Cuisine Marmaris in Darlington

Been going here for years since back when it was situated on Northgate. Was a little sceptical as not been for a while and read the very mixed reviews since the move and supposedly different owners. We were not disappointed. opted for my usual chicken wrap and it was huge! Very tasty chicken shawarma with salad packed in a wrap. Probably a little too much sauce in mine but was still delicious. Will definitely return.

Just been there today and it was the worst wrap I've ever had, in fact, thee worst meal I've ever had. The wrap was all flaky and the sauce was dripping out everywhere. Shameful. I wouldnt ever serve something like that to anyone. Also had me waiting quite a while.

Ordered lots of times from this restaurant, spent lots of money in there new take away location and old take away location, I called and asked if they swap the meat balls for donner meat in the special kebab, they said yes no problem, so 5 orders asking for donner rather than meat balls no problem on darlo eats, 6th order I got a phone call stating they don’t swap the orders around and they refuse to, I said that they have done it 5 times previously with no issues and they basically said I was lying, anyway had to cancel the order, they said it was down to me to contact darlo eats to cancel, but after 1 hour trying to contact darlo eats the told me it’s the restaurant who has to cancel the order, called the restaurant and they said they are to busy to cancel it, wasn’t happy, poor experience, must be nice to be that busy and earning that much money to let customers go who spend £80 to £120 a month with them,

Food is quite good only problem with this shop it just closes randomly with no notice says open online so won't be using again

Spot on kebab cooked how a kebab should be and even asked if want rice like the Turkish way thumbs up all round and can eat in if Desired

fast food. staff ok. prices ok, its ok after your night out and every where is closed, its a fast pit stop for a fast food fill up , not bad

Spot on kebab! Truly the best local Turkish takeaway! Brilliant salad box, perfect handmade chilli sauce which is very rare in darlo, nice garlic sauce, good warm chips! Excellent consitency of meat (no gristle) with nice flavour. Full Order arrived quickly (within half hour) which is outstanding for the early hours of the day, polite staff. 10/10

Oh wow!! The chicken and cofta is amazing. Its just like barbeque food. My daughters got a pizza and that was delicious too. Big burger for my son who was well impressed. None as good as the kofta though. Oh man!!! So good!

Completely messed up the order and were very rude when we called to try and correct it. Said they would send out the correct order but we would have to pay! I told them not to bother and I wouldn't be ordering from them again and the rude guy said 'fine' and slammed the phone down. Lovely

Well for a start the food was cold and steal. The cheesy chips were vile. The cheese tasted like flour and it took an hour and a half to arrive. Disappointing considering I always used to get my food from here.

Food arrived much later than estimate, we did get free bottle of coke but that's the only positive part of the order. Food wasn't hot, pizza average, garlic bread burnt and the parmo wrap so over cooked, chicken was hard. Delivery driver polite and apologies for the delay.

Ordered a mixed cold mezze starter and all I received was terrible hummus and cacik. For £6, come on! Delivery driver was lovely, that's about it.

Pizza was burnt... staff had attitude problem not happy... not like I spent a couple of quid.. more like nearly 3o 😡😡 fuming

It was 50 mins late and my chicken breast was very overlooked. My son enjoyed his pizza.

Very good. Special kebab is one of the best in darlington. Meats tasted barbecued and were cooked perfectly.

Brilliant Food. I alway make a request to make it extra hot as I love my very spicey meals and they never fail. The delivery was dropped on the exact minute I ordered it for as well which was perfect and the driver was extremely friendly. Thanks again guys :D <3

Nothing delivered after waiting up over an hour

Hands down the best takeaway I have ever had. We ordered 3 kebabs, kofta, shish and a mixed. Deeeeeliciois. Also got the pizza macho, stuffed crust with extra chilli. I loved that it was actual spicy chilli, not the usual jalapeño shite. Everything was cooked brilliantly. And as a chef, I give you 11/10. Fanfuckingtastic.

Ordered from here a few times now and usually spot on but this time delivery took 2 hours so phoned up and was told it had already left but no apology or anything. Part of the order was chicken nuggets which had bits of bones in them, quiet big aswell. Won't be ordering from here again.

I had to call the shop after delivery being 20 minutes late, I was told that they were very busy and it hadn't gone out yet. Food arrived 45 minutes later!

Well I used to order from here all the time but my good lord! I hope you cuisine marmaris employees are reading this. Do not order from here I have never bin so disguisted if I'm honest I want my money back. The kebab meat was dry and had white hard fat bits init the garlic sauce was disgusting and the parmesan had a huge lump of fat init and a bone!!! The chips were also cold I am very dissapointed I used to order from here all the time from now on I won't bother I have left most of the meal and threw it in the bin it's ridiculous you used to make nice food and now it's mingin think u need to change ya chef better yet should be under new management TERRIBLE!

Ordered lots and usually great but now charging £2.50 delivery, this should to me mean spot on delivery time and order. Not so. Arrived late and with missing items. If you're going to charge such a ridiculous price for delivery at least have the decency to put some effort in and get it right. After a long history of ordering, won't be doing so again.

Having eaten here before v dissapointed tonight london pizza was awful cold and dry. Garlic bread also cold and dry, coleslaw ok. Actually left 90% of the meal waste of money.

Lovely food, added 10 mins on to estimated delivery time then food was a further 15 mins late.

Foul pizza. It was burnt the tuna was really burnt.paid extra for mushroom and there was 3 pieces on the full pizza. Paid extra for stuff crust didn't get it. Rang up and was told sorry we are closing soon. Used the pizza shop as my usual one was closed will never go back. Put me off pizza for a while

The donner meat was not as hot this time (ordering later in the night) delivery was speedy but expensive at £2.50. +50p card fee makes just eat expensive but you pay for convinience.

Ordered 19:30 and arrived 30 mins late at 21:00 despite calling to chase. Ordered a spicy beef pizza with chillies etc. Received a bland plain chicken pizza. Everyone so hungry we just added our own sauces and add ons. Awful service

I will eat most things, parmo was cold tasteless 're formed rubber! Special shish was extra £ for Donna meat we didn't want came with rice no option for chips . Also cold waited an hour to put my dinner in the bin !

Ordered at 8 when JE said 45 for delivery, Marmaris said food had been delivered at 09:15 but food did not turn up until just after 10. Pizza was cold and kebab under cooked. Abysmal food and service from what is usually a good takeaway

Usually this takeaway is slightly better than your regular takeaways that use frozen goods (i.e. not made fresh). However, they are overpriced and have customer service issues. In April I placed an order that amounted to around £30 - it arrived an hour and twenty minutes late. Whilst waiting, I rang the restaurant to enquire where my food was and rather than apologise and attempt to "compensate" me, the lady argued with me that they were busy and that if she took any money off the bill, she would be feeding me for cost price (i.e. placing profit above customer satisfaction). For those wondering why I didn't cancel my order , it was late in the evening and I would have had to wait a further 45minutes at any other takeaway, taking it towards 11pm by the time the food had arrived. Had the lady told me it would be over an hour for my order in the first place, I would have looked elsewhere, but, customers shouldn't be forced to order elsewhere due to the incompetence of the restaurant. Unfortunately, not only was the food late, it was only luke-warm. Order here by all means, but don't be surprised when, if there are issues with your order, the staff are not understanding or helpful.

Hadnt had a marmiris for a while..we had it tonight...it was better than ever. House special kebab..absolutly delicious:-D delivery came really quickly by the really nice delivery man..totally reconmend.

Delivery Time wasn't good but there was only one driver out and about on his own all night so I don't blame the time we waited...... Full credit to the guy who dropped our food off working none stop all night on his own... Food is really good as well

I got told the food would be here for 2:15 came for 2:50 I left a comment ask for lettuce and mayo only in my food came with no mayo and all salad in my warp clearly don't read the comments I normally go in to the shop for my food and its really nice but not for ordering to your home

Don't even really deserve 1 star for any food was an hour late! The garlic sauce is horrible the, pitta break was dry and none of this was worth the money. Very disappointed won't be ordering again

It's been a while since getting a takeaway from here as the were substituting the lamb donner for another type of lamb which hubby wasn't keen on as was quite fatty - I called in from way home from work and altho the ship was fairly busy I had my order took straight away - I had chicken shish and hubby the mixed kebab and it was fantastic and it contained proper donner meat!! - will definitely use again in near future altho I'll probably ring my order in before I leave work next time to make it quicker!

Really decent quality kebab skewers grilled on a charcoal grill. However on this occasion I ordered large and it was supposed to come with donner meat too which was missing off the order.
