Tuvimos un delicioso desayuno aquí justo antes de Navidad, el personal extremadamente amable y acogedor a pesar de estar muy ocupado tratando con pedidos de Navidad que fueron recogidos. Los ingredientes de buena calidad utilizados y el menú cuidadoso permite opciones vegetarianas / veganas y sin gluten. ¡Acepta perros también!

Esta mañana fui a pedir un bocadillo, ya lo había pagado y estaba esperando a que se cocinara. Mientras esperaba me senté en una mesa recientemente desocupada, ya que es una tienda muy pequeña. Una pareja blanca entró a la tienda y necesitaba una mesa para 2 , escuché la petición y dije que me voy pronto para que puedan sentarse aquí. La señora de la pareja bajó la cara a la mía (espacio personal) solicitando que puedan se sientan aquí, yo respondí que sí por supuesto. Luego dijo que “él” necesita un asiento. Le dije que estaba esperando un sándwich y le cederé mi asiento. Los trabajadores de la tienda me dijeron que tenía que moverme para darles mi asiento. Les pregunté por qué y su respuesta fue que podía ir a sentarme en otro lugar. En este punto les dije que me estás pidiendo que ceda mi asiento por una persona blanca cuando puedan esperar un par de minutos o sentarse en otro lugar hasta que consiga mi sándwich. Respondieron que tenía que mudarme. Me levanté y di mi asiento a la pareja blanca favorecida y solicité un reembolso. La confusión sobre por qué pedí el reembolso y por qué estaba molesto fue completamente desconcertante para ellos. En ese momento mi sándwich estaba listo y podía tomarlo. Les dije que no, que no quería que el sándwich solo me diera un reembolso. Si mi cuerpo de color no vale la pena cortesía común, entonces ¿por qué voy a aceptar su sándwich, solo dame un reembolso. El gerente me pidió mi número para discutirlo más tarde. Le dije que no me devolviera mi dinero. ¡El racismo se presenta como privilegio blanco de clase media! Esta no es la primera vez que se sabe que sirven blancos que están detrás de usted en la cola. Pensé en darle el beneficio de la duda y volver a irme. ¡Evita!

Small but cozy dining area with gorgeous decor. To go options are very convenient if the cafe is full and the service is fast (even at peak hours) and super friendly. We sat in and the food was awesome - would definitely come back but wouldn’t recommend for parties more than 3 or 4 due to the limited space.

Really enjoyed the veggie full English breakfast - grilled halloumi, vegetarian sausages, eggs, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and poached eggs. The sour dough bread was really tasty too. We all had the same except my son who had poached eggs with smoked salmon. It was quite busy but we didn't have to wait very long for a table for 4 and the staff took our orders whilst we were waiting so after we arrived at the table, it wasn't long until our breakfasts arrived. Everything was perfectly cooked.

WOW. What an amazing little find this place is! After getting out of my taxi, I spotted a quiet little Cafe on the opposite side of the road. I thought rather than going in to Starbucks I’ll give these a try. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I asked for a Full English which consists of 2 Bacon, 2 Saisage, Egg, Beans, 2 Black Pudding, a sliced Tomato and some freshly baked toasted bread with a Latte to wash it down with. I’m not often lost for words when I’ve eaten but I’m struggling to think of a word which justifies how nice that actually was. All the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. None of the pre packed rubbish you find in any normal greasy spoon cafe, this is DEFINITELY not one of those places! The sausages were exquisite! Bacon absolutely on point and cooked to perfection and the rest of the plate was equally as good. The staff were very polite and service was quick. They also sell Coffee Beans, Jams, Fresh Bread Rolls, Chocolate and a selection of pastries. I live at the other side of Leeds but this could well be my new breakfast hide out. Definitely worth of this review. Thank you very much, what a way to start your morning!

Had an excellent breakfast ( available until 12 noon ) everything piping hot and freshly cooked and not at all greasy ! I would agree with other commentators that on a day when the outside tables can’t be used it feel a bit overcrowded . Otherwise a positive experience !
