Best takeaway curry house in Plymouth, and yes I've tried a lot of them. The chicken pakora's are amazing and the curries are are top notch. Every thing is done to an amazing standard, including the lovely lady who delivered the food. Great job guys 👏 😃

Fantastic food……best mixed kebab we have ever had…! And they listened to the comments of making my wife’s biryani very mild, which others haven’t before……this will be our goto indian from now on……thankyou for a wonderful meal

I ordered chicken tikka biryani got home they got order wrong and I had balti no rice phoned up they wouldn't do anything about it so never again

Ordered many times before ,ordered tonight person on end on phone could nearly understand English ,repeated three times that I wanted a side of veg curry ,orders turned up with a veg sag which looked like slime ,rung up and wax told point blank they would not send out correct meal ,when I asked for manager was put on hold ,then after few minutes phone pug down and now won't answer the phone...disgusting customer service..won't be using again ever ...d

Dish had little flavour, there were 4 king prawns in there, for £12, not great. The chips looked like they had been refried. Really disappointed as have ordered before and been nice. Was going to order from another place and wish I had.

Good menu and well cooked food. I went to the shop so don't know about delivery times. Only prob was cash only but there is a cash point over the road. Enjoyed my meal.

Lovely curry, had a small issue with waiting for awhile for my order.

Order arrived much earlier than advised, which was brilliant! All the food was piping hot and tasted incredible. We’ve never had a bad order from here! Will definitely order again and highly recommend. So tasty and exactly what we wanted!

Excellent once again, arrived quickly and all food piping hot! Brilliant flavours and fresh ingredients, excellent food!

Don't really mind the 15 minutes late, but it took 2 hours from ordering to delivery which is far too long. When we ordered on JE the delivery time said 55 -75 minutes. Once we had ordered it changed to 85 - 100 minutes and it took 2 hours.

Ordered chicken madras pilau rice and mixed starter,mixed starter was minimal for the price madras was tasteless and the pilau rice was bland something has changed here ,phoned and complained told manager would phone never called never get my money again 😔

First time trying Crown Spice and definitely won’t be the last. Absolutely delicious. We had Chicken Bhuna and Lamb Balti, can’t recommend enough.

Food was tasteless, really terrible. So disappointed, won't be ordering again.

First time ordering from here...Wow! We ordered Tikka Masala & Korma. My husband said the Tikka Masala was THE best he has ever tasted. My Korma was so nice, full of flavour & creamy. The lady who delivered our meal was lovely too. When the meal arrived it was very hot which was a bonus ! 100% will recommend this place & 100% we will be ordering again from there. Ordered from here, first time tonight. Our order arrived at 6.05pm and we had a delivery time of 6.25-6.45pm. The delivery lady is really nice, our meal was very hot when it arrived and really tasty. Tikka Masala my husband said was the best he had ever tasted, my Korma was really creamy, amazingly tasty. Will 100% recommend this place for an Indian Meal. Can't wait to order another meal in a couple of weeks ! Thank you for such a lovely meal.

We've recently tried Nibana which is excellent and this place is just the same. I read a negative review from a lady who said it's not as good but honestly, both great. I wouldn't know the difference! So having 2 great Indian takeaways local is a bonus. Lucky us! Had chicken tikka masala & Veg korma with garlic nans & poppadoms & some various pickles. All cooked beautifully and chicken lovely & tender. We have enough for 2 nights & unlike Chinese, it reheats beautifully and fresh. Nibana doesn't deliver on Friday/Sat so this is a great option for us. Will look foward to trying more delicious dishes. Delivery on time & hot Thank you

Absolutely vile. Rubbery tough chicken, stale naan and inedible saag paneer. Gave this place a go despite Nibana across the road being our go to. Never again.

Eh. The actual curry was really nice, pretty oily though. The pilau rice was quite dead and over all everything was dripping in oil. Pretty average imo

Just had my first curry from Crown Spice, because Nibana was closed. Absolutely awful. Asked for a hot Tikka Masala, not only was it mild and tasteless, but luke warm too. Never again! Rather go without, £15 down the drain

Great curries, really tasty and not smothered in oil. Delivery was early. Website to order was easy to use on a laptop (not so great on a mobile)

Disappointed tonight with our favourite Indian takeaway. Our chicken Madras X 2 didn't taste as nice as usual with chicken quite dry in the centre and something missing from spiciness, different chef perhaps? Garlic naan very dry and free popadoms stale, soft and inedible. Order arrived 30 minutes after promised time. Please Crown Spice, don't let your high standards drop now.

The most authentic and delicious Indian I have ever tasted .

Right firstly I'm a massive fan of Indian (visited over 300 restaurants alone UK wide) Just eat saying 60 mins prior and taking 1 hour 30 mins was the only disappointment. This food I would say was amazing, but that wouldn't be the right words to call it that !!! This food was the best ever Indian food I've ever had. Mango curry was so good !!!

Unsure if you ordered for delivery direct it would be any better of course BUT through just eat the delivery was slow, about an hour late. The food to be fair is exceptional but due to slow delivery, only after you reheat it.....arrived cold. Not good if wating with friends and or family. Collect and e joy the taste for sure, deliver, dont waste your time.

I have searched high and low to rival a Birmingham curry but have always been dissapointed. Crown spice is by far the best curry place in Plymouth, the chicken tikka masala was exceptional and I will definitley order again!

First time we have ordered from Crown Spice. Easy to order on line. Food arrived 10 minutes early very friendly delivery driver. Food was fantastic. Well worth giving it a try. Prices were also good.
