Curry art in Derby

Not great, first time ever trying but wont be back in a hurry. Missed the peshwari naan and i ordered chicken tikka masala but whatever i got was not masala as that is more cream based this was tomato based. Annoying as it wasnt cheap!!

Been using Curry Art for several years and normally food is reasonably good. Today was not great. It came 30 minutes late. Rice was not great. Saag Aloo had a lot of water. Silica lacked onions, tikka masala was very cocanutty. This was not a cheap meal so I am quite disappointed.

Popadums and pickles were tasty, garlic chilli chicken was like water and had no taste, the chicken was dry too. The king prawn biriani was lovely, full of prawns. The cheese and garlic naan had no cheese, peshawari naan was ok. I would not return in a hurry.

Fantastic food and service, always something on the menu when you’re not sure what you want to eat.

Just back from Goa and the food is as good as anything I had on holiday

food was really tasty! loved every bite. delivery was bang on time and meant the food was hot when we got it.

Easy to order through just eat from the menu, faster delivery than expected l, piping hot & fantastic dishes. Would highly recommend 😃

You have changed the chef I presume and the menu. the bhuna was passable, the korma was pale and only just passable. You have replaced the sheesh, the chicken tikka with a cheap bahji and substituted for two portions of rice. The poppadoms and pickles were again small and so was the nan. For the price it was not worth the money and a poor shadow of the previous meal we normally have. I will not be ordering from you again until the quality and portions improve. Are you new owners? or chef?

10/10 I’ve been here for the third time and each time has been amazing! Prawn special is my favourite by far! So nice!!! give the chef a raise because he is doing amazing! ❤️

Worst curry we have ever had .Balti was sweet and tastless tandoori chicken was really dry , nan bread was stodgy . Pickle tray was ridiculous,we would never recommend curry art to anyone,never been so disappointed 😞

Called up, politely asked to speak to the manager. The guy hung up the phone, i thought the line broke so i called again and got put down. I don't understand what is the problem with people.

Curry was extremely sweet, and it was no korma it was a masala. Never had Indian much but if this is what it's like then I don't wanna try it again sorry, had to throw it out it was that bad. Not for me. Got an extra poppadom tho so that was nice of them

Everything was VERY sweet, the popadoms arrived totally smashed, sauce leaked in the bag so only manage to salvage half, cold rice. Wouldn’t buy again.

Compared to the usual quality, tonight’s meal was disappointing. A cold plain nan when a cheese and garlic nan was ordered and the food just wasn’t up to the usual fabulous standard. Delivery was on time and always a smile at the door. Please don’t your standards slip

Arrived on time however Nan bread had black spots on 1 side, oil from the curry drenched the plate, chips were soggy and had a funny taste, chicken was hard couldn’t eat any of it

Food was good. Requested a 1930 delivery but arrived at 1910. Delivery person did not use the doorbell then was very rude shoving the food over and saying 'do you think we have all night', as we did not answer the door straight away (as we did not notice the person due to it being early and no ringing of the doorbell). Probably will not order from Curry Art again because of this delivery person.

Great quality food, extensive menu and competitively priced. Never disappointed with my meal. Delivery drivers are always polite and courteous.

Food was delivered 25 mins late. The chips and the samosas were soggy and cold and the curries were cold. Had to re heat them all which was then like eating leftovers.

Delivery driver couldn’t find location. We ended up walking the streets trying to find him. By that time the food was cold. The free popadom was broken into a thousand pieces in the bag. The curry had all leaked out into the bag. Meat was tough. What a waste of money!

Curry Art did not master the art of making my patia sweet and sour, to the extent that I added apple-flavoured BBQ sauce and sweet chilli sauce I had in the cupboard. Had I not done that, I would describe the curry as 'pre-flavoured'/flavourless.

The food was awful. The trays were half empty, the milk shakes were warm and had 300 mls of fluid in for £5:99 each. The nan bread was hard and chewy. the worst Indian takeway we have ever had.

I can highly recommend the Lamb Butter Delight as that is exactly what it was - delightful!! The lamb was sooo lean & tender. The sauce was packed full of flavour with just a background hint of chilli & sweetness. I'll be back again

Thought we'd give Curry Art a try as part of our tester of local Indian take aways, ordering is good, tracking on phone good, delivery acceptable, unfortunately the food did not come up to our top take away standard, so with disappointment we will not be a returning customer.

Lovely food. I had the Garlic Chilli Chicken and I was spot on. Just the right amount of heat that you can still enjoy the food. Two green chillies in mine too.

First order, we took the set meal for two the food was great, the best curry I’ve had in a while. Thoroughly recommend.

The vegetable pakoras were black, masala was tasteless, rice was cold and popadoms were shattered. Worst curry I’ve ever ordered. Do not go here

Have had deliveries from here previously always been good but tonight’s food was dreadful really expensive for what are virtually chicken nuggets. The keema naan I ordered was tasteless also I ordered a madras sauce which wasn’t very spicy at all. I paid over £18 for this really poor value 😢

I have been eating curries for 50 years and without doubt this was the worst meal my wife and I have ever purchased after 3 forkfuls my wife had enough I managed 4 absolutely awful

Ordered from here a few weeks ago and I genuinely couldn't fault it. It was spicy and tasted great. However today was disappointing. I ordered for me and my friend, and the curry was bland and watery and the naan was tough

Undercooked naan, was like dough. Chicken tikka masala had a slight strange taste I found odd, but still ate it as it wasn’t completely awful. Delivery time was decent but had to wait a long time for the change as the driver didn’t have any and went back to the car for a good 5 minutes or so to sort it. Food temp was warm but not hot. Wouldn’t be in a rush to order from here again.

Delicious, chicken was perfectly cooked and the rest was great as well. Friendly driver too! (sorry if I seemed rude mate I was cold lol). :)

Myself and some friends went here a couple of weeks ago, the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting is warm, relaxing and welcoming They do a 4 course meal special Monday to Thursday I think, excellently priced! Though it’s small at one end they can accommodate 20 people so great for large groups too. Service was fast and friendly The food was fabulous will definitely be going again

Ordered here as Love Curry was closed today and we normally go there. Used to have curry art takeaways years ago. The masala really wasn't good, generic bland sauce and nothing like it used to be. Not like any other masala I've had. Onion bhaji was decent and naan pretty good but both of us disappointed with the main. Will go back to love curry.
