Cubana in Islington

Food was lovely however drinks were very poor. I had Pimms and first round was nice however second one tasted nothing like Pimms . My friends also didnt like their cocktails and some end up being sent back. We had traditional cuban chicken as the main course and that was lovely. Also its nice that you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Qué lugar tan encantador para el almuerzo. Ciertamente no es tu día a día alrededor de Farringdon. Sensación muy auténtica. Como si estuvieras en la casa de alguien en La Habana. Comida deliciosa Vine a almorzar, así que no probé ninguno de los cócteles, pero definitivamente volveré por ellos. La sangría fue de primera categoría! Lo recomiendo

Home made food and pastries, staff friendly, visit here often. The street food is fab. If on the rare occasion I've had an issue, sorted immediately.👍🏽

Rang and booked a table for Saturday over the phone . Turned up only to find it doesn’t open Saturdays very strange won’t be going again the food can’t be any good if staff don’t even know opening times .

Happy hour, delish platters with fresh bread and dips. Amazing service from staff, super friendly, Milena Peter, Adrian and Yasmina esp as it was my birthday. Have visited twice after for after work drinks and service and food just great. Great friday nights out.

Thursday night, very quiet so lacked atmosphere, can't blame the restaurant for that. Food pretty good (Pulled pork a little oversalted) and reasonable value. Staff friendly & efficient.

If your looking for a good Friday night with, some genuine latin vibes, this is the place for you. With a wonderful live band, you get to enjoy the melodies of great latin music while you eat your meal. The food is incredibly delicious, with a range of healthy meals with generous servings. All in all, a great night out, and good value for money.

We were walking past this place and the happy hour drew us in. It's a funky place..however the cocktails were disappointing..the saving grace was they were dirt cheap.

We had a brilliant time at Cubana celebrating my wife’s birthday. Drinks were priced well and the atmosphere was relaxed but fun. The food was fabulous, really nice street food vibe. Would definitely return!

I was at this restaurant last week in a trip to London. We went to this restaurant as we were close to our hotel. Ordered ropa vieja, one of the most classic Cuban dish and it was terrible, weird color (kind of white), no flavor at all, dry,.. and very small portion (12 pounds). They had live music which was making impossible to have a conversation and the decor was like a Cuban restaurant from the Fidel Castro era, definitely not a charming place. Service was ok, but if you cannot make a very simple dish such as ropa vieja, i do not think you should go there. Maybe it is the best you can expect in England for Cuban food, but i lived in Miami for years and i can assure you that it is not real Cuban food. Better get a fish and chips in a pub, at least you know what you get.

A lovely meal as ever at Cubana with live music and they even gave us lovely hot citrusy cookies for free. 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour are a real bargain. The staff are also delightful. A great place to go to relax after work.
