Not for me I'm afraid, much better options in town.

Worst takeaway I have ever had. The Delivery was a little late which is understandable if busy but the quality of the food was appalling, the chips were stone cold, the korma was like water, the chicken pakora tasted like fish, the naan breads were undercooked, the peshwari had a big clump of coconut in the middle but empty everywhere else, the cheese naan must have been made by someone allergic to cheese cause there was hehaw in it and the poppadoms were more like a back of crisps as the biggest piece that was left was about the size of a £2 coin. The rice was OK.

It is most clean, had served delicious Indian/Nepali food include pulao rice, peace- paneer vage, cucumber- potato pickel, chiken rost. Best food, cleaned. Polite staffs.

Lovely fish pakoras and onion bhajis. Chicken in the balti excellent quality. However let down by the curry sauce, not to my liking

Ordered delivery via Just Eat. Delivery was fine but food was terrible, really bad! Popadoms, chips, tandoori dishes, chicken pakoras and naan bread, everything was old, undercooked and barely edible. Will not be ordering from here again

Good choice for a takeaway. Good food and range of dishes, friendly staff, minimal wait with comfortable seating and adequate parking available.

So disappointed. Waited over an hour and a half for food. Arrived and tubs of tikka masala half full. Sauce was watery and I counted 5 cubes of chicken. Never again Curry Pot!

40% off on Dunfermline eats. I think the portions were 40% off too. No salad with lamb starter, naan bread very under fired and doughy also the lamb curry had very small pieces of dry lamb and hardly any. Used to enjoy this place but never again

I was roaming with my family in Scotland and entered in to the restaurant. The food was delicious with optimally added spices.the service was also very good . My whole family enjoyed. We will definitely return back to the restaurant . Highly recommend with 5star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just got a lamb dupiaza from there and I’ve had soup with more texture. I counted and it only has 6 tiny pieces of lamb and practically no onions (which a dupiaza is supposed to be thick with) Won’t be using them again.

Loved the garlic nan, one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely order from here again.

Service was great, greeted with smiles and felt welcome during a busy time. the place smells so nice. Highly recommend if you still havent tried.

The takeaway food from Curry Pot is excellent. The shop and the kitchen are very clean and welcoming. The food is all freshly cooked so plan for a short wait but the wait is worth it. There is complimentary coffee whilst you wait and a big TV usually with sport. We have tried a few dishes and never been disappointed.

The food is always of the highest quality and standard. It is prepared in an open plan kitchen whilst you wait and you can watch your order being cooked.

Have thoroughly enjoyed every meal from this establishment, and the portion sizes are great too. Excellent ordering and pick up service too. Overall great stuff.

I love the chicken tikka massala from here and my husband loved the madras. We ordered online and it said the wait would be 60 minutes. They delivered it within 20 minutes. Great service.

Loved the biryani, lamb cooked well n some flavours stood out that i havent normally tasted in biryani. The karahi was really nice too.

Occasionally try the other Indians in and around Dunfermline for a change but almost return here as consistently good/the best.

I was regular customer from 3 years in this takeaway, I naver fill bad food , now a days more delicious and super food specially chicken tikka masala and korma even other food . Keep up your quality ... don’t be disappoint in your quality.

The food here is excellent, good hygiene and amazing staff that help you with any requirements. Defiantly recommend dishes such as saag gosht, lamb Karahi and chicken madras. These were the dishes we had and each have unique and wonderful flavours. I’m from Pakistan and I know what true west Asian food should taste like and this is it. The size and quantity is great for the price and the meat taste fresh.

Ordered takeaway last weekend and a small issue with the food delivered, phoned up and they had it sorted and replaced within 15-20 mins. Top service. Top food. Top prices.

Regularly visit Curry Pot for a take away - almost every week and for quality it is superior to anywhere locally. Friendly, great service always and the Chicken Tikka main course is excellent - excellent fresh chicken and decent sized portions.

Our go to Indian takeaway, always perfect

Dropped in for a quick supper by chance and ordered lamb madras curry with mushroom rice. Absolutely delicious. Generous portion of melt in the mouth lamb in a hot spicy and flavoursome sauce. Great to have heat and flavour not the old burn the tongue stuff. Well cooked tasty rice. Lovely staff and a well decorated clean reception area. I would definitely recommend and will be back to try other dishes!

We ordered online and collected the food. Slight delay in everything being ready but otherwise was good. It was good quality and quantity though slightly more expensive than some of the other local Indian takeaways.

Terrible service. Ordered at 1835, delivery was meant to be 40 mins, phoned at 1955, assured it had just gone our for delivery, be with us in 15 mins. 2035 still not here. So they either lied or it had been driven round Dunfermline for at least 40 mins, either way not good. Phoned again, they blanked my phone call, switched to another mobile, they picked up straight away? Said he would call back to say where it was, never did. Finally arrived and order was wrong. Phoned (again) to complain, assured the manager would call to rectify, still waiting 3 days later. If anyone at the curry pot bothers to read this it was order 7544665.

Absolutely fantastic food. I enjoyed the chicken tandoori and the lamb briyani. Enough meat in the briyani and the lamb was so tender. Staff are friendly. 10/10 will return

Was so looking forward to this. 2 x King Prawn Bhuna + 2 x pilau rice and a 1 x nann bread. 6 King Prawn in my curry!!! Meal was luke warm when it arrived. It's usually our go to take away but lately standard seem to have slipped. A couple of months ago I picked up our meal up and when I served it up, 1 of them was the wrong curry. So disappointing. They were giving 10% off tonight. I would rather pay full price and have more prawns and the food to be hot. Need to find another take away now. Sorry.

Got to admit I’ve had a few Indian takeaways but this is by far the best! Their food is absolutely delicious!!!!

Probably the worst takeaway I’ve ever had, naan bread tasted shop bought and really dry, chicken korma was like sweet flavourless gloop with 1/4 of chicken breast if I was lucky, and the rice was extremely bland. My first order, and now my last. The stars are fully for the delivery driver being sound.

If I could give 0 stars I would, first time ordering and stupidly didn't look at reviews.. this has got to be the worst takeaway iv ever had.. food was bland and cold when I got it korma didn't taste anything like a korma the chips were freezing and the nan bread well I don't know what that was ment to be absolutely horrific..2 meals had one bite and then chucked straight in the bin i certainly will not be ordering again nor will I be recommending to anyone to go here ! If your going to have a takeaway make sure you can actually cook and make the meals how they are ment to be because last night I dunno what I had but it certainly wasn't an Indian. Disgraceful for the money they charge

I have had quite a few meals from the Curry Pot in the past but not for quite a while. They were always excellent. We have a delivery tonight, it was awful. Chicken tikka masala was bland and little flavour. Chicken was hard Hyderabad Bhuna ghost was very mild but should have been hot lamb was hard. Nan breads were hard Chapatiti was cold and hard Raiti had no favour and only 4 quarter pieces of cucumber! It is probably the worst curry meal I have had. Rob

Normally food is really good. However there was hardly any chicken in tikka masala,nan bread was half baked,rice was cold ,chicken korma had no taste ,actually tasted slightly soapy. Very pricy ,low quality.

Avoid. First and last time ordering, total waste of money. Food was awful, it was cremated and tasteless other than spice Nan bread raw and doughy etc etc. customer service is also shocking! Did message to try and resolve it but it’s been read and ignored once I asked for a refund as they thought offering me 10% off our next meal was suffice 😂

First time customer . Entered and the open kitchen in front of me was really messy. I viewed the menu and decided on Chicken Pakora and a Lamb Kebab. Waited 20 minutes on my food being prepared which gave the impression it was being freshly cooked. Went straight home and unpacked the food only to discover the pakora was very dry liked it had been overcooked but itwas strangely still cold in the middle. The pakora came with 2 sauces however the chilli one tasted like bottled sweat chilli sauce. Tried to reheat the pakora with a 30 second blast in the microwave, however this just made it even drierand it went in the bin. Next the Lamb Kebab was wrapped in foil so although still hot it had very little filing. The homemade like nan bread was huge but the tiny morcels of lamb inside had been burnt to a crisp and were unediable. This left some brown leaved Iceberg lettuce in a strange Thousand Island Type dressing. There was no onion, tomato, cabbage or anything elseso sadly my Lamb Kebab joined the pakora in the bin. Needless to say with so many other good Indiian type food outlets nearby I will not return.

I have tried many of the dishes from the curry pot. My favourite is the saag. The staff are friendly and very kind. I would highly recommend.

Food is ok but the delivery is very bad and usually takes 2-3 hours to arrive and when i try to call the restaurant it always doesn't work and fails

Very poor choice in take out that fateful evening. I ordered chicken tikka masala, which was as chouche as a medicine ball. The tikka masala actually tasted of minestrone soup, which was beyond watery at best. Considering all the awards given, it comes across as very doubtful.

Overall the food and service was very good.

Such a lovely food ..it was our first time there ..ordered pulav rice , fried rice , chicken vindaloo etc. Everything was perfect ..vindaloo was outstanding..bit spicy though which I loved it ..will sure recommend to others

Had the Jaipur chicken last week and it was one of the best curries I've had.

I have used this take out over the years but unfortunately disaster happened. We ordered out our Friday night tea time meal . I ordered a tandoori chicken which I ate I have no smell or taste so nothing obvious. Two days later after an emergency appointment I was ambulance transferred into the Victoria hospital with suspected sepsis Any ways in hospital for a week a terrible experience it affected my kidneys and it even affected my heart. I have never felt like this before I was real poorly. The doctors asked about my meals I had that week including my family members it turned out I was the only one to have had that particular meal. THE DOCTOR INSISTED IT WAS THAT CHICKEN DISH I ATE. Anyway I will not return neither will my family members. I would strongly advise all to stay away . The outcome could have turned out much worse I think I was lucky to be honest. CHECK YOUR CHICKEN

Have ordered from here before and they have been late, however now they just don’t bother showing up and nobody answers the phone to get an update.

Orders food to be extra spicy and got nothing. Told they wouldn’t refund and happy for me to give a negative review. Obviously have no idea of customer satisfaction or customer care. Wouldn’t go back to them nor would I recommend. Couldn’t speak to the manager and no one else in charge. Shocking and waste of money!! AVOID!!

Decent little take away place. Portion sizes were decent for the price but don't come with rice, which I found strange. I'm not sure if that's a UK thing or unique to this restaurant. In the US pretty much every Indian restaurant serves rice with any main course. Not a huge deal, a £2 side was enough for two. I'm a big fan of spicy food - be it Indian, Asian, or simply using an unnecessarily large amount of spicy chilies in most dishes I prepare for myself. I asked for their spiciest and it was only about a medium. Flavorful and warming but not enough to make you flush, sweat, or my favorite: have your lips tingle. This is usually what I'm looking for when I ask for something as hot as possible at Indian or Asian restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to go back however!

Chicken sagg ,usually the best in town . Tonight's however not nowhere near the standard we usually expect. Don't know if the chef has changed or not but definitely a different sagg to what we are used to from the curry pot

Wanted just 2 tandoori mixed grill starters only, usually £3 ish anywhere else, was charged 3 times that. Lamb or whatever it were was coated in chilli so hot that it took the skin off my lips. Then I fought through gristle and bone with the rest. Don't reccomend this place.

Handed a £20 note over the counter for 2 starters and onion bhaji and it wasn't enough, had to pay on card. All the food got thrown in the bin along with the 6 dips and soggy bag of wet lettuce. We got the mixed grill starter, meat far too hot and the bhajis were dry and unusual. Won't be going back.

I cant comment on the various menu items since I always have the same thing! However this is because its always spot on. Never had any isssue with collection or delivery. Recommendation is Lamb tikka, chicken tikka starters with an a garlic nann bread. Comes with two pots of sauce.

I had one off the best Takeaways ever tonight. Malayan Fruit Dish with Pineapple and coconuts. Absolutely delicious.

Expect better. Order hasn’t appeared after over 2 hours since order!

Absolutely awful. Waited over THREE AND A HALF HOURS for the food, no refund (they refused to even offer a discount). Soggy pakora, grisly chicken and the sauces were vile. The masala sauce tasted like raw blended onion as did the curry sauce for the biryani. Naan bread cold and soggy and covered in raw garlic...inedible. We paid over £50, supporting a local business. Ridiculous. Next time I'll make my own. Avoid.

I dont know where the 1 * from we always eat from this restaurant their curry is best one I ever had. Always delicious and great portions. Been ordering for 6 years and never once I been dissatisfied. 5*
