful wouldn't trust buying anything from this shop better safe than sorry. Clearly they dont take care of there food unhygienic and dangerous bacteria be careful.

Must have changed hands, just received the worst mixed papora ever... Burnt tae (you know the missing word). Dreadful.

Order a Tikka chicken but received chicken Pakora. Phoned shop nobody answer the calls. Avoid!

Avoid like the plague. Ordered a Chicken Korma and a Plain Nan - got some form of Chicken Curry (not Korma) and no nan, also food wasnt overly warm. Phoned Uber eats who couldnt help as the order wasnt completed but sent a email asking for feedback instead of actually helping me. Phoned resturant who also couldnt help as they said only uber eats could deal with the problem. So in the end, didnt get what I ordered, food was cold and Uber eats wont speak to you as order is completed. Utter shambles.

Used curry zone for the first time tonight, food arrive cold, phoned them to let them know they were not interested, expensive meal for cold food won't use them again and don't recommend

Just had delivery, chicken korma, the chicken was as chewy nearly chocked as so chewy, never again and was recommended by a friend

Always have the Stuffed Crust 14" pizza on a weekly basis its fantastic. The base is always fresh and the chicken tikka always tastes amazing.The curries I have tried have a restaurant feel to them. Definitely recommend.

Just had another delicious meal from Curry Zone on Paisley Rd West in Cardonald on Sunday evening 28th February 2021 and wanted to post a review about how good this takeaway is. Some of the reasons I rate Curry Zone so highly include friendliness of staff, quality of food and service, value for money, however I believe what sets it apart from other establishments is the consistency of the dishes. I can personally recommend Chicken Tikka Bhoona, Lamb Dhabi Lahori, Chicken Tikka Karahi, South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka to name but a few and if pizza is your thing, the spicy chicken is excellent. If you haven`t tried Curry Zone or used them in a while (it changed hands towards the end of last year and is under new management) I urge you to give them a try, especially if like me, you are a fan of curries and/or pizzas. Put an order in last night for 2 hot and spicy burgers. Burger has ( spicy mince, donner meat and spicy chicken on top of a cheeseburger. Also salad and chips with sauce. My order came but all i recieved was 2 dry chicken burgers no sauce salad or anything that i asked for. Order came at 11.45 pm so when i tryed to call to fix the order no one answerd the phone im very disappointed with the service that i recieved. They obviously couldnt be botherd making my correct order because they were close to closing time and hit us with 2 disgusting dry burgers. Im taking my food back today and i will be asking for a reason why and also a full refund including the tip i gave to their driver. Im so annoyed with this service.

Wow. Ordered delivery: Raita, pappadam, lamb biryani, lamb curry. Deeeeeeeelicious. Best Indian FoodI have had in 2-3 years and I travel all over New England & Eastern Shore. Very nice on the phone, very noce delivery person. Sorry I am from out of state or this would be a weekly thing. Hats off to Kurry Zone!

New owner. Terrible decline in food quality. Terrible staffing now who cannot cook or prepare food. Pick another curry house for yourself.

I have ordered several curries and they have been delicious. Sadly on Saturday night that was not the case. The pakora was really greasy and was not fresh. The curries were awful as if someone had put sugar in instead of salt. It all went in the bin.

Best Pizza I have had in Glasgow!!! and that includes Italian resturants!!! Amazing Pizzas!!! The staff are helpful and friendly too. The doner kebab, chilli sauce, salad and curry need some changes though. Here are the changes that are needed: As most othe kebab shops in Glasgow the same changes that need to be made are for the chilli sauce to be changed and for it to no longer be sweet but for it to be chilli based ie the way it should be made is with a good Mutti pizza sauce or tinned tomatos, chopped fresh green chillis, with fresh garlic, fresh onion, a little thick, suitable spices, a little heat then blended together and made fresh every day... similar to the chilli sauce at Istanbul on Paisley Road West or Best Kebab Dundas Street. Chilli Sauce makes a Kebab! Not sure if they use Tomato Ketchup and/or sugar but neither Tomato Ketchup or sugar should ever be used when making Kebab chilli sauce and chilli sauce should never be sweet. The Kebab salad was pretty good but the same as most other Glasgow kebab shops they miss out many important salads, so I would recommend is, not just for this place but for all other Kebab shops in Glasgow is to have what kebab shops have in other parts of the UK which is a big bowl of cucumber, big bowl of Pickled red cabbage, big bowl of pickled white cabbage, big bowl of tomatoes, bowl of Lemons, big bowl of lettuce, big bowl of onion, big bowl of cucumber and ask the customer what salad would they like? all or which Salad? Also the curry (the same as everywhere else in Glasgow) needs to have far less ginger and far less spices, I dont meant hot I mean less spices, the currys here I feel are too harsh. The curry sauce should be a gentle vegetable flavour for all the curries other than ofcourse madras, vindaloo ie the hot currys but all the other currys should be a gentle vegetable flavour and ofcourse some spices but not overly done with spices. You should also not be able to taste the ginger in curry either. Also to use a expensive tender chicken, some places use a awful cheap rubber chicken in curry and thats just not on! Hopefully these things can be added/changed :)

Pakora came with 2 litres of oil on it and was disgusting wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Disappointed at the reheated chips & donner meat. Have no idea how long the tray of cooked chips had been sitting out b4 being flung into the fryer to be reheated. Id imagine a long time as it was 10pm. Chips were soggy and disgusting. Wont be going there for a kebab again, however my partner said his korma was nice.
