Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport in Aberdeen City

Great staff, great food, great service, great rooms. 6 stars

I ordered a taxi and was told by the taxi firm they could not pick me up outside the hotel. I therefore had to walk down the road in pouring rain and howling gales. I will not be staying at the Crowne Plaza again.

This hotel has now taken a very unreasonable position in trying to stop people being dropped off in the street outside, despite it doing no harm to the hotel. Note that the letters it sends out with “fines” can be ignored. I would encourage anyone not to the use hotel. My own company for example is not using it as a result of this unreasonable policy.

Very nice hotel at Aberdeen airport. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and good location. Helpful and service minded staff. I liked it there, and got a good night rest before I head to work offshore in the morning.

Vey good location for the airport and connection into Aberdeen city centre.

Pick-up and drop-off check-in point

We were here for a concert at TECA, which was only a 20 min walk away. Only down point is the bar does not do pints of cider and no cocktails

I stay in this hotel regular ,, I prefer the crowned plaza ,staff are caring , bedroom, are comfortable ,nice view ,at the airport u can c the air planes taking off & coming in ,? Not far from the airport ,it self , breakfast buff is nice food , ,clean & tiedy ,,ect , 👍 ,

Superb hotel at a higher standard than many. The staff were fab and my Club Room was lovely. There was a lot of choice for Breakfast and it was all super-tasty.

Good hotel with easy access and good food

Minimum temp of 19°C let the hotel down - no windows to open, and could not sleep - despite really comfy beds, and a fan they provided to us. Sadly will not return.

I always stay at the Crown Plaza when I am in ABZ on business. I am an IHG Club Member. Unfortunately, this year the management have obviously given up on maintaining their rooms. Every month I stay in the hotel and each time I do, I have to move rooms as the air conditioning doesn’t work or there is no hot water for the shower or the shaving mirror is missing. The staff are great and the restaurant is good (the menu is a little limited) but all their efforts are wasted because it is obvious that the management don’t give a damn anymore.

One star taken away for a relatively tired gym room, lack of variety in equipment. For a 4 star hotel at price of 100 quid a night is just unacceptable.

For my first experience staying in a hotel nicer than a premier inn this was brilliant. The hotel was very nice. My stay was actually in August 2023 and I'm writing this in May 2024 shows the memories sit rent free in my head to this day and I definitely anticipate a return!

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to an event we were attending. From the moment we entered the hotel, the service, hotel experience, facilities, and ease of access were fantastic. The room was modern, comfortable, and handsomely appointed. The hotel was backing onto the airport, so we were worried about the noise but didn't hear a thing in the lobbies or the hotel room. Bar staff were amazing, and the front desk hotel clerk Sharon was exceptional. We didn't eat at the hotel but both the breakfast and evening meals smelled amazing. Our key cards were deactivated twice (our mistake), and we were quickly sorted . Thank you for a great stay in such a beautiful space.

Nice rooms but 5star prices for food ,I recommend going 200yrds to next door restaurant more value for your £ ,prices based on workers using food allowance at hotel

Great airport hotel, about a 10 min walk from the terminal. I arrived at the hotel at around 10pm and check in was quick and efficient. Due to checking being so late I wasn't able to try the restaurant, closes at 10. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I didn't hear any airplane noises in the room I was staying in so got a really good night's rest. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and would highly recommend the breakfast. Wide selection covering the traditional English and haggis, continental, cereals and fruit. I only tried the bacon, sausages and haggis and all were of very good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Will definitely stay there again.
