Curry Lounge Indian Buffet Restaurant & Takeaway in Inverclyde

Went for the buffet. Superb food. Starter was exceptional and plenty of it. Choice of six curries for the main. Had one of each all delicious. Couldn't even manage the desert. Exceptional service! Couple of cokes too. £20 each for everything. Will be going again soon.

I absolutely love Curry Lounge. Easily the best Indian food I have ever eaten. My fiancé and I order from here on a regular basis. We always order the tandoori mix grill which consists of a large portion of delicious grilled meats, rice, naan and a sauce we always ask for a different sauce every time we order which have all been delicious. The staff are so friendly, helpful and are genuinely interested in their customers. You can even sit in the restaurant and bring your own bottle of wine or beer. 10/10

Stopped in Port Glasgow on way home . An excellent value meal for 2 cost £36.55. The restaurant isn't licensed so you need to bring your own bottle (Tesco's nearby). Good service from friendly staff. A really nice meal, recommend Chicken Tikka Karahi and Chicken Tikka Punjabi Masala served with nice naan bed.

was staying at gleddoch hotel and we fancied an indian meal so we had a look at reviews and popped by. this is a busy carry out with seating in rear and soon to be upstairs as well we went for the buffet. mixed starters were served to us and once finished we were offered more choice of 8 curry’s all excellent flavours and meat was excellent and they were topped up fresh regularly staff are excellent. great value for £17.95 that’s your pompodoms, starters , main meals with sides and then sweet with tea coffee there is not a drinks licence however you can take your own bottle and no corkage fee will be back. thanks mo

Our third visit to this restaurant. The menu has changed and there’s a great choice of rice available now. The service was very good and all the food was very tasty, especially the Nan. The chicken puri starter is nice but not worth the new higher price of £7.95! It’s a shame the prices have increased so much with the change of menu. They have no alcohol licence so bring your own booze.

The food is always delicious! Staff very attentive. Lovely atmosphere inside. The buffet is exceptional value for money.

Our first visit to this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Free popadoms to nibble before we even ordered. Both the starters and main courses were very tasty indeed and the Nan was huge! The service was very good and friendly. The decor in the restaurant is very nice. I have only one negative. The menus were absolutely filthy. They were sticky and covered in food! I really didn’t want to touch them. All they need is a wipe over! Please sort that out!

Absolutely amazing curry at reasonable price! Cannot wait until Nawab opens! Food could not be faulted, portion sizes could not be faulted and staff could not be faulted. First time trier's give it 5 star

We booked ahead and the guy on the phone was pleasant. When we got there we were greeted and taken to our seat. We were given popadoms And our starters, a large plate with lovely side dips. The starters were amazing. I wish I could have selected more at the buffer. Absolutely amazing pakora. The curries were ridiculous in flavour. Mostly chicken however the lamb was lovely. I tried 4 different curries and a lovely dessert to follow. We both left extremely happy. No wonder this place won their recent award. The food is incredible.

Honestly, if you have never tried this place, it is awesome, please try, it is awesome, food is the best take away I have ever experienced. Honestly people, need to try. Thank you for your first class service curry lounge. Andy. X

Hmm it seemed like there was a fine layer of grease over the table. The well used menus felt really dirty and filmy, tables probably given a cursory wipe with a damp cloth; but not clean. Shockingly they put of the poppadoms and sauces, spiced onions etc on the tables before customer arrive. I was there for an our and witnessed servers flies landing on these at the vacant tables next to me which made me feel queasy as I had just consumed some from our table believing them to be fresh. Bulk Food wise we went for the buffet. Not one veggi option was available (the waiter personally escorted me to the buffet to show me that all that was available was chicken like I was a bit thick. But I was really only trying to ask if I could order an alternative) he said I could pick two from the menu. The aubergine dish I selected was, predictability, unavailable. So it was, cheap as chips , cauliflower and potatoes or potatoes and cauliflower. The potatoes were very undercooked and I'm talking raw, not al. Denti. The all you can eat buffet had a limited starter too, veggi option was three pieces of veggi pakora and two slices or battered potato. Meat option was twice the portion size. Did not ask if I wanted more. For £15 a head I would not go back. Massively over priced for bland, undercooked food. Service wasn't the best either.

One of the best Indian food establishments. Food is fresh and very tasty. Portion size is good. More authentic than generic. Establishment is staff are friendly and helpful.

For a very long time we have struggled to find good Indian food locally. We usually waste money on junk and get really disappointed. Not today! Curry Lounge clearly know good food. Our meals were delicious, tasty and VERY fresh. We will 100% return. Whole family cleared their plates. Not one complaint. Thank you Curry Lounge

Like to say service is perfect in here everyone is so nice they have a Yao while waiting on ur dinner...best takeaway can get anywhere...I'm a regular here love ma shish kebabs amazing...defo recommend this place .

We had a wonderful lunch at Curry Lounge. £8.95 for 3 course was fantastic value. Starter main course and ice cream. Choice of pakora followed by any curry with rice or nan. Great service and hope to return soon.

use this carry out couple of times a month. food is always spot on and staff see genuinely intrested in their customers.. hands down better than the rest

Just had an excellent buffet meal at the Curry Lounge in Port Glasgow. The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive.The lamb curry was tender and very tasty and the chicken tikka had a nice smokey flavour. Soft drinks and zero alcohol beer...
